Hotel Saturnia & International in Venice

My wife and I are currently staying at the Hotel Saturnia on a 4 night break and we have been so impressed. The hotel is beautiful and has so much character. All the reviews rave about the breakfast with good reason but the Prosecco is a nice touch I wasn’t expecting.
A great hotel needs great staff and the this is where the hotel really shines. Friendly, funny and very informative. They really go the extra mile. After wandering the streets of Venice on my wife’s birthday we returned to our room to find a bottle of Prosecco on ice with a happy birthday message and a generous voucher for the hotel restaurant. Needless to say we were extremely grateful.
If you are booked in you are in for a treat. If you are thinking of booking, do it. You won’t regret it.

Perfect location for exploring Venice and easy access to public transportation (Giglio stop for Alilaguna from airport and Vaporetto) just 4 minutes walk away. Excellent breakfast with cappuccinos made to order. Gracious service and comfortable rooms. Should we travel to Venice again, we will certainly choose Hotel Saturnia.

Excellent location near Pizzale San Marco and Doge's Palace. Beautiful building lovingly cared for by the same family for over 100 years. Convenient to Vaporetto Line 1 (Giglio station) and plenty of shopping and good food. Staff was incredibly friendly. Concierge is available for anything you might need. Delicious breakfast is included. Our room was small but very clean. This is an old building, so do not expect a sleek modern look. Instead you get character and beauty! We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Hotel – Perfect for Gluten-Free Travelers

Got in touch by email a few days before arrival to clarify the gluten-free breakfast options. Received a quick reply about the selection and that we just had to mention celiac disease when arriving at breakfast, and the staff would show the options and help find solutions. On the first morning, the staff member we spoke to already knew our son had celiac disease, so the reception had clearly passed on the message. The chef had even prepared a gluten-free cake just for our son, which was delicious. The rest of the gluten-free selection was among the best I’ve ever seen at a hotel breakfast, and they also fried eggs for our son when we asked. A tip is to bring bags for toasting gluten-free bread. Very good and varied breakfast for the rest of us who don’t need to eat gluten-free as well.

The hotel also has spacious and comfortable rooms with a high standard, and the location is perfect for exploring the city’s attractions. It is also ideally situated, with many great gluten-free options at nearby restaurants, including the hotel’s own restaurant.

I highly recommend this hotel, both for the gluten-free food and in general. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff in all areas of the hotel. 10 out of 10 points

Excellent Hotel!

We recently stayed at Hotel Saturnia & International in Venice and overall had a wonderful experience. The location is unbeatable – just steps away from St. Mark’s Basilica and right in line with the designer boutiques. The hotel also offers a unique bonus: a private boat dock in the back, which made our trip especially convenient. We booked a private water taxi directly from the hotel to the airport, and it was seamless. They even offer a complimentary private boat ride to a Murano glass factory – no pressure to buy anything, and the boat waits for you to bring you back.

The service was excellent. When we experienced a noise issue on our first night (our room was located above their restaurant where music and guests were loud late into the night), I unfortunately developed a migraine and couldn’t sleep. I called the reception during the night, but they were fully booked and couldn’t move us immediately. The next morning, they relocated us to a quiet and beautiful room, which made the rest of our stay perfect.

Tip: When booking, request a room not located above the restaurant if you are sensitive to noise.

Breakfasts were delicious, the staff was attentive and professional, and the overall experience – despite the first night – was truly memorable. We would gladly stay here again.

It’s only the start of my stay but I absolutely love love love this hotel, especially the very kind staff. Laura is so helpful and has made this an incredible stay so far. The rooms are fantastic. All the staff are so friendly. Location is 10/10. The breakfast is superb!!! We are soooo happy here - thank you Laura and everyone here for all the kindness and warmth!!

First of all, you’re in Venice, so… you know… that’s an awesome starting point right there! This hotel, though, makes the whole experience better! The rooms are spotless and the breakfast is so good! But I think what sets this place apart is the staff who are warm and welcoming! I highly recommend this place!

Stayed here for 3 nights and couldn’t complain about anything.
Rooms, big got a hotel room with lots of space for clothes and in general.
Safe and wardrobe all nice. Nice size bathroom with bath and a shower.
Hotel itself is a great location for the main square or if you wanted to head to Gucci or jimmy choo.
Rooftop is a nice place to have a drink and relax.

What a charming hotel. Our room was a little small but very clean and the bathroom was perfectly acceptable. The location was excellent- you cannot choose a better spot in Venice. But the staff was even better. Absolutely fantastic in every aspect.

I loved this hotel. We had a junior suite and it was very spacious and beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful and gave us recommendations for dinner. The location is great, easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, the Grand Canal, St. Mark's Square, and gondola rides. I would definitely stay here again.
