Grand Hotel Aminta in Sorrento

All I can say is that it was a perfect evening, night, and awakening. The dinner was fantastic, not only for the fish but also for the impeccable service.

A full five-star review is a must! The hotel is located on a hilltop, but the shuttle bus is convenient and punctual. A special shout-out to the receptionist, Ms. VI – she was beautiful and kind, and provided a detailed introduction to Sorrento. The bathroom sink drain in my room was a little slow, but after I mentioned it, someone was immediately called to fix it. The breakfast was plentiful and unique; the apple juice was delicious. I asked the waiter if it had sugar or honey, and he said it was pure juice. The lemon cake and apple pie were also excellent. The staff were polite and attentive. This was the only non-five-star hotel I stayed at during my nearly one-month trip to Europe, but it was the most stunning. I saw a breathtaking sunset over the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius bathed in sunlight. I will definitely come back next time.

I had such a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel Aminta. The service was excellent from start to finish – the staff were always attentive and reliable. The shuttle service in particular stood out: it ran at different hours, always on time without a single delay, and was spotless every ride.

Breakfast was a highlight for me – the cappuccino and coffee were especially good, easily some of the best I’ve had on a trip. I also planned a small birthday surprise for my partner, and the hotel staff carried it out beautifully and very discreetly, which made it extra special.

The location is great, the pool area is lovely with amazing views, and everything was kept very clean throughout our stay. Overall, it felt like real value for money – a mix of comfort, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend it and would happily return.

This was my favorite hotel during my European trip (although I was charged extra upon check-out, I'm still waiting for the bill); 1. The public area faces the volcano directly, the environment is very beautiful. 2. There is a shuttle bus to and from the town, which is very convenient. 3. Although the hotel is quite old, the cleaning staff are practically obsessive about cleanliness, it was very clean.

I spent a week in this hotel and found it to be an exceptional, friendly and polite environment. The hotel is very distinctive and has sitting areas with views that I have rarely seen in my travels. I was on a business trip and was with 12 other people and the entire structure, including the restaurant maitre d', always responded to our needs with a smile and impeccable service.

Fantastic hotel. Great location with great views of the bay, free shuttle to Sorrento, super clean. All the staff are 7 stars, the kindest, most knowledgeable and professional you could ever imagine. The restaurant is very accommodating of my food intolerances. Thank you all.

We have been returning to this structure for almost 10 years and each time we are surprised by the professionalism, cleanliness and kindness of the staff. The kitchen is constantly evolving and each time we enjoy innovative and high-quality dishes. This year we found a new room service manager, very young and very eager to satisfy customers. The panoramic view is really enviable and, frankly, we never tire of admiring the beauty of the sea, Sorrento and the entire Gulf of Naples, you can also see Ischia, in short, we will always return as long as we can afford it.

Beautiful hotel with a wonderful view. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always ready to help. A must-stay at least once.
