Very comfortable hotel, cheerful and helpful staff especially Martina and Leo in the restaurant. Great pool spoiled by very loud pop music in the poolside seating area. Overall a very good stay, thank you
Paolo was fantastic - he helped us while sitting by the pool and also in the evening with cocktails. The hotel is a perfect location, clean and safe. Their food is also fresh and delicious
The hotel has beautiful views of the sea and the breakfast is a large variety of fruit, pastries, eggs, and breakfast meats
There are a few good things about the hotel, though, such as the location, the pool, and the friendliness of the staff
Paolo, a bartender at the NH Hotel is amazing. He was attentive to our needs from the moment we arrived and until we left
Constantino makes an amazing espresso martini as well, one of the best we have ever had!

We actually drove longer distances outside Palermo with our rental car and walked or took the bus to the centre. The swimming pool is located on the roof, but it was exceptionally small sized
The hotel's breakfast is served on the 14th floor, which is a bit difficult to reach by lift at breakfast time, but the breakfast itself is tasty and extensive, including scrambled eggs and fried bacon
The hotel is located east of Palermo city centre and next to a large truck terminal, but it is still quite easy to walk to Palermo city centre or even take the bus from here
The hotel is clearly old and looks a bit shabby from the outside, but at least our room was very clean and functional, with adjustable air conditioning
I would recommend this hotel to those travelling by car as it offers good value for money (but don't expect the latest luxury)
After reading some of the reviews of the hotel, I was dreading checking in. Yes, the hotel is a bit out of the way, in quite a run down area but Ubers and taxis were reasonably cheap

Our room had the dreamiest view, and the whole vibe of the hotel is so peaceful and elegant. The pool area and gardens are stunning too—we spent hours just relaxing there
We had a wonderful stay at Villa Igea. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was equally impressive. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our visit
They anticipated our every need—bringing water and towels without us even asking—and they made getting our car seamless
One small detail I noticed, however, was that for a hotel in this price range, you expect everything to be perfect
One particular experience that was above and beyond was when Phillip, a member of the front desk staff, brought his personal backgammon set for us to play after my husband had expressed interest in finding a board in town and playing
The garden could have been better maintained some of the palm trees looked quite dry and the greenery wasn’t as neatly trimmed as you’d expect. That said, these were minor issues in an otherwise fantastic experience

Nice views over the harbor, covetable and spacious - wry modern feel! Service staff were all excellent providing great helpful tips and service. Breakfast on level 7 was nice with plenty of options
Perfect place to stay in Palermo historical center. Close to most attractions. Staff very friendly and nice. Room spacious and clean. Good breakfast. Recommended
Enjoyed a very nice stay at the Ibis, was provided a brand new renovated room
Nice hotel with good roomy rooms. The view was to the new port which was okay, but not as beautiful. Excellent breakfast and service.
All good except for the staff at breakfast. Other than 1 server….unfriendly and rude.
Helped myself to gluten free products in a drawer and got scolded for it! But the morning before the other server said to help myself.
The staff was very friendly and the service was very good, but the breakfast hasn’t raised up to the expectations and the hotel deserves at most a 3 star rating

Our room was okay, but nothing special. That might be because we had one of the older, unrenovated rooms. As we passed by other rooms, we noticed that many of them had already been modernized and looked much nicer
Lovely staff who are more than happy to assist, the room was nice and basic with a very comfortable bed.
The only let down was a slightly weak aircon but that can be forgiven.
Definitely would stay here again.
Warm helpful staff, comfortable beds, wonderful breakfast. Beautiful location, has an elevator which is helpful. In walking distance to the Capo Mercato, Archeological Museum. Easy to meet tour guides nearby.
I could not have chosen a better hotel. So far I have walked to some of the best attractions and eating places in this bustling capital city, all an easy pace away. Yet the hotel is in a side street, an oasis of calm
In the evening, it’s lovely to relax on the rooftop terrace (note: no bar or service there) and unwind after a day in the city
Great location to explore palermo on foot and exceptional staff. Recommend taking the time to have some drinks on the rooftop terrace at night or taking a coffee up in the morning. The room was spacious, clean and tidy

Lovely venue within helpful and assisting staff. The community are all helpful and will assist where possible with the language barrier. Food is excellent
Friendly, well-organised with a swimming pool. Rooms very spacious and clean as are the bathrooms. 20 m from one of the most beautiful beaches of Italy where the sea is crystal clear.
Everything was very clean. The breakfast was continental and in the very pleasant garden. The stuff was excellent. I have never met such a attentive and helpful stuff. Carla, you are the best!!!! 🥰🥰
Very clean, very close to the beach, private beach, towels, salty breakfast VERY ATTENTIVE STUFF
Beautiful garden, pool with free towels, private beach access with sunbeds and umbrellas. Near many restaurants, bus stop to Palermo. Rooms towards the sea with a balcony and much better than on the road
Pool was unfortunately empty of water, so we had to get vouchers for the private beach daily

