Hotels on first line in Palermo

We actually drove longer distances outside Palermo with our rental car and walked or took the bus to the centre. The swimming pool is located on the roof, but it was exceptionally small sized

The hotel's breakfast is served on the 14th floor, which is a bit difficult to reach by lift at breakfast time, but the breakfast itself is tasty and extensive, including scrambled eggs and fried bacon

The hotel is located east of Palermo city centre and next to a large truck terminal, but it is still quite easy to walk to Palermo city centre or even take the bus from here

The hotel is clearly old and looks a bit shabby from the outside, but at least our room was very clean and functional, with adjustable air conditioning

I would recommend this hotel to those travelling by car as it offers good value for money (but don't expect the latest luxury)

After reading some of the reviews of the hotel, I was dreading checking in. Yes, the hotel is a bit out of the way, in quite a run down area but Ubers and taxis were reasonably cheap

Very comfortable hotel, cheerful and helpful staff especially Martina and Leo in the restaurant. Great pool spoiled by very loud pop music in the poolside seating area. Overall a very good stay, thank you

Paolo was fantastic - he helped us while sitting by the pool and also in the evening with cocktails. The hotel is a perfect location, clean and safe. Their food is also fresh and delicious

The hotel has beautiful views of the sea and the breakfast is a large variety of fruit, pastries, eggs, and breakfast meats

Located near the Bank of Sicily, when I was there there were army men because a member of Parliament lives in that road. Very nice luxury hotel adapted to the building that was before: a former Chiostro (Monk's convent)

It is located exactly at the center of Palermo ancient city. It is very convenient to walk to all main sightseeing sites and the central train station. The room I stay is 339, and it has a very nice balcony

We requested a room on the higher floors but got one which was on the first floor and quite noisy. Still, probably this is the best hotel in Palermo, but there’s room to really improve things for the guests

So when you come to Palermo during the rainy season at the end of the year and the beginning of the year, don't stay in room 106

The service staff is enthusiastic and has a good attitude. There is a parking service for 50 euros a day. The price/performance ratio is good. The hotel restaurant is very beautiful. The service is top-notch in Europe

Great, historical hotel in a nice location. Hotel clearly needs maintenance. The door of our restaurant couldn’t be closed so very unpleasant. Breakfast was good, although preferred to have more savory options

Palermo is the last stop of our entire trip to Sicily. Palermo is particularly suitable as a transit point to other attractions on the island

A good choice for a few days in Palermo. Excellent location and service. Simple and adequate facilities.

The rooms are big but very old. Even the sockets are old and it wasn't easy to find a spot to charge the phone. The rooms are clean but except for some shampoo the hotel doesn't provide anything

Not badly located, close to the central station, opposite a supermarket and Lidl. It's a pity there is no refrigerator in the room. Otherwise everything is fine

Our room was okay, but nothing special. That might be because we had one of the older, unrenovated rooms. As we passed by other rooms, we noticed that many of them had already been modernized and looked much nicer

Lovely staff who are more than happy to assist, the room was nice and basic with a very comfortable bed. The only let down was a slightly weak aircon but that can be forgiven. Definitely would stay here again.

Great location to explore palermo on foot and exceptional staff. Recommend taking the time to have some drinks on the rooftop terrace at night or taking a coffee up in the morning. The room was spacious, clean and tidy

We biked the Sicily Divide; starting and ending in Palermo. Our bike bags were stored here which really helped with our logistics. We want to bring the wonderful hosts with us for the rest of our trip

Perfect breakfasts, every morning we were suprized by a different meal. minimum distance from the centre, we were situated next to the Teatro. Reccomend if you are visiting Palermo and its wide area!

Close to the main attractions, the parking and the market. Thousands of restaurants and taverns for every taste. Wonderful Responsive and polite staff. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart

Our stay at Ai Vicere was absolutely excellent. Rooms were modern and clean, small yet comfortable. The staff were excellent with service, incredibly friendly. Breakfast was always very good

Kitchen dining area, is shared with one other room (but we had it to ourselves)! Though I wouldn't see this an issue. Owner was lovely & so helpful. showed us where to go for bars. Everything walkable from here

Nice balcony overlooking the marina. but not noisy until about 6am (bring earplugs if you aren't used to traffic). Really enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Nice breakfast rolls/biscuits/juice etc

Roberto was super nice, he met us late at night after some delays in the airport and set up everything for us, including breakfast (and the fridge was always full of fruit and snacks)

First of all, the location is amazing. Near the port (great views) and around the corner to cool bars and restaurants (but it's really quiet)

wow, Palermo and the mountains right in front of us, the Duomo, Teatro Massimo, countless church domes, Quattro Canti, the lively streets below! The suite had a kitchenette, a large shower in the bathroom, a large double bunk bed, roomy wardrobe, large table and chairs, lampshades for soft lighting

Pietro is a very friendly host with lots of good humour. The room was good, the highlight being the balcony which had views down the road to the sea and mountains

Wow! Just wow! We had the junior suite, at a reasonable price. We entered the building and took the quick lift up to 6th floor. We entered a common space, very welcoming, then down the corridor to our suite

Mr Pietro, who owns the place is an amazing person, an inspiration, so energetic and so happy to help us find everything we could wish for!! He has literally been like a tour guide for us, he suggested many places and restaurants, cafes, shops, and told us so many stories about Sicily! We travel...

Perfect Central location in best part of Palermo. Quaint old lift gets you up to 6th floor. Suite has an incredible view. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Very reasonably priced. Very helpful host.

Very clean and tidy inside, cool atmosphere. I got a big room with a balcony that has a fantastic view. The owner Luca is a lovely person, very friendly and helpful. I regret I could stay in Palermo only 1 night

Excellent b&b with The only flaw of the shared bathroom but for a few nights it's fine because it is located in a fantastic central area full of history of the great and beautiful Palermo.

In order not to disturb the other guests already in the rooms, he gave me a map of the city and recommended the places to visit and the routes to take, let's say "safer"

All good except for the staff at breakfast. Other than 1 server….unfriendly and rude. Helped myself to gluten free products in a drawer and got scolded for it! But the morning before the other server said to help myself.
