Hotel Sant'Agata

We really enjoyed our stay here and the hotel met our needs perfectly. Super helpful staff and a comfortable, clean room with a balcony. The pool area was lovely. The breakfast buffet was good and we enjoyed a very nice meal the first evening we arrived. Only a couple of minutes walk to the centre os Sant'agata where we enjoyed trying a number of good restaurants. Bus goes from there regularly into Sorrento.

Stayed here for a week, lovely room with a pool view. Staff are so helpful, they gave us a bus timetable, bustop a 5 min walk away, taking you straight into Sorrento for just €1.50. They can even book up trips, we took a boat trip to Capri, it was well worth visit. Good location and would definitely go back. Can't thank the staff enough for being so helpful and friendly. Don't forget to visit Amalphi, such a beautiful place.

We are here now as part of a Jet2 package holiday. Weather not great today so thought I'd do a review now.
Hotel is on a busy (noisy) road, 5 minutes walk to the village centre. There's a supermarket 1 min round the corner.
We have two rooms, one facing the pool, one facing the road with views of the sea. Rooms are very clean, have a safe, plenty of sockets, the fridges don't get cold. One room has a shower cubicle, the other has a bath with shower over.
Breakfast offers a wide variety: juice, tea, coffee, fruit, yogurt, toast, cereal, pastries, hot and cold items.
The pool is freezing but doesn't stop anyone swimming! Comfy sun loungers, peaceful and quiet. You can phone from the pool and the lovely staff will come down and take food/drinks orders. They have a snack menu offering pizza, toasties, salads etc. Wide variety of drinks including international brands.
The staff in the hotel are fantastic and really couldn't be more helpful. They will print maps and timetables and make suggestions, booking things for you if you like.
The hotel and and grounds are very clean and well looked after. All staff are kind, friendly and welcoming and appear to enjoy working at this lovely hotel.
Recommend walking down to Fiordi Crapolla from the hotel. Also visit Amalfi and Positano but don't miss Ravello. Sorrento is accessible by public bus although they get very busy and the wait can be long. Recommend Coop S.Antonio for a boat trip to and around Capri.
Sant Agata is a sweet little village with all you need. The numerous stray dogs was quite alarming, never come across this before. Recommend Lo Stuzzichino, Da Mimi, Pasta E, Fiorentina. Avoid Exstasy! I'd love to come back here one day as there's still so much to explore! Thank you to all the staff for looking after us and helping to make this a special holiday.

This hotel is a marvel of human culture. We were saved by their grace and fellowship. It was a strike of God that led us to our savior, Gianluigi.

He was the nicest man ever, at midnight, he walked us to the room, and gave us a good spot to park in. He probably could have just gone home but he went the extra mile for us. Gianluigi! If you see this thank you!

It gets better...

The next day, way after check out. I found my pockets were a bit heavy while on the rocky beach where the Sirens sing... I reached in one and found the key to the room! I had left it in my pocket...

I felt so silly, and I contacted them to find that we could return it to them with smiles on all faces!

The rooms were amazing, the showers were dripping, the porches were blinding, I could go on and on.

Absolute gem of a hotel. The owner and staff could not do enough to help our stay. Only stayed for 7 nights, smack bang in the middle of everything, Sorrento, Amalfi coast, Capri, Naples and Pompeii. Rooms are quite spacious and comfortable with a balcony, ours had a view of the pool, cleaner was happy to come each day to service the room but also very helpful when I was poorly to provide clean towels and fresh bottles of water. Pool wasn’t heated but I did swim twice although hubby only had the one go.
The local buses were easy to find and use, tickets can be bought above the pharmacy.
If coming back to Sorrento/Amalfi coast/Capri, would Most definitely book Hotel Sant’Agata

We had a brilliant 2 weeks at this wonderful hotel, friendly professional staff who are super helpful with anything you need. Location is perfect for Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi & Capri. Please take the time to look at the fabulous collection of cars and vespas in the garage. If you are looking for a wee jewel I would definitely recommend Hotel Sant'Agata... give it a try, you won't be disappointed. Grazie mille

Initially we were a little bit disappointed in how the rooms were very different from the jet2 photos. The rooms were pleasant, but the shower is either in need of a clean or an upgrade as the water comes out so slowly. Having said that, the staff were WONDERFUL. Always willing to go the extra mile to help you and make sure you feel at ease. Feel perhaps this is more of hotel to relax in, rather be than a hotel with a lively atmosphere. Sant ágata is a lovely little village, all the people are incredibly friendly and welcoming! I’d definitely recommend going and having a drink in bar Orlando, real authentic Italian bar. The hotel is a 30 minute bus ride to Sorrento ( the views from the bus are breathtaking) and Sorrento is a stunning place with lovely little market shops, amazing pizza and pasta😂 and not badly priced. Overall we had a wonderful holiday, mainly thanks to the kind and lovely hotel staff. If you’re planning a relaxing trip to Italy, don’t give hotel sant ágata a miss!