Also, there is a bus stop outside the hotel that can get you to the city centre or Mondelo beach
The location is a little remote but not bad. Breakfast was good. As for the bathtub, the stopper was bad because I don't usually use it. Basic cleanliness is also good. I spent four days comfortably.
Nice hotel in Palmero, close to the 107 bus stop that takes you into the center (trip takes about 30 minutes)
The hotel was big and the room was clean with fresh bedding and towels
Good experience overall. Fine breakfast, ok location, parking options are there, staff is nice and communicative, can't complain about anything really. We had a nice experience.
WiFi was good and it was quiet at night,
Nice rooftop terrace with bar
There are some nice local restaurants close
I arrived with a broken lock on my bag and the hotel staff helped me fix it! They were really helpful and friendly

Great hotel & friendly staff! Stayed here with my husband & 2 kids (10 & 8) and we loved it. Rooms were clean and the hotel was very nice. We had the best sleep as the rooms are nice and dark and the beds were very comfy
My kids loved the pool when the afternoons were too hot to walk around & we wanted to cool off before heading out again. We ended up having breakfast a couple of mornings and it was excellent
Wonderful room, super clean, comfortable bed, perfect pillows. Reception staff super friendly and very helpful they answer the reception phone 1 seconds. Big variety for breakfast, coffee fantastic as always
My stay was amazing right when I walked into the door. Amazing atmosphere amazing room with a balcony. Breakfast was something Ive never seen before. The front desk is extremely helpful especially Augosto
The cleanliness of this hotel superb and most importantly the service is impeccable! We’ve especially have enjoyed the breakfast staff who had served our needs during our stay here at this hotel

We felt very welcome and would recommend this hotel to everyone who is planning to stay in Palermo!
Built in the past maybe by 50 years but very clean and well maintained. Good breakfast was part of my package. Location is on Via Liberta which is chic section of the urban metropolis that is Palermo
This is a really nice hotel with lots of style. the rooms a nicely furnished clean and comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly. We particularly liked the restaurant, we arrived at 9
Very good and user friendly hotel although certain faucets in the BR need looking to. However enjoyed the stay. Thank you.

This hotel is located in the center of Palermo. The elevator is also old-fashioned and there is no parking. The waiter recommended outdoor parking, which costs a higher fee of 20 euros a night. Breakfast was average.
I really like the 24-hour front desk here. They are very welcoming and helpful. The room is the best room in this price range. The picture shows the food court which is a 1-minute walk away.
The moment I entered the room I could smell a little bit of cigarette, but when I switch on the aircon, the smell disappeared. The room, the bedsheets and the towels were really clean
The room is clean, there is a good air conditioner, the Wi-Fi works. There is a gas water heater in the bathroom, so you won't be able to wash for a long time under a hot shower
The only problem was that I could hear people going in and out the room and it’s super loud. My stay include breakfast, but I think it could do better specially the eggs
I went a few months ago and my experience was great. The staff was super friendly and the hotel very cozy. The location was perfect, I could walk everywhere.

Spent 4 nights here in March, 2025. We cannot praise the staff enough - they were all excellent. The reception staff on arrival, and throughout were extremely helpful
Another big thank you to the domestic staff - the initial pillows were a little wooly; however, this was soon sorted and firmer pillows were sorted
We couldn't find a fault - not that we looked, because with service like we received, finding fault was the last thing in our minds
Although my wife wanted to practise her Italian, I was able to converse clearly in English with all staff members encountered
Whether it was prepping our arrival or helping with onward travel arrangements, nothing was a problem or a chore to them
Top choice among budget hotels 😍 Big thanks to Giacomo and Luca who were attentive to every single detail

Nice place to stay in walking distance of most places to see and many restaurants.
Gigantic rooms, good service, polite staff, good location. Cons- breakfast not biggest choice, parking hard to find, noise on the ceiling from the next level.
Good hotel. Big rooms. Central. Helpful staff
We enjoyed our two nights. The room was very spacious. David at the front desk was so friendly and very helpful along with all the staff. Breakfast was letdown though. With a small selection.
Over size, clean rooms with free wi-fi. Breakfast room with Gluten Free options. Location is only downside in a very narrow street & not a great deal of variety of restaurants nearby
Decent rooms, awesome location! I slept on a third extra bed, which was way too short for me, but it was decently comfy. The room itself was big and clean

Excellent hotel in a central location. Quite large superior room and excellent breakfast
Nice and correct personell, perfect breakfast. There was no parking to offer at the moment. That means problem..
Great experience, the staff was kind, breakfast quite rich, only flaw there is not much choice for lactose intolerance, only some biscuits and jams!
The rooms are quite clean, the towels are changed every day!
Great location and affordable price. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast with cannoli and brioche. Some light bulbs in my room were not working and the bed mattress with springs was not the best
Great air conditioning system, comfortable bed, size of the room also nice. The greatest advantage of this place is its central position, in between Teatro Massimo and Politeama

