The only decent thing about the hotel is the location, which is very good. The rooms are very dated and in a bad state - chipped paint, ragged curtains, mattresses that don’t fit the bed frame, etc. The worst thing is that the air conditioner makes a lot of noise, which is very uncomfortable to sleep with.
I was staying as part of a large group and can confirm that most of the experiences and perspectives were fairly similar (some even raising worst complaints to the front desk with no responses).
I raised the issue of the AC with the hotel staff on the first night and said they were unable to help (even if I can see now this has been raised by several guests before and evidently there has been no interest in sorting it). The ac remote also didn’t work and the staff mentioned you would need to call the front desk every time you need to adjust it.
How this hotel has 4 stars is beyond me. Totally agree with guests that say it’s a 2 star at best. Do avoid if you can!

I wouldn't call this hotel a 4 star hotel, it is 3 star at best. the room is noisy as it faces the main square, the aircon humms constantly and the internet is so weak it is as good as useless. if you have a car you will need to park in the hotel car park, as there is no nearby parking, at a great expense 25 euro a night. The breakfast is mediocre, the orange juice is basically yellow water and sugar. the scrambled egg is dry and there is no option of beans, tomatoes or other non meat accompaniment , only bacon is available which i don't eat. for what you get, this hotel is expensive, and when coupled with 25 euros for the car per night, it makes it very expensive. we have been on the road for 3 weeks touring Italy from north to south, for value for money this is the worst hotel we have stayed in.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location. The bus from Palermo airport stops opposite outside 'Teatro Politeama Garibaldi' so it's super easy to get to. Central Palermo walkable from the hotel, or lots of buses nearby. Big, spacious room. Staff super friendly and helpful!

THIS IS NOT 4 STAR HOTEL!!! Horrible hotel experience, they pretended for 4 star hotel, the place looks more like a hostel or student dormitory- mold and dust everywhere, dark and smelly room,all night loud sounds from the heating. After my first night I decided to leave immediately, because they do not correspond to what is stated in the ad, and the next morning at nine o'clock at reception I was charged for two nights even though I didn't stay more than one. The receptionist told me that there is nothing they can do, that's their policy,I can't have my money back and they pressured me to pay because I wanted to leave as soon as possible, they offered me another room, but before that I read the reviews about the hotel and decided not to accept. The scandalous thing was after the arguments at the reception, while I was packing my suitcase, dissatisfied, the phone rang in the room to offer me breakfast, I told them that I don't want anything from this hotel

DO NOT STAY HERE. WE GIVE THIS HOTEL A 1/100. It was like a college dorm. Main entrance is below street level. AC had two choices—- freezing or OFF. There was an odor too. The restaurant— the chefs cooking— was superior. The staff was friendly and helpful too. This is not for a handicapped person either

Pretty ok but there's no actual air conditioning (it's a weird water-cooled system which barely gets the room temperature down to "not dying of heat" while the corridors actually *are* air-conditioned) and the WiFi kinda sucks; I've never been able to actually use it.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast and dinner are cheap (I never tried either) and the location is fantastic (literally right in the center of Palermo) and the rooms are pretty cheap.

Perfect hotel, staff and position. Very clean, rooms are good equipped and very large. Perfect WiFi. Nice breakfast - much better then ather hotels in Italy. Hotel has private parking that is very important for Palermo even you don't need car for Palermo visit because hotel is near city center (5 minutes walk from main city pedestrian street). A little bit noisy, but you are in city center and it is normal to have some noise.

It's very comfortable and with quality. Everything works fine and it's clean. Some problems with the parking as they took the car away (because it was full) to other parking without permission. I hope some people from the reception were more familiar

Just next to the pedestrian street which occurs on sunday night...parking is good in open area but secluded...breakfast is lovely with lots of choices
