Upon arrival, they initially wanted to give us a room facing the corridor, after a complaint we were given another. The room is minimally equipped, two people get one chair and one glass. A kettle was not provided upon request. At breakfast, the cakes are fresh and delicious. Italian coffee and cappuccino are also available upon request. The restaurant and bar staff are friendly and helpful.
Good experience overall. Fine breakfast, ok location, parking options are there, staff is nice and communicative, can't complain about anything really. We had a nice experience.
Review 10/2024 with photos - convenient accommodation for late arrival (late check-in) in Palermo : 24h open reception - it's a conference center, mainly business orientated, with basic rooms & limited decorations/facilicities - not a "palace" and not "4 star" - 8eur/pers breakfast; 10eur carpark; 4eur/pers/night city tax) - room WIFI not suitable for work or private use - free parking on the...
Rooms were cleaned well every day but fridge and air conditioning didn’t work. Definitely not 4 stars as the breakfast was also not great. Location is not bad, train station and buses nearby
Rooms were a good size. Beds were comfortable. Location was a bit remote. Rooms were clean, but hallways could have been vacuumed.
it was nice we hope to return, all in the name of relaxation we had fun, kind and cheerful staff I thank Mrs Roberta Matranga on floor number 7, thoughtful and kind with dedication to her work. Greetings to the lady who cleaned my room with such dedication , kind, cheerful and helpful.

First of all: The staff is lovely !!! Warm, welcoming, friendly, supportive - cute as a button. As it should be. Thank you very much for that! The hotel is lovely, but old. Needs to be updated. AC isn’t working properly. The swimming pool is nice but the area around it is without any love and interior taste. The gym itself is a real joke, you don’t need to try it ;) The rooms are very different -...
The hotel's price is very good, but don’t expect clean rooms or comfortable beds. The air conditioning is extremely dirty, which created a “snow of dust” in the room. We found a sock from the previous guest under the bed. The mattress was also ripped and even had a blood stain, and huge “wholes” from usage. My mother had to clean the room herself as I had a terrible allergy to the dust. On the other...
BEWARE OF BAD REVIEWS OF THIS HOTEL! This hotel is fine! The staff are friendly and welcoming - my room on the 3rd floor was very good and the restaurant was great! The barman makes a lovely Spritz and everything was fine. Please ignore the bad reviews!!!!!
Well, what can I say, my family lives in Palermo and I come here often. I’ve never thought of staying in this hotel, but I have to say that I am having a wonderful time here, it’s quiet. The rooms are big and I am very pleased with the breakfast and the services. yes, it’s not extremely close to the town centre of Palermo but, most people here have Cars to move around or you can take a short taxi ride...
The hotel is very nice and the breakfast is delicious with a lot of diversity. However the location is really bad. The neighborhood is very deplorable. You need to take a bus to look a place for eating. Buses are around 20 minutes but you must wait like 15 minutes for each bus.
Great hotel with Amazing views from the 14th floor, dining food was nice and sea view from my room was amazing. Airport bought phone adapter charger did not fit the plugs in the room, so had to buy oe at a local store which was fine and the locals were very friendly I found. Location is only 15 minutes walk from train station & coach station / bus station and from the main town, in which there are...

My experience with this hotel was wonderful: the professional staff worked well with our group. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was delicious, good variety of local cuisine and traditional foods. The location of the hotel worked well for our group.
An ideal stopover before boarding the ferry. The hotel itself exceeded my expectations but the area is not that good with run down buildings and homeless people around. The car park seemed safe and secure and it was an easy walk into the historic centres of the town We were upgraded from a Superior Room to a Suite which was very nice and the reception staff were really helpful when my partner slipped...
If you are planning a vacation in Palermo, I recommend the Ibis Style Palermo President. We had a wonderful week here. (112 rooms.) They are in a good location. With friendly, smiling service. (Reception, cleaning, breakfast and dinner service). Breakfast and dinner were perfect and of very good quality. The 7th floor offers a wonderful view of the harbor. In the bar they make very delicious cocktails...
Spacious, clean room with central location for exploring Palermo. On site parking and they let you stow your luggage pre and post checkout and check in. Breakfast on site with many refreshing options such as eggs, fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, caffè. Only downside is the room smelled like smoke on and off during the stay.
We only stayed overnight as we were going to use the ferry over to Cagliari the next morning. Ideal as it's just across Palermo port. Had a good experience. Staff couldn't be more helpful.
When embarking or dissembarking in Palermo you can easily deposit your luggage here or book a room when you have more luggages with you :) Great service at the desk, fresh and cold drinks avvailable

