Hotel Sant'Agata

we stayed in this hotel in august and from day one was impressed by the hotel the staff and how clean it is, we had half board, the breakfast was a great selection with hot and cold food buffet style, the evening meals where fantastic 4 courses, the pool was clean and the service around the pool was fantastic from the staff. the staff in the restaurant in the evening where very good nothing was too much of a problem from Giovann- Luigi, anna and carla, the chef was top chef. the area is very nice with bars shops and places to eat with a supermarket just around the corner, we did a trip to Pompeii one day that was really good and another day we had a trip to the amalfi coast witch was all day and it was a brilliant day, and the rest of the week sunbathing and swimming in the lovely pool, oh and in the garage theres a museum of scooters and cars well worth a look in there the owners are collectors. we had a great week and couldn't fault a thing about this hotel or the staff so looking to book for next year now...

We went stayed at the hotel Sant Agata for 2 weeks in July in had such an amazing experience. The hotel and grounds are kept to such a high standard. All the staff couldn’t do enough for us and were really helpful with tips on the best places to visit. Definitely book your excursion's with them to save some ££. The hotels location is so central to all the local amenities. We will definitely return.

We stayed for a week from 9 July and could not have been happier with our experience. Our spacious room was 228 located in the modern annex building and overlooked the pool area. Housekeeping was first class. We had decide to book B&B (via Jet 2) as we wanted to take advantage of of the local restaurants in the village, which was walkable in under 10 minutes (although care needs to be taken as Sant'Agata is not built for pedestrians. The breakfast itself was quite adequate, especially as omelettes could be ordered. Some fresh fruit would however have been nice. The friendly and efficient service provided by Ana and Carla was first class. What made the holiday so special however was the exceptional service of the reception staff, whether providing information, taking time to chat and making sure we were enjoying the holiday, or helping with booking excursions (at a much better price than what Jet2 offered. In this regard Antonella was amazing and a real credit to her profession and the Hotel Sant’Agata .

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at the Hotel Sant Agata and felt we needed to write a review about how brilliant this place is! From the moment we arrived, we felt so well looked after. Due to a flight delay, we didn’t arrive until 10.30pm at night but the restaurant staff had stayed and waited to make sure we had an evening meal (which was delicious). Our room was immaculate every day- as was everywhere else in the hotel. It is clear just how much care and attention every member of staff puts into this business. Every single person who works there goes above and beyond, they are by far the friendliest hotel we have ever visited. For example, I hadn’t mentioned it was my birthday but they surprised me at dinner with a birthday cake that they had made! They are also very knowledgeable and helpful when suggesting local walks and potential excursions and provide both a village map and a wider area footpath map. We stayed on a half board basis and can honestly say that the food was of an excellent standard. Breakfast provided both hot and cold continental choices and my husband and son regularly requested a delicious omelette. In the morning we we given the evening meal choices, which we found really useful. There was usually a choice of 3 starters and 3 mains each night. In terms of facilities, the room had coffee/tea making facilities and these were replenished daily. There was a hairdryer, safe and mini fridge as well. The pool was peaceful and there was always more than enough sunbeds available. In terms of location, this hotel is really well placed near the centre of Sant Agata which has some fantastic places to eat and drink. If you are wanting to visit the busier Sorrento, there are regular buses that take around 15 minutes. Alternatively, there is a footpath which took us 40 mins on the way down and about an hour on the way back up. We couldn’t have asked for more from our holiday and are already planning our return visit!

Great room, breakfast a little repetitive but all round, a great stay in the amalfi coast. Great location away from the busyness of sorrento

We stayed here in June 2025 and what a fantastic stay it was. To tell the truth we both got emotional on leaving, so much so we have rebooked for later this year and June again next year already. There is absolutely nothing that you could complain about, everything about the hotel and the area is fabulous and the staff could honestly not do enough to make your stay enjoyable

We have just returned from a week's stay at this fabulous hotel and cannot praise it enough. We went there to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary and it was an absolute pleasure. Every member of staff gives one hundred percent to make your stay a good one. It is in an ideal location - shops, bars, restaurants, local bus stops are all close by - Sorrento centre is a 10 minute bus ride, boat trips to Capri and the Amalfi coast are also c short distance away. We chose to stay half board, the food was cooked to a high standard and varied, a choice of three dishes is offered each night as well as a willingness to cater for individual tastes ( their aim is to please). Breakfast choices are plentiful, empty dishes/ plates are promptly replenished. Again, individual requests are attempted to be met so do not be shy. Our room was 229, lovely view of the pool, light, clean and modern although storage was limited it was manageable. Air-con was reliable and perfect black -out blinds. There are enough sun loungers and umbrellas also shaded areas to relax in. My one and only gripe is the depth of the pool. It is 170 everywhere so if like me you are only 5ft 1 it can be unnerving; I, like many like to be able to touch the floor! I have saved the best until the end - the staff!! Absolutely the best, They are so willing to make your stay a memorable one, they are always smiling, polite and actually care about their guests. Giovann- Luigi is worth his weight in gold and more, Anna is lovely too - nothing is too much trouble for either of them. The two brothers on reception again very obliging and informative and the crazy, caring cat young lady is lovely inside and out. Really, I cannot praise the staff enough. We frequented Bar Orlando both during the day and some evenings so would also recommend. Fantastic atmosphere, very authentic and vibrant. Safe to say we have had a wonderful time. This was our first visit to this hotel and we were both amazed at what a wonderful gem we had found. Family run hotel, who could not do enough for their guests, in fact you were treated and welcomed as a member of their family. First night we arrived late and they had a meal waiting for us, again going that extra mile for their guests. All the hotel staff work tirelessly to make sure that everyone had the best holiday, nothing was too much trouble and the hotel is kept spotlessly clean. Thank you all for a wonderful holiday.

What can we say, just returned from Hotel Sant Agata a credit to the family who run this lovely place. It is in a perfect position in the village of that name. From arrival to departure the aim of all the staff is to make your stay as happy and comfortable as possible. The rooms, pool area and dining room are all spotlessly clean and well maintained, the grounds have beautiful lemon trees and flowers. A special mention to dining room staff, Anna, Carla and Gianluigi brilliant at their job and so lovely to talk to. It goes without saying that every staff member had the same work ethos, excellent. The food at breakfast and dinner is varied and adequate. Access to Sorrento from the village is easy by local frequent buses. All in all an amazing holiday would recommend to anyone wanting to visit this stunning part of Italy, we will definitely be returning. A big thank you to all at Hotel Sant Agata. This hotel was ideal for us, set in a village location away from Sorrento but close to restaurants, public transport and supermarket, booking trips and excursions with the hotel was easy, reliable and far cheaper than our travel company The hotel itself is family run and you can tell instantly they value the reputation of their establishment. The hotel, grounds and pool are all well maintained and pristine. The staff are friendly, competent and efficient. The food was varied, well prepared and presented. The room we stayed in had all the amenities we needed plus kettle, hairdryer, toiletries, pool towels and fridge. Housekeeping was first class our room was cleaned daily to a high standard. We will not hesitate to book this hotel again in the future and look forward to returning very soon
