Unfortunately the experience was disappointing compared to the description.
• Missing equipment: No ironing facilities despite being listed, no coffee machine as shown in the photos, minibar empty except for water. No cotton pads, cotton buds, conditioner, or hand sanitizer — just small soap.
• Breakfast: Very poor quality — no fresh orange juice even though the machine is there, well no juice at all ! only water, tea or coffee, no eggs, no variety at all.
• Cleanliness: Bathroom only barely clean, floor and shower joints dirty.
• Outdated amenities: The hairdryer is so old (at least 20 years) that calling it a “hairdryer” is almost a joke.
• Staff: Not welcoming or friendly, which is unusual for a hotel.
• Price transparency: Booking.com price showed taxes included, but an extra €9 city tax was charged on arrival.
For a 3-star hotel, this is far from the standard you’d expect. I’ve stayed in better hotels in Naples just a few blocks away for a lower price. This place might work if you just need a bed for one night, but don’t expect the comfort, breakfast, or service promised in the listing.

This hotel feels more like a 2-star property and is not worth the price (over €100). The staff was not particularly friendly, and the breakfast was nothing special. My biggest issue, however, was the noise — the windows are not soundproof, so the street noise was extremely loud. This seriously affected my stay and is the main reason for the lower rating.

If you want a nice small hotel in the central historic District of Naples, this is it. Service was good, room was very clean, and quiet despite being on a very busy street. Very close to Metro stop for university.

The minute we walked in you can feel the charm of the old city and culture baked into this impressive hotel. Michael greeted us at the desk with a warm welcome and made us feel at home, in English. We felt comfortable and at home by his demeanor and kindness.
Michael asked if we liked history and after an affirmative yes, he began to give the history of the hotel dating back hundreds of years having been a church. It is very beautiful.
The room was spacious, easy to control the temperature even for Americans like us that move it cold in the summer. The bathroom was huge and beautiful. It was clean, well cared for while still having old world charm.
Our only regret was staying only two nights.
The location is walking distance to the cruise port but you will want a car or can simply because of the road and traffic, it can be a little nuts in Naples, having nothing to do with the hotel of course.
Elevator is for your bags and does the job. Dont expect to fit a large family of four and bags in the elevator but this is a European hotel in the middle of a city so this is better than usual.
When we return to Naples we will rebook without even looking at another hotel. We walked everywhere but the port. There is history and culture everywhere around you. Neighborhood has graffiti which is off putting at first but it’s literally everywhere and is not like in the US where it signifies a bad area. The neighborhood is safe and vibrant at all hours.

We were charged the price of a suite for a standard double room. 240€ per night even though according to the homepage the normal price is ca. 160€. Way too expensive for a room at the highway with very loud noise from the cars the whole night. Staff and everything was nice but this honestly feels like a scam. There is no reasonable explanation for asking this price, rooms are basic at best.

A very enjoyable 3 night stay. Staff are extremely helpful and sincere. The building is historical and very well maintained. Our room was the average size for a hotel in Naples and was spotless and well laid out. Breakfast is served on the terrace, excellent coffee and a broad selection of continental breakfast items. We travelled by car and the front desk took great care in finding us safe affordable parking. Unbeatable value, location and the staff are very kind, and efficient. Highly recommend

DO NOT STAY THERE! I traveled alone as a girl in Naples and heard that it is not a safe city and booked this so called 4 stars hotel under a chain brand. However, when I arrived there, I realized that the hotel itself is merely a 2 not even close to 4 stars. The neighborhood is not particularly safe. The stay at the hotel is prepaid for 2 days and front desk confirms that when I checked in. On the day of checkout, the front desk (a different person) intimidated and demand me to pay the entire room fees again otherwise he will not allow me to leave. It was an early morning and I have a train to catch. I showed him my booking on priceline where it says everything prepaid, but he doesn't speak English at all (or pretend not). He just refuses to open the door. honestly I was really scared at the moment as a girl who travels alone in the city like Naples. I called 112 (the local 911), it took 5 calls for someone to finally pick up and talk to me. The police then talked to the front desk and he finally let me know. It was quite terrifying. Based on this experience, I do not recommend a foreigner or single girl booking this hotel just for the safety concern.

WARNING! DO NOT STAY HERE!!
After check in noticed a foul smell in the bathroom. Over next hour smell got worse. RAW sewage in shower! Front desk agent Miguel knew as soon as I went to tell him. This room should not have been used ad obviously an ongoing issue they have. Miguel would not move us to a new room. Tried putting a strong chemical to mask the smell. My children & I were already sick from smell. Miguel called Fabio, a manager. Fabio said he could not move us and had no other room for us. Basically we were stranded. Fabio said if we leave he will just refund us. So my children & I had to find and pay for a last minute hotel room. Few days later, Miguel & Fabio refused to refund what I paid them. Tried saying I “refused” their options, another lie, they had NO options for me!! Just completely dishonest people. Never experienced a worse hotel experience. Worst management ever! Hotels.com and other online booking agents should remove this company and their other hotels they have from there site. Just a nightmare.
