The room was tidy and clean but the shower pressure was too low and the Wifi kept coming and going so I had to give up and use my own. I signaled it to the receptionist but nothing happened. Other than that, the staff were professional.
The hotel was neat and clean that staffs helped clean the bathroom and bed every day, we had an incredible stay in 4 nights. However, they didn’t offer kettle for boiling hot water, and their reason was that we had booked a standard room and hence no kettles were provided. If we needed hot water, we could only get it from the bar which closed at 22:30, meaning that if we got back to the hotel later...
Having read all those negative reviews about the hotel I was pleasantly surprised to have such a lovely stay for 3 nights here. We had a room with a view, spacious and clean. Unfortunately, there was no kettle nor iron in the room that is definitely not up to 4 stars standard. The bathroom looked a bit tired that required upgrading or at least better maintenance. However, everything was in good working...
Nice hotel in Palmero, close to the 107 bus stop that takes you into the center (trip takes about 30 minutes) The hotel was big and the room was clean with fresh bedding and towels. I arrived with a broken lock on my bag and the hotel staff helped me fix it! They were really helpful and friendly . WiFi was good and it was quiet at night, Nice rooftop terrace with bar There are some nice local...
Great view. Spacious room. Friendly reception. Fridge in the room.
Upon arrival, they initially wanted to give us a room facing the corridor, after a complaint we were given another. The room is minimally equipped, two people get one chair and one glass. A kettle was not provided upon request. At breakfast, the cakes are fresh and delicious. Italian coffee and cappuccino are also available upon request. The restaurant and bar staff are friendly and helpful.

An old hotel on the outskirts of the city that offers good value for money, especially for those travelling by car. Palermo is a large and bustling city, but the hotel's free parking is easily accessible before the city centre gets busy. The hotel's breakfast is served on the 14th floor, which is a bit difficult to reach by lift at breakfast time, but the breakfast itself is tasty and extensive, including...
After reading some of the reviews of the hotel, I was dreading checking in. Yes, the hotel is a bit out of the way, in quite a run down area but Ubers and taxis were reasonably cheap. Our room was lovely, clean, massive bed and had everything that we needed. The public spaces were clean and comfortable, the pool area was clean but there was a definite lack of sunbeds and we didn't swim because of the...
I stayed here with my boyfriend for a holiday – overall, a good stay! The view from the window was absolutely stunning – one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen! The rooms definitely need renovation. The air conditioning worked great and kept the room nice and cool. Breakfast was quite boring with limited options, but the food was tasty. The biggest downside – no real glasses, only plastic cups. The...
A good place to eat and to sleep.
The design is absolutely 20th century, as is much of the room aesthetic, which ends up feeling quaintly nostalgic. Waking up with a view of the sea at sunrise is a definite perk.
As for the stay, everything went relatively well, except that those who wanted to enjoy the pool in this heat would have to deal with a lifeguard who was perhaps a horrible, pretentious lifeguard with no respect for the tourists who were staying at the hotel, so for anyone who wanted to swim, choose another hotel. He forced us to get out of the water, claiming that the buoy wasn't for tourists but...

Our first time in Palermo. Very comfortable hotel, cheerful and helpful staff especially Martina and Leo in the restaurant. Great pool spoiled by very loud pop music in the poolside seating area. Overall a very good stay, thank you.
Wonderful hotel. Clean friendly. Martina in the dining room and the gentleman behind the bar ( whose name I did not get) were both terrific in assisting us. Thank you Geerd Mattheus
Paolo, a bartender at the NH Hotel is amazing. He was attentive to our needs from the moment we arrived and until we left. The hotel has beautiful views of the sea and the breakfast is a large variety of fruit, pastries, eggs, and breakfast meats.
Paolo was fantastic - he helped us while sitting by the pool and also in the evening with cocktails. The hotel is a perfect location, clean and safe. Their food is also fresh and delicious. Constantino makes an amazing espresso martini as well, one of the best we have ever had!
Overall, the hotel is a nice environment, but there are definite drawbacks which would prevent us from staying here again (we’re actually leaving earlier than planned). The biggest issue is the in room climate controls. While there is a thermostat in each room, allowing you to change the temperature, no matter how low you set it, the coldest the room will ever get is 23°C (~74°F). And, as many are...
Our room was small but perfectly formed with everything we needed. What let's this place down is the service. The breakfast was average. The coffee machines were not working either day we stayed. The produce itself was poor with very little choice. The pool area is beautiful. Plenty of towels and beds. However the service around the Poole is extremely poor and expensive. Two soft drinks (that took...

Great location. Wonderful breakfast. Great staff.
My husband booked this hotel for me on Trip. This hotel is perfect for solo travel - very convenient, and very clean. I will definitely use this hotel again when I come.
Great location, friendly and helpful staff, and a good breakfast. Highly recommend!
Fantastic hotel! Superb location and very professional staff.
Food not so good was ok. Location view was fantastic
Very nice and decent hotel. It is located exactly at the center of Palermo ancient city. It is very convenient to walk to all main sightseeing sites and the central train station. The room I stay is 339, and it has a very nice balcony. Will defiantly come back.

