The service staff were excellent. Breakfast was delicious every morning. The room could have been clean. There was black stuff coming out of the tiles when I was showering. I was here for business, usually only back in the room after working hours, and the room met my basic needs.
Fantastic facility, very kind and knowledgeable staff. My compliments to everyone. Excellent breakfast. When we return to Palermo, we will return. Thank you...
Despite some negative comments, perhaps from people who stayed on the first floor, we were very happy with our stay at this hotel. The wait staff was extremely friendly, the breakfast was excellent, the room was clean, and the parking was free.
The only downside was the poor soundproofing in the rooms, but it was completely quiet after 11 p.m.
Food very basic, toilet makes a loud noise when you flush, you could hear people next door. Nice place overall, very clean, i would recommend as beds are very comfortable and its great if you are going with friends or on a school trip.
This place is simple/basic but all is clean and works properly. The mattress is comfortable. They offer a fair breakfast.
The hotel is a bit dated but the staff is very kind and helpful, the location is slightly off-centre but the breakfast is rather poor especially in the savoury section

My friend and I booked this hotel without really knowing what to expect – but honestly, it completely exceeded our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, which gave us two double beds, a balcony, and everything we could possibly need. The room was spotless, spacious, and really comfortable. The location is absolutely ideal – right in the heart of Palermo, near...
We had a reasonable stay in hotel tonic, and we have no major complaints. Our room seemed pretty small compared to the other rooms in the hotel, at least those that we were able to see whilst their doors were open and the rooms being cleaned. Good: Location - walking distance to harbour and the historic centre, served well by local buses, and the airport shuttle bus stops nearby. We were able to...
Always a confirmation of a hotel in the historic center of Palermo, excellent value for money, breakfast could be improved
This hotel is conveniently located near the city center of Palermo. The rooms were very small, extremely outdated, and somewhat dark. The bathroom and rooms were very clean. If you are looking for just a place to sleep at a good price, it offers great value. The breakfast was amazing and the staff, helpful and accommodating.
Good location is about the only great thing about it. Staff were friendly. Room is dated and so was the bed. Loud noises from street.
The structure is a bit old and the cleaning is just sufficient... Many things to review

Great place in walking Distance to Palermo centre, very clean and nice people
Cheap room, but needs updating, breakfast not very varied
The hotel has its own atmosphere - beautiful decor. Very good location - you can walk everywhere, to the main attractions of the city, to the center, to restaurants. Beware of the micro lift - something different. The breakfast is very good - a large selection of sweet snacks (typically Italian), but there is also bread, cold cuts and cheese. For me, this hotel is a hit. I recommend it
It's very close to the bus stop from the airport, so it's convenient …
You can enjoy bars, restaurants, shopping districts and sightseeing spots within a few minutes walk from the hotel.
Hotel staff is kind and friendly.…
This is a lovely boutique hotel.
There is a park in front of the hotel, so the view from the window is also good.
The hotel is very comfortable, the rooms are beautiful and the staff is friendly and helpful. It is placed near the center and near restaurants with pedestrian areas. We had a good time and good value for money

I really like the 24-hour front desk here. They are very welcoming and helpful. The room is the best room in this price range. The picture shows the food court which is a 1-minute walk away.
I went a few months ago and my experience was great. The staff was super friendly and the hotel very cozy. The location was perfect, I could walk everywhere.
The room is clean, there is a good air conditioner, the Wi-Fi works. There is a gas water heater in the bathroom, so you won't be able to wash for a long time under a hot shower
This hotel is located in the center of Palermo. The elevator is also old-fashioned and there is no parking. The waiter recommended outdoor parking, which costs a higher fee of 20 euros a night. Breakfast was average.
Basique hôtel room, quite big but noisy (mostly coming from the corridors). Stayed there for a night so it was good and conveniently located
The moment I entered the room I could smell a little bit of cigarette, but when I switch on the aircon, the smell disappeared. The room, the bedsheets and the towels were really clean. The only problem was that I could hear people going in and out the room and it’s super loud.
My stay include breakfast, but I think it could do better specially the eggs. And the coffee machine only provided espresso...

minutes walk to train station and Palermo center, supermarket located in opposite street.
A good choice for a few days in Palermo. Excellent location and service. Simple and adequate facilities.
Not badly located, close to the central station, opposite a supermarket and Lidl. It's a pity there is no refrigerator in the room. Otherwise everything is fine
Excellent hotel, location near Palermo station
The rooms are big but very old. Even the sockets are old and it wasn't easy to find a spot to charge the phone. The rooms are clean but except for some shampoo the hotel doesn't provide anything.
The wifi is also bad, but it's very close to everything we wanted to see.