We were slightly apprehensive about booking this hotel due to some negative reviews, but we decided to book it for a night and were pleasantly surprised by the service, room, and breakfast. There was plenty of free parking outside the hotel, with an option for paid parking as well. There is no kettle in the room. However, upon request they will provide you with one, along with tea bags and coffee.
This is one of the few hotels in Europe where the service is actually impeccable! The rooms are clean. The location is fabulous - walking distance from the city center and the views from the rooms are amazing. Special mention to Lucca at the reception who made the check in process very smooth and was extremely welcoming hence making us excited for the stay. The staff are always eager to please and...
Really nice experience came here 2 times already only comment I can make is that even though the booking app says taxes included when you do the check out they still charge you like 20 euros extra from “city taxes”. And remember to put on the door the “do not disturb sign” because the next morning the house keeping will open the door without even knowing ( she came in the morning like 3 times even...
Staying at Hotel NH Palermo is a pleasure. All of the staff is incredibly friendly. The breakfast spread was impressive and very well done. They were very accommodating and patient. Even as an American using Google translate for communicating a severe tree nut allergy.
Great stay at NH Palermo - got upgraded to a bigger room which was a nice touch! Breakfast buffet was plentiful of nice options. Parking onsite was very helpful as we hired a car from Palermo airport. All the staff was very nice! It is also well located with a nice short walk into the city centre. Would recommend for your next stay in Palermo.
I stayed here for 6 nights and it was fabulous. The hotel I cannot fault, I'd highly recommend it for location and quality. The pool and jacuzzi is an added bonus in the city and is spacious, clean and not over crowded. You have to join Mr motivator for his poolathon, exercises in the pool, he is fab and so enjoyable to listen to. Two people stood out, Mateo and Claudia M. Both waiters provided...

Located near the Bank of Sicily, when I was there there were army men because a member of Parliament lives in that road. Very nice luxury hotel adapted to the building that was before: a former Chiostro (Monk's convent). Very close to several restaurants and gelati places. Very close to many monuments, Churches, theaters,.
Great building or complex. This grand hotel consists of 3 former palaces. And there are many marvellous dreams to discover inside. The cool inner courtyard is wonderful on hot summer days. In the evening there is a pianist and very pleasant piano music for the aperitivo, live bar music. Very fair prices for wines and drinks. It's worth stopping here for a short break and refreshment when walking through...
Very nice hotel. Excellent air conditioning. No complaints. Yes, the beds are quite firm but that didn't bother me.
Mattress was very hard. AC was inoperable. WiFi was very poor. Reception was very professional and the building itself is steeped in heritage. It’s a true hit or miss.
This is a very good hotel right in the heart of Palermo’s historic district! Plenty of places to walk around and discover or just stay at the hotel for dinner and a drink.
Great Location! Nice large room (double delux) No noise Mattress is quite firm, we had to ask for 2 toppers. Breakfast ok.

Gorgeous, full of history, friendly staff. Facilities a little old but to be expected and part of the charm. Out of town so quieter.
Magnificent old hotel. The shuttle services that is provided is great. No searching for taxi. Staff is very accommodating and friendly.
Villa Igiea lies a couple of miles outside of the centre of Palermo but the regular free shuttle service means you don’t have to spend money on taxis or track down somewhere to buy a bus ticket. The hotel is an oasis. It has everything you need to relax and unwind. The breakfast is superb offering cooked food (Italian sausage, bacon, eggs etc), cold meats, salad, pastries and more pastries, fresh fruit...
It's a must to treat yourself and enjoy the magic in the best hotel in all the city! Enjoy Palermo and Sicily, the key of the Mediterranean as Goethe said.
The hotel is a historic and interesting old building with art noveau styling throughout. Our room was large, had hardwood floors, and well furnished. Though opulent the hotel is showing wear around the edges and could use some rehabbing. Service was attentive, if understaffed, likely due to the fact we visited in the off season. Hotel is not walking distance to the tourist attractions in Palermo.
Had a wonderful 5 night stay at Villa Igiea which was a relaxing end to our Italian honeymoon. We checked in right at the end of their busy season so they were no longer offering some of the activities and city shuttle I had read about. However Salvo and Alessia really went above and beyond to help us plan a few things we wanted to do. The bar is beautiful and Roberto was great! They have great...

