Hotel Albatros in Mestre

The hotel isn't categorized as a 4-star hotel, as the travel company I booked told me. It would be a 3-star hotel, with standard rooms, no problems. What I noticed that caught my attention was the dining room service, which was very poor, with very few staff to serve us. We had dinner the only night we stayed, and the service was relatively good, but there were other tours that included dinner, and the service was terrible, and the dinner they offered was the worst. Another issue is its location: it's in Mestre, far from everything you can visit in that city and also very far from the Venetian Lagoon, although there was a bus just a few meters away that took us to Venice after a half-hour trip. I think tour companies don't consider that, like us, we arrived before noon and wanted to see those places, so we wouldn't be back at the hotel until the next day, when we had an excursion. The location is terrible. I wouldn't recommend it.
