AVOID
First off, the rooms look nothing like the pictures. While they do appear to be clean, they are completely outdated and equipped with terrible white fluorescent lights. The WiFi is so bad that we just decided to buy more data for our travel plan. And the AC? It’s basically non-existent. All of this, paired with intermittent outside/road noise will ensure you get no rest.
The only positive thing about this place is the location, which is indeed very centralized, but that does not make this place one I’d ever recommend.
This hotel is terrible and not worth more than €50 per night, at most. You’ve been warned.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with my girlfriend. First, I’d like to mention the negative aspects. The air conditioner kept turning on and off by itself, and no matter what we did, we couldn’t fix it. You might wake up in the middle of the night either sweating or freezing. Although our room was cleaned every day during our stay, our towels were only changed once — we believe they should be replaced without us having to request it. The biggest issue was the Wi-Fi; I’ve never encountered such a poor internet connection. Even downloading a small video could take several minutes. Also, we realized that having a holiday in Palermo without a car is nearly impossible, and finding parking in the city is not easy. The hotel has a parking lot, but it costs €25 per night, which we find expensive. You can look for parking around the hotel, which might be more affordable. On the positive side, the hotel has a good location. The breakfast didn’t offer much variety, but it was tasty. The rooms and the hotel overall were clean and hygienic.

The biggest let down here was the AC, or nearly complete lack there of; the unit was loud and ineffective. Even after offering other rooms, the hotel was unable to provide a room with working AC. In the end, we had a fan brought to the room, which merely blew hot air on us. The desk clerk, who immediately started to sweat upon walking into our room, was very apologetic but otherwise useless. This situation, along with street noise, slow WiFi, and bad lighting (not to mention rooms which look nothing like the photos online) made for a very regretful & disappointing stay; we ended up checking out after just one night.
For no reason would I ever recommend nor return to this hotel.

4-star hotel? 2 stars if you’re being generous. Outdated (paint chipping from window frames), sad looking, internet non-existent, AC has two settings, freezing and off, and makes high-pitch noise.

Really great, central location. Our room was really spacious and the walls were not as thin as in other Sicilian hotels. However, we had a problem with our toilet not flushing that took more than 24 hours to fix. There's a very small lobby and restaurant and they had no computer. You have to climb up and down slanted steps to get to and from the street.

The only decent thing about the hotel is the location, which is very good. The rooms are very dated and in a bad state - chipped paint, ragged curtains, mattresses that don’t fit the bed frame, etc. The worst thing is that the air conditioner makes a lot of noise, which is very uncomfortable to sleep with.
I was staying as part of a large group and can confirm that most of the experiences and perspectives were fairly similar (some even raising worst complaints to the front desk with no responses).
I raised the issue of the AC with the hotel staff on the first night and said they were unable to help (even if I can see now this has been raised by several guests before and evidently there has been no interest in sorting it). The ac remote also didn’t work and the staff mentioned you would need to call the front desk every time you need to adjust it.
How this hotel has 4 stars is beyond me. Totally agree with guests that say it’s a 2 star at best. Do avoid if you can!

I wouldn't call this hotel a 4 star hotel, it is 3 star at best. the room is noisy as it faces the main square, the aircon humms constantly and the internet is so weak it is as good as useless. if you have a car you will need to park in the hotel car park, as there is no nearby parking, at a great expense 25 euro a night. The breakfast is mediocre, the orange juice is basically yellow water and sugar. the scrambled egg is dry and there is no option of beans, tomatoes or other non meat accompaniment , only bacon is available which i don't eat. for what you get, this hotel is expensive, and when coupled with 25 euros for the car per night, it makes it very expensive. we have been on the road for 3 weeks touring Italy from north to south, for value for money this is the worst hotel we have stayed in.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location. The bus from Palermo airport stops opposite outside 'Teatro Politeama Garibaldi' so it's super easy to get to. Central Palermo walkable from the hotel, or lots of buses nearby. Big, spacious room. Staff super friendly and helpful!

THIS IS NOT 4 STAR HOTEL!!! Horrible hotel experience, they pretended for 4 star hotel, the place looks more like a hostel or student dormitory- mold and dust everywhere, dark and smelly room,all night loud sounds from the heating. After my first night I decided to leave immediately, because they do not correspond to what is stated in the ad, and the next morning at nine o'clock at reception I was charged for two nights even though I didn't stay more than one. The receptionist told me that there is nothing they can do, that's their policy,I can't have my money back and they pressured me to pay because I wanted to leave as soon as possible, they offered me another room, but before that I read the reviews about the hotel and decided not to accept. The scandalous thing was after the arguments at the reception, while I was packing my suitcase, dissatisfied, the phone rang in the room to offer me breakfast, I told them that I don't want anything from this hotel