The location is excellent, right next to the Four Corners Square. The room is well-equipped and very clean. The breakfast is rich, with many choices and well-made. The front desk service is in place.
I spent a long time looking for a nearby parking lot. This place is not suitable for self-driving, but the location is very good, it is equivalent to living in Wangfujing Pedestrian Street
I can only give it an average rating! It has a history of 220 years but it is too old.
The hotel is very nice and conveniently located within walking distance to Huochez
The staff were awesome. Very helpful and accommodating. The location is in the heart of downtown so it’s very walkable. If you want to park there, you better have a SMALL car. We had to fold the mirrors in on our Skoda Fabia to fit in the alley that leads to their garage. The entrance and lobby are wonderful and the breakfast was inexpensive and good. We have just spent three nights at Grand Hotel Wagner and it was outstanding in every way!! Staying at the Hotel Wagner in Palermo was a great experience! The hotel and rooms were gorgeous and spacious. Beautiful hotel in a renovated and repurposed palace. Service was excellent with a lot of grand salon spaces and a great bar on the main level. The rooms were beautiful, bathrooms well supplied. Very classy hotel.
I had a massage during my stay. This massage was the highlight of my time in the hotel. Laura was exceptionally skillful and gave me the most intuitive and relaxing massage. I would recommend the fitness and beauty center to everyone.
This is truly a remarkable hotel and you will agree once you’ve read through my comment. And yes, I too never comment unless it’s extremely good/bad. First, the interiors of this hotel are way better than the photos. I initially thought the photos were tacky for my taste but when I arrived, the high ceilings and ornate decor were classically beautiful and everything was immaculately clean. I stayed...
Room: 3.5/5 the decor of the rooms matches the royalty of the city, beautifully decorated. However, bathrooms are small (in line with what you find in Europe) with tight shower. The hotel is good overall. The rooms are clean and functional, although a bit worn-out and in need of renovation. The location was good, and with parking spots on the street. The breakfast was good, with various options. Staff was kind and helpful.
Overall, we were happy with our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, though the decor lacked charm. We especially enjoyed the breakfast—everything was of high quality.
Our story: We were on a cruise when we had an emergency requiring my wife to be hospitalized. Our port agent set us up in this hotel. The reception was welcoming and sympathetic. We had to switch rooms to accommodate incoming guests and they made the transfer easy and moved out luggage. A big surprise was the restaurant. Our dinners were very good and the chef surprised us with a special treat...
I chose the hotel with the best reviews in the price category that I was willing to spend. The hotel is very well located, simple, the furniture is worn and outdated, there are no minimal toiletries in the bathroom typical for a 4-star hotel. Greatly located just in the heart of old Palermo, and very quiet in the same time, serving very tasty breakfasts for all needs, spacious room (we opted for privilege one), and great views: see and mountain just in opposite directions.

Really loved our stay. Spacious room, lovely balcony over looking the square and air con was super efficient. Could do with more wardrobe/ cupboard space but we just loved the room. It was ideal.
The hotel is centrally located. The housekeeping is excellent, with clean bed sheets provided daily. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. A top-quality full breakfast is offered, with many options including pastries, hot breakfast items, and fresh fruit. The staff is attentive and helpful.
We had a room on the 7th floor with a balcony. The view and location of the hotel was perfect for our stay. It was just far enough away from the hustle of the downtown area. We walked to and from the Opera house area with no problems. There is a gelato shop just on the corner from the hotel that has the best gelato. The hotel is situated across from the square, Teatro Politeama Garribaldi. We found...
The rooms are tremendously clean and well appointed. The only drawback to the rooms is that this is a boutique hotel and therefore the rooms are a bit smaller than a purpose built hotel. Having said that the location of the hotel and the staff of the hotel more than make up for room size. I was so appreciative to stay at a 4 star hotel with a staff that rivals any staff of any 5 star hotel that I...
In an excellent location and very friendly service! We were extremely satisfied with our stay here - the balcony was nice and spacious and we had a gorgeous view of the piazza outside the hotel. Great service, and the front staff is kind and friendly, which is wonderful. The room was spacious enough for a night’s stay and the bathroom was clean. The room itself was clean and comfortable for what we paid. This was let down by very average customer service at the front desk. The hotel was in a great location near the historical center within walking distance to the main attractions. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were big. The staff was very friendly and buffet breakfast was great with wide variety of choices, especially the fresh orange juice and the pastries and cakes. Highly recommend for a visit to Palermo.
The hotel rooms are relatively small and the facilities are also very rudimentary. Breakfast is average. The only advantage is that it is located on the pedestrian street in the center of the city, making it convenient to go to surrounding attractions

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with my girlfriend. First, I’d like to mention the negative aspects. The air conditioner kept turning on and off by itself, and no matter what we did, we couldn’t fix it. You might wake up in the middle of the night either sweating or freezing. Although our room was cleaned every day during our stay, our towels were only changed once — we believe they should be...
Really great, central location. Our room was really spacious and the walls were not as thin as in other Sicilian hotels. However, we had a problem with our toilet not flushing that took more than 24 hours to fix. There's a very small lobby and restaurant and they had no computer. You have to climb up and down slanted steps to get to and from the street.
Broken shower, poor breakfast (rancid, greasy ham), good desserts. Perfect location
Location was ok. Room i guess generally ok but mine was looking to back side and dark..