Can’t believe how comfortable we felt at this hotel. They were so helpful and accommodating. The included breakfast was very yummy and included a cappuccino

Kind, helpful staff, beautiful clean affordable room, convenient location. Everything I needed for a beautiful visit to Sicily!
I stayed in this hotel for one night with breakfast. Excellent proximity to the port and therefore excellent for those like me who arrived by ship. An important element that is not common is the built internal parking
Little out of main tourist area but good restaurants in the same block and upscale shopping (Hermes, Gucci etc) about 4 blocks away. Close to the port if you’re doing the ferry
He was very patient with questions, gave very detailed and accurate directions and was always a smiling face when we came in. His associate, Magdalena was equally helpful

A very clean, cosy and simple hotel right in the old town of Palermo - friendly personnel, basic breakfast. I enjoyed my stay in May 2019 and recommend the hotel to everyone who does not need a sophisticated standard.
I stayed here for almost one month in July 2017. The family that owns this Hotel made it feel like home to me. My room was kept clean and was allowed to park my bici in their parking garage

The room/bed/elevator/parking was comfortable. The staff was nice and friendly. At the set dinner, it would have been better to have 3 dishes to choose from per category
If there had always been three types (pork/beef, chicken, fish)
The breakfast was lacking in vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers), and it would have been better to have a larger selection of savory foods (meat, cheese)
Fantastic breakfast buffet. Clean room. Friendly reception. Spacious, clean room.
Thanks, great service and nice breakfast

Central, but quiet because they are immersed in the English garden. Very good welcome and good breakfast. The suite is very comfortable, a mini apartment with a terrace and jacuzzi. It is really worth the money spent.
The hotel is in a great location in elegant v. of Liberty. Spacious and comfortable room. Poor breakfast and almost absence of parking are the two aspects a little lacking in a situation of good quality for other aspects

It is also super close to Fontana Pretoria, a beautiful fountain where you have free wifi.
Par our we were obedient and we have done very well: it was an excellent guide, even without moving from the reception!
The hotel is simple, centrally located and the staff is always friendly and ready to offer advice (especially gastronomic)
Do not expect frills: the rooms are comfortable, but essential. The location is very strategic: from the Four Songs you can reach on foot the main tourist destinations in palermo

Greatly located just in the heart of old Palermo, and very quiet in the same time, serving very tasty breakfasts for all needs, spacious room (we opted for privilege one), and great views: see and mountain just in opposite directions
Our story: We were on a cruise when we had an emergency requiring my wife to be hospitalized. Our port agent set us up in this hotel. The reception was welcoming and sympathetic
Great check-in experience despite late arrival. Front desk is very friendly. Valet service worked super well. Room is very nice and spacious. Looking forward to more.
We had to switch rooms to accommodate incoming guests and they made the transfer easy and moved out luggage. A big surprise was the restaurant
Our dinners were very good and the chef surprised us with a special treat each day. The service and food is exceptional

This is truly a remarkable hotel and you will agree once you’ve read through my comment. And yes, I too never comment unless it’s extremely good/bad. First, the interiors of this hotel are way better than the photos
I initially thought the photos were tacky for my taste but when I arrived, the high ceilings and ornate decor were classically beautiful and everything was immaculately clean
I cannot recommend this hotel enough! We booked several rooms in the Wagner for my wedding (for both myself and wedding guests) over the course of a week, and the stay was truly impeccable
I had a massage during my stay. This massage was the highlight of my time in the hotel. Laura was exceptionally skillful and gave me the most intuitive and relaxing massage
The receptionists knew my face and room number from day 1. My luggage was delayed and the staff was quick to coordinate with the airport and notify me of any updates
Our family enjoyed 3 nights at this fabulous hotel. Love the location, as it was within walking distance to many of the areas we visited. The breakfast was outstanding and the rooms were spacious

Parking is a bit expensive, 15 euros a day, there is an underground parking lot next to the hotel, but it is better to have it than not. The hotel decoration is a bit old, but it is relatively clean
The hotel was also generous enough to provide us with an early check-in, which was helpful after our long haul journey from India. Our room could comfortably accommodate our family of three and was kept neat and tidy
The service is very good. It's a bit fried on the main road! The restaurant next to it is good! The car to the airport was well arranged and picked up at 3 am!

Pretty ok but there's no actual air conditioning (it's a weird water-cooled system which barely gets the room temperature down to "not dying of heat" while the corridors actually *are* air-conditioned) and the WiFi kinda sucks; I've never been able to actually use it
Great location.. Nice and clean
Lovely hotel in an excellent location. The bus from Palermo airport stops opposite outside 'Teatro Politeama Garibaldi' so it's super easy to get to. Central Palermo walkable from the hotel, or lots of buses nearby
The staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast and dinner are cheap (I never tried either) and the location is fantastic (literally right in the center of Palermo) and the rooms are pretty cheap