Warm helpful staff, comfortable beds, wonderful breakfast. Beautiful location, has an elevator which is helpful. In walking distance to the Capo Mercato, Archeological Museum. Easy to meet tour guides nearby.
The hotel is very conveniently located — it’s just a short walk to the main tourist attractions, which made exploring the city really easy. The overall appearance of the hotel is well-maintained and clean.
Our room was okay, but nothing special. That might be because we had one of the older, unrenovated rooms. As we passed by other rooms, we noticed that many of them had already been modernized and...
Great location to explore palermo on foot and exceptional staff. The breakfast was very good. Recommend taking the time to have some drinks on the rooftop terrace at night or taking a coffee up in the morning. The beds were very comfy. The room was spacious, clean and tidy.
It was very pleasant our stay, Dario and all staff very professional. The breakfast good, and location convenient.
The pictures here kind of give the wrong impression of the rooms.
Breakfast is ok, but the pastry is not fresh.
Location is good, walking distance from most landmarks.
Hotel Posta is perfectly located in the center of the old city and it is close to all the important sites/ places. It is a family hotel that has been run since 1927. Comfortable stay
It’s in the center but really comfortable and calm place with great service.
Not for noise-sensitive people.
It was quite noisy, as the windows were very thin and there was no real natural light in my room. Cleanliness was mediocre. Towels are only changed after departure, I suspect.
We enjoyed our stay at this small hotel with a private courtyard. The room was clean and had a very spacious bathroom with a window (which is important to me). It's five minutes from Palazzo Reale Station, making it convenient for visiting the main attractions. The quietness at night is also remarkable, allowing for a good night's sleep. Breakfast is simple, but offers both sweet and savory options...
Together with other colleagues we stayed in this hotel near the University of Palermo. It is a family-run hotel and the staff was very helpful and welcoming, making our stay pleasant. Clean rooms with good daily cleaning service. Breakfast offered very good and eaten under a very nice (isolated) gazebo. I highly recommend!
We had a very good time, very helpful people managers. I would have given an extra star 6dr the mattress had been slightly softer. In any case it is a place that I recommend
Friendly staff.
Basic breakfast (but the cannoli weren't there)
Large, spartan rooms with dated decor.
Certainly useful for using it as a foothold.
Tip: soundproof the rooms and eliminate some furniture elements that are no longer appreciated and only useful for collecting dust (bedspreads and decorative pillows are an example).
I give 4 stars because the price is still in line with what I had.

Great location and availability for check-in. We arrived on the last train from the airport and walked 5 minutes. Recommended
The room is outdated, the refrigerator does not work, the furniture is unnecessary, the window does not close well. But it is clean, spacious and in the city center.
Location is good. Safe and comfortable with a supermarket on a next street and shopping area around.
Overall its an old hotel that needs renovation
Breakfast is fine.
Rooms poorly equipped.

The hotel is very quiet, clean, and welcoming. The staff are attentive and accommodating. The only slight drawback is that it's a bit isolated from Palermo's city center.
The boss is very enthusiastic and the service is very thoughtful. The environment is elegant and quiet.

This would have been excellent as Staff very attentive on arrival, great facilities. No hotel is better. Paulo and his wife do an excellent job. She makes the most wonderful breakfast right from her grandmother's recipes. You will be treated like someone special when you come to the Alma. The rooms are beautiful. The staff is kind and helpful.
We had a wonderful two night stay. I requested an upgrade as it was my wife's birthday. The free upgrade was to a suite.
On the day of her birthday a complimentary bottle of bubbly was left in the room.
Staff extremely courteous and friendly, room exceptionally large and clean. Best breakfast ever experienced in Italy with delicious cakes to see you through most of the day. Highly recommended.
Very enjoyable stay in this hotel. In a great location, room was very clean and the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful with any queries we had. Would highly recommend
Very friendly and welcoming hosts. The place is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great and generous. The location is excellent.
Clean modern rooms, great location (walkable to shops and restaurants), extremely kind staff, and a great breakfast! I highly recommend this hotel. We loved our time in Palermo and would definitely stay again.
This isn't a hotel per say, but a B&B arranged as an hotel. The building is full of levels re-arranged as an B&B an hotels. So don't expect a huge lobby or a bar. It's just a small lobby used for breakfast and 7 rooms.