Beautiful and elegant hotel right in the centre of historic Palermo - literally a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of the restaurants and bars. Good continental breakfast selection. Our bedroom was comfortable and modern, and very clean. Highly recommend if you want to be at the heart of everything.
best location to be in palermo if u are a tourist. room was big, very modern and functional and clean. nice bathroom. not very bright as it was facing inner courtyard where on the ground floor theres their restaurant, so was bit noisy till around midnight but not a major issue at all. professional staff. they take care of your car.
Very nice and beautiful spot. Definitely worth a visit. We visited this site more than once. Beautiful beautiful place, the kids can run around, awesome atmosphere and a great place to grab a drink, chill and enjoy life. This spot really shows the historical and impressive Italian art. Would recommend that you go check out this spot! It's a must! Very beautiful!
This hotel located in a very busy and good area. Also the size of the hotel is medium and feel always cosy. In the rooms build in airconditioners .
We enjoyed two hours in the spa. The swimming pool is large and relaxing. The girls for the massage were very professional.

Loved staying here. It is located a walking distance from landmarks, the staff are very nice, discreet and helpful. The food is good, the coffee, of course, is any coffee lover's dream. And the rooms are very clean.
Rooms were clean, small.....breakfast good, front desk helpful with directions...good location for tourist area.. We had a great stay at Brunaccini! The room was very nice, and the staff were helpful! Also, because of the location it is easy to enjoy historical Palermo and its markets!
This is a nice spot with a close proximity to the four corners area and the market. The area around it is fine and is easily walkable. My major concern is how hard the beds are, the management needs to invest in something softer.
Poor location in an area difficult to access and in a bed neighborhood. The four stars do not reflect its quality.
The hotel is in a decent location. Right next to ballaro market and within walking distance to most restaurants etc. For a hotel that claims to be luxury it lacks a lot of features that I would expect in a luxury hotel. The room is extremely nice and well furnished with a pretty comfortable mattress. Exquisite personnel. It is located in a very central area of Palermo, therefore I would strongly raccomend it for visiting the city.
The hotel was conveniently locate in a nice area of central Palermo. Staff at reception was very nice and helpful. Our room on the third floor was "traditional Sicilian" style, to put it politely. Very clean hotel. Cheap. Friendly staff. Wonderful and lavish breakfast. Close to the center of the town. I strongly recommend this hotel
It is well located, at convenient place, near the old city center. The hotel itself is a bit dated. Very nice and polite staff.
Small but friendly hotel in the center of Palermo. Convenient to reach. Two sets of stairs at the entrance.

The building itself showed some cracks and could do with some maintenance, but the room was spotless and the room was big and had airconditioning. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Reasonable rooms and facility compared the pricing but I found the front desk staff might be more friendly then they were since I never seen they smiled once. There were plenty of activity and restaurant around. We found statue of liberty and bowling place nearby. I heard first floor rooms are more comfortable then others.
Are there for a conference. However, it is located in the central point of the city, to the shoulders of via libertà, well served by public transport urban and suburban airports, both of Palermo, Trapani. Affordable prices

Suggestive aperitif in the splendid setting of one of the historic hotels of the city, recently reopened!
Stayed here for three nights and loved every minute of it. Perfect central location, rooms are brand new and completely updated, cleaning staff’s attention to detail is immaculate, and the breakfast was delicious. This is a stunning hotel and we enjoyed our stay very much!
Great location and it is easy to see that this was once a pinnacle of luxury. Despite efforts to keep the hotel up to its former glory, there are noticeable signs of aging. That aside, the rooms were very clean and spacious, the staff friendly and accommodating and breakfast in an opulent ball room felt quite luxurious.
It was a good location, food at the restaurant was relatively good. (Though you don't get to chose the food so it was hit or miss in that regard) Elevators made funny noises, scared a few patrons. Shower did not drain properly, but in many ways beat other local hotels. Average. Purely average minus the beautiful lobby.
Gorgeous hotel, and pleasant staff. I was disappointed however to find that women are charged more than men for the laundry service. Quite why it should be more expensive to place a female item of clothing into a washing machine than a male one escapes me, and this is why I have deducted one star.
Beautiful hotel with spirit, but the interiors and comfort lags behind the near hotels in the area. Rooms, TV and A/C must definitely get a rewamp.

It was tiny, with barely any excuse at decoration and peeling paint. The bathroom was also very small and the shower had barely any room to move in.
Magnificent place, based on the ancient Palazzo Tarallo, whose structure is preserved. 18th century palace, listed as a UNESCO world heritage site, in the heart of Palermo, unique atmosphere, marble staircases, chandeliers and breathtaking views of the roof terrace. A great experience. PS: I generally only rate places that deserve 5 stars.