The service staff were excellent. Breakfast was delicious every morning. The room could have been clean. There was black stuff coming out of the tiles when I was showering. I was here for business, usually only back in the room after working hours, and the room met my basic needs.
Fantastic facility, very kind and knowledgeable staff. My compliments to everyone. Excellent breakfast. When we return to Palermo, we will return. Thank you...
Despite some negative comments, perhaps from people who stayed on the first floor, we were very happy with our stay at this hotel. The wait staff was extremely friendly, the breakfast was excellent, the room was clean, and the parking was free. The only downside was the poor soundproofing in the rooms, but it was completely quiet after 11 p.m.
Food very basic, toilet makes a loud noise when you flush, you could hear people next door. Nice place overall, very clean, i would recommend as beds are very comfortable and its great if you are going with friends or on a school trip.
This place is simple/basic but all is clean and works properly. The mattress is comfortable. They offer a fair breakfast.

Very comfortable room and location, worthy for the price
Got a single room facing the road and railway station. Very noisy! First they gave the room facing the yard but it was smelling cigars too strongly and I asked to change it. No soap in the shower, slightly dirty and dusty. Too small.
The room wasn't very large, with just one queen-size bed. The bathroom curtain was a bit crudely hung and sometimes needed to be manually adjusted (you need to be at least 1.72 meters tall to find it easy). The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day, but check-in is not until 3:00 PM. The best part is that it's conveniently located across from the central train station, just across the zebra crossing...
Not a bad hotel. Took for one night. Breakfast from 7 am, did not manage to get to it. There were no problems with hot water, Wi-Fi works
We had paid the city fee (tax) to a front desk clerk when we checked in on the first day, but when we checked out, another clerk told us that we had not paid the city fee. We described the clerk who collected the money at that time, but the clerk who checked out said there was no record, and because we had to catch a train, we had to pay the city fee again. Spa and Class! Wonderful hotel close to the historical district. The Spa is a MUST!!! Breakfast was incredible. Gianlucca was a helpful concierge. The local restaurants are fair priced and the limoncello spritz are delightfully refreshing!
Very nice hotel with excellent breakfast buffet. Rooms were spacious and stadf was friendly
We stayed here in May 2025 and had a great time. The room was big and well equipped, but the best part was breakfast on the picturesque terrace (and happy hour there too!). The hotel is also in a good location, roughly a 10 minute walk from the historic centre ( which is good as the centre can get quite crowded!).

Lovely boutique hotel. Spacious and clean rooms. Located next to Ballaro market. Close to magnificent churches. Easy and fast check in. Only issue was no help with luggage upon check in - and there is a step to get to elevator. Breakfast (included) was mediocre. It can get noisy when there are events booked at hotel.
Nice hotel, but hard to find and up stairs. The hotel was hard to find, down an unmarked side street, to piazza. Came from the train station. Asking two locals on the way, even they weren’t aware, but did eventually find it for me. The room was spacious, with comfortable bedding. Although up an elevator, also up a flight of stairs with suitcase. I had a delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Totally lovely hotel with outstanding cafe. Giovanna’s attention also wonderful food she deserves a raise in pay
Hotel was lovely and fairly centrally located, about 30min walk from Palermo central station. Very close to the marina and the hop on/off bus starting point. Room was nice and bed was huge. The only downside was the shower, it was tiny, I’m average sized and every time I went to wash my hair, I banged my elbows on either side of the cubicle even if I stood at an angle. Breakfast was in a little...
This hotel is ideally situated in Palermo. We are a few hundred yards from the hop on hop off bus stop and about 15 minutes walk from the Tetro Massimo. The train station is also easily accessible and a few stops on the bus. Our original room was on the first floor and quite small and noisy, but we asked to be moved and we were moved to a suite on the top floor. Room 404 is definitely the room to ask...
Fine location near Teatro Massimo and shopping streets, lots of restarants and bars in vicinity. Street noise gets in starting at 7 a.m. Thin walls ond doors let in sounds of living from the hotel. Ear plugs always in big demand. Cramped breakfast room, but OK food for a short stay. Friendly staff and good cleaning. As noticed earlier falls short of four stars
Loved this quaint Hotel. Very friendly staff and great breakfast offered. Very handy location. Great restaurants nearby.
Clean, tidy, staff are friendly and helpful. Very welcoming. Delicious breakfast. It’s central to pretty much everything. Close to some great gelato, restaurants and cafes. A short walk to the hop on bus. And to some amazing adventures! Enjoy!
