Hotel Atilius in Limone sul Garda

I recently visited the hotel and had an excellent experience from the moment I arrived. The staff, especially Bruno and Maria, were absolutely wonderful — very kind, friendly, and welcoming. Their warm hospitality and professional attitude made me feel truly comfortable and appreciated.

Amazing hotel! Amazing services for the price, clean rooms with beautiful views of the lake. The pool and hot tub are great, with great and filling breakfasts. The hotel is a nice and pretty 15-20 minute walk from the center of town. A great quiet location!

Lovely stay at Hotel Atilius - clean and comfy room. Quiet location. Hot tubs were a bonus and all guests can use them. Pool service was fab. Breakfast was varied and good food. Really enjoyed staying here and would recommend to other guests.

This is an amazing location for the wonderful view. It is roughly a few kilometers from the Limone center and therefore you have to find a walkable path. It is very modern… a bit sterile and super clean. I loved my stay once I figured out the lay of the land. I didn’t like seeing the campground under the road from my room or the noise from the road because you are close to the road. However I would stay here again for the cleanliness, the view and the slightly out of town location. Everyone is super friendly. There at e a few cute beach bars under the bridge as well

We have just returned from a 2-week break in Limone and we have had a fabulous time at Hotel Atilius. The hotel is very modern and is very well looked after, the rooms, public areas, and the grounds of the hotel are immaculately kept. The hotel is situated on the edge of Limone so is nice and quiet, the main road along the lake passes quite close to the hotel but we were rarely aware of it and never found traffic noise to be a problem. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the centre of Limone, mostly along a quite pedestrian/cycle way. The hotel does offer a shuttle into town for a small fee but we never felt the need to use it. Our room, although not large was perfectly OK and had a nice modern bathroom with a good shower. The bed was very comfortable and the tea and coffee making facilities were much appreciated. We had a small terrace outside our room which was a great place to sit, relax and gaze over the lake. The pool area was very nice, it was kept spotlessly clean with plenty of sun beds with parasols and the additional benefit of shade from numerous olive trees. The restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and evening meal. There was a wide choice of food for morning and evening and all was cooked and prepared beautifully. We really enjoyed the choice of dishes available at the “show cooking” counter. Anyone dining here should be sure to sample the pizzas on offer, they were very tasty !! Finally, the staff at the hotel are superb. Service was excellent and all the staff we met were very friendly. This is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in and we would certainly go back there if we holidayed on Lake Garda again. My wife and I have just returned from a week's stay at the Hotel Atilius in Limone, Lake Garda. This a really first class hotel with approachable friendly staff who without exception were helpful and always cheerful. This is a modern build set amongst long standing lemon and olive groves and the various rooms climb the hillside rendering the most stunning views of the lake - really breathtaking. There is an excellent swimming pool area with more than enough sunbeds and parasols for all. Towels are provided. There is also a life guard. Breakfast and evening meals (if half board) are excellent also with plenty of choice. We had a wonderful week. Two notes of caution however. The hotel is a fair distance outside of the town of Limone and whilst some intrepid reviewers seem to think it may be a 20 minute walk, this will depend on your age and fitness. We are in our early 70s and mobile but we found the walk, in the heat especially, arduous. From the main road down to the lakeside is particularly steep especially coming back. The hotel provides a shuttle service which runs on an irregular basis and the last shuttle from Limone to the hotel is at 6pm. Each trip costs 5 euros per person there and 5 euros back. On one occasion, the return shuttle did not turn up at the advertised time which wasn't too good really. One other point to make. The climbs to the rooms at the higher levels (where the best views are) might be hard for anyone with mobility or respiratory difficulties. All in all though a beautiful place for a restful and pampered week.

Excellent hotel, spotlessly clean and all of the staff were very friendly. Lovely pool area with charming lifeguard. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of hot and cold food. Liked the fresh juice machines especially. We ate once on an evening and again the food was very good.Our room 417 was kept very clean and tidy every day with complimentary toiletries and plenty of towels. There is quite a steep bank up to higher rooms which anyone with walking difficulties might find difficult but the views from the large balcony are amazing across the lake to Malcesine. I would say the walk to the centre of Limone is more than 15 minutes,more like 25 especially in 35 degrees but well worth it with lots of great places to eat and have a drink. Great ferry links around the lake too. Would definitely stay again

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. All of the hotel staff were very attentive and responsive to our needs. I would like to commend the receptionist Alessia, who made this experience very enjoyable and pleasant. The hotel rooms were very luxurious and clean, and included controlled AC. The view of the mountains was stunning and the outdoor pool made for a fun evening. I would definitely visit this hotel again!

A lovely hotel just 200m from the edge of Lake Garda.
Excellent views from the room, we had chairs and sun loungers to enjoy all day.
The pool was peaceful and not over crowded, always able to get beds, and complimentary towels.
The room wasn’t very big, but enough space for us to relax. It was very clean and tidied each day.
Breakfast has lots of options in the buffet and you can sit looking at the view of the lake.
The gym is small and outdoors with some cover so no AC, also overlooks the lake.
The town center is a 15-20min walk away so this area is much quieter and too busy.

Only downside was the gardeners were in during our 3 day stay so always leaf blowers and hedge cutters making noise.