we were a group of 'older' guys who like food beer and travel I have travelled many times in Italy --many times 5 star-- this hotel leaves them standing--spotless, huge rooms aircon that works great area good breakfast but most of all a friendly welcome from the staff
what a find!!!!!!!!spotless and excellent rooms ,good breakfast but best of all staff who are very helpful and welcoming. I have stayed at Italian 5 star hotels who could learn from this one--thanks
we are a group of well travelled 'older' guys who enjoy short breaks --100% satisfied with this hotel and indeed Palermo
The hotel iand staff are great. The pubs in the area when they are open Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday are very loud and even with the windows closed you better be a heavy sleeper or you will have to wait until 5am to get some sleep. Other than that the staff is there when needed breakfast was good.
Great location, lots of lively options for food and drink. Bed is a little hard and shower very little but staff were very friendly and helpful. Let me check in at 10am because the the room was ready which was fantastic
I liked the location of the property.
The hotel was very dated. They were very rigid, I was specifically told that if i was not at the reception by check out time then I will charged extra.
Stay elsewhere, there are plenty of hotels around the area.
The staff was awesome and very helpful.
Street noise a bit loud.
Shower door needs attention. Step down in extra room needs signage. Room 103.

Water pressure for shower was non existent… otherwise clean and functional
It was about a 5-minute walk from the nearest bus stop. It took a while to get to the airport by bus. I was surprised that the building where I checked in was different from the building where I was staying.
Nice place. Luca and Luciano /the guys from the hotel were very kind. Parking in blue zone costs 1 euro per hour from 8 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 8 pm. From 2 pm to 4 pm there is no charge.
Spent 4 nights here in March, 2025. We cannot praise the staff enough - they were all excellent. The reception staff on arrival, and throughout were extremely helpful. Whether it was prepping our arrival or helping with onward travel arrangements, nothing was a problem or a chore to them. Another big thank you to the domestic staff - the initial pillows were a little wooly; however, this was soon sorted...

Superb B&B
We very much enjoyed our stay here and I can recommend it to anyone.
We felt welcomed from the first moment by the nice man who handles the parking, then by Mr. Giuseppe who took care of us, both charming and service minded. The place is clean and well kept, the double suite we had was spacious and the beds firm but comfortable. The air conditioners were efficient and the shower worked...
If you drive, you have to go into the walking street. Breakfast is small, towels are not provided for everyone. Water is free. The room is spacious. You ring the doorbell but no one answers. You have to call.
Giuseppe is a wonderful host. The breakfast was amazing as was the staff! Great location!
Small authentic B&B in an upmarket area of Palermo with parking. Convenient location. Very large room for a family of 5 and beds were comfy. Don’t expect 5 star decor and furnishings. Photos are accurate. A great stay - would recommend!
Weekend in Palermo
Palazzo Pantaleo is a solid 3 star hotel on the road that becomes the main passagio for the town on the weekends. Because it's set back from the street, you can get away from what is a very large crowd without any problems. The room, the bed and the bathroom were all very clean.
All staff are friendly. Great location and walkable to the attractions in the city. Easy parking that we could just walk in Palermo and drive to other cities for a day trip. We could have the great start of the day by enjoying breakfast at the nice dining area and greeted by friendly staff. Bottles of water were filled every day, it was great with such a hot weather.

This must've been an awesome property when it opened 10 years ago, but it is not the same as it once was. The walls are dirty in some places, some of the gaps between the tiles are discolored, the cracks are starting to appear in the shower floor. The room was crowded to the point that it was hard to move the desk chair out. And that is the only chair there was in the room....
The staff here was great, very friendly and welcoming. The property however looked very unkept and the photos on the website were misleading. The window in the bathroom was left open when we first entered and our room was invested with mosquitos, I was bit all over my body. There were black spots in the ceiling on the bathroom, could have been mold but I'm not sure. The hotel is next to an ambulance...
The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the train station in mostly quiet residential area. The breakfast is not included but well worth the price. Be sure to order the evening before. The rooms are organized around a central courtyard with numerous places to sit. This is a nice place to visit with fellow travellers but does encourage noisy conversation and telephone calls. My first night was quiet...

The property is located just steps from the Quattro Canti, an excellent location for walking to all attractions. We found our room a bit dated and definitely in need of a makeover. The headboard is made of fabric, which is not washable and therefore unhygienic. The air conditioning is noisy, so if it's very hot and you have to leave it on at night, it would be annoying. The soundproofing is terrible...
Never again. Not worth the price
The place is not up to standard. Very old building with little maintenance. Electrical fittings are old and don't inspire confidence. No wardrobe or mini fridge, the paint on the wall needs a new coat and the curtains need replacing. The air condition unit looks like 15 years old. I switched it off after 2 minutes as it was letting off a bad smell. No luggage store...

Fantastic location, poor breakfast for the price we paid, and the worst is the experience of staying outside the front door for an hour and a half.
