I guess the hotel is run by a family, everyone was really nice with us. They opened the door at any time (you have to leave the key each time you go out). Easy accessible by taxi, short walk to Prato if you like and we like everything about the place. Owners were super helpful and allowed us to watch then olive oil workshop.

The rural location and beautiful villa and its historical connections with the Medici. Giovanni the owner and his staff were delightful, warm and helpful despite being busy harvesting the olives, which was interesting to watch. There were beautiful views from the terrace and balcony overlooking the hills and Prato in the distance. Really stunning location with ducks and ducklings roaming free.

Trully tremendous accomodation. Ancient italian villa situated in to olive and fig grove. It includes magnificent pool and tree shades. Tasty, rich and awesome breakfast are just the cherry on the cake.

This Villa is a place of beauty and history! We never expected such a beautiful and authentic old place as we entered this Villa from the 15th century with a beautiful garden. Our room was very clean and beautifully and we felt like home! Giovanni was a super friendly host and always available. The breakfast is very good and tasty. We liked our stay in Villa. Fantastic breakfast, good sleep, panoramic view, and very helpful owner Francesco, which ancestors stay here for 500 years. If you are looking for ghosts, maybe you can meet them here on a way to your room :). Or you can try local vine and oil.

My boyfriend and I stayed in this residence for two weeks and we had a great time ... Massimo was very kind to welcome us upon check in .. Very nice host, from there you could easily reach all the sights, you should definitely take the train from Pistoia to Florence. There were places to eat within easy reach, either on foot or by car. I can highly recommend.

I’ve never felt so welcome in any hotel/b&b before! Excellent communication, very accommodating host and the warmest welcome possible by Alberto who made sure everything was explained clearly. He provided maps and great advice on Florence. The property is a 5 minute walk to the train station, Florence is 15 minutes away by train. Lastra a Signa is a small village in an excellent position for those who want to visit Florence, Pisa and the surrounding area. The room is well decorated and clean.

Excellent family-run B&B in the center of Lastra a Signa. 15 minutes by car from Florence, but we used the train, which takes very little. Large, bright rooms with parquet. I was looking for a quiet, private place with a terrace surrounded by beautiful nature. This incredible property was perfect for me. Please note that this property is on the outskirts of Sesto and you will need to rent a bike or car to get to the Sesto train station. From there, it's a short train ride to Florence.

Such a wonderful place to stay! We were pleased with everything. Very comfortable position, close to the train station ( 5-7 min. by walk ) and it takes you to the center of Florence. Fantastic apartment with modern design and full amenities, located in scenic Lastra a Signa. I was here for a conference. The place was once very grand, but looks like it's fallen from grace somewhat, probably because it's not in a great part of town, and because it's under the flight path for Florence airport! Am sure it was stunning once, but now only stay if you needa cheap airport hotel or you're on a budget.

All the reviews aren’t fair. It’s 20€ a night with included breakfast. You really can’t except a four star hotel for this price. Rooms were clean, the shower was big and tidy, towels clean and big, beds comfortable and clean as well. Stuff is really nice and always helping. Our windows did creak a bit but that didn’t bother us, they shut perfectly and we didn’t hear the airport or the nearby streets...

It's a clean and inexpensive place to stay with friendly staff and nice big towels. I've read other reviews on it they are not being fair you can expect a top shelf breakfast when you are only paying twenty-five euros a night. You get what you pay for.

A comfortable hotel conveniently located near the airport. The service is excellent, and the bedrooms are clean and spacious. We even had a big balcony. They also have delicious cocktails and dinner options. While there may be some noise, this seems typical for hotels in Florence. Their airport shuttle service is only 15 euros per room. We booked it for 4.30 AM and the driver arrived at 4.30 sharp

We were very pleased with the service and cleanliness of the hotel. We had a rental car but realized that it was not useful due to the restrictions placed on vehicles entering the museum zones. Located just an 8 min walk from public transportation, it was very convenient for us.

We were originally only after a reasonably priced place close to the airport for our last day, but Hotel Franchi outdid expectations. So, as you pull up to the hotel you'll ask yourself if you've made the right choice. I believe you have. The outside may be nothing to write home about but the overall atmosphere is nice. For those who travel with their own car and have no problem with using public transport, Hotel Marzia is a very good option to visit Florence. Clean rooms and bathrooms, TV, AC, good wifi, indoor parking, free. Tram station T1 at 1.5km, tickets from the tobacco shop next to the hotel or from the machine in the tram station. Nice, nice and cozy hotel where I spent one night. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine, rooms comfortable. I would have appreciated only better blackout in the rooms, where the blinds and curtains didn't work quite as expected. However, the quiet environment and comfortable bed ensured a comfortable sleep anyway.
