Hotel Capri in Sorrento

Our Italian adventure started at Hotel Capri in September 2025 and let me tell you, it was an absolute dream come true! The staff was absolutely fantastic, they welcomed us with open arms and made sure we felt like royalty.

The location was perfect—just a short stroll away from the bus and train station, right in the heart of Sorrento. It was the ideal base for exploring the city.

The hotel’s décor was simply stunning. The colour scheme was beautiful, and everything was spotless and well-presented. It created a truly calming and serene atmosphere that made our 5-night stay even more enjoyable.

And let’s not forget about the breakfast! Oh my goodness, it was absolutely delicious. There was a wide variety of options, from perfectly cooked eggs to crepes, fresh fruit, yummy yoghurt, cakes, and so much more. It was a true feast for the senses!

Teresa, our host, was absolutely incredible. She made sure our stay was nothing short of amazing. She was always there to help us out, pointing us in the right direction when we needed it and making thoughtful suggestions in a quiet and unassuming way.

We can’t recommend Hotel Capri highly enough. It was an absolute gem, and we’ll definitely be back!

Perfect Location and Warm Hospitality!

Capri Hotel Sorrento is in an ideal spot—right near the heart of Sorrento and just a short walk 5 minutes from the central bus and train station. It made getting to tour meetups incredibly easy, which was a huge plus.

The breakfast experience was a great accept the coffee, so I recommend asking specifically for American coffee if you're visiting from the U.S.—the local brew is a little different. That said, everything else was wonderful.

The staff were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well-kept thanks to the warm and thoughtful housekeeping team. The hotel’s decor and color palette create a welcoming, cheerful atmosphere throughout.

I truly loved both the location and the hotel itself. Highly recommended!

Oh, no self laundry!

Stayed 3 nights at this hotel at the end of a 10 day trip in Italy. Received a warm friendly welcome at reception and we were delighted that our room was ready for us earlier than expected.
The hotel is bright, clean, has a large comfortable reception area and has a lovely spa-like feel to it. The location is fantastic - just a very short walk from the train station, shops, harbour and main town square. You can walk anywhere!
Our room was spotlessly clean and had every amenity we needed.
Breakfast was delicious and had a large range of options.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful, lead by the wonderful Teresa Lauro who ensures every guest is well looked after.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sorrento.

Our stay at Hotel Capri was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff was so warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. The hotel itself is spotless, both the lobby and our room were exceptionally clean and maintained.

Breakfast each morning was a highlight! There were so many delicious options to choose from, and we loved being able to order fresh crepes and omelets made right in front of us.

A special thank you to Teresa, who went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable. She continuously checked in on us, helped with anything we needed, and made us feel so cared for. All the staff went out of their way to help us with anything that we needed. We would 100% stay here again!

We had a beautiful stay for our 30th anniversary. The staff were very attentive and helpful & friendly. The manager was lovely, Breakfast superb every day as well as the service we received each morning. The rooms were clean, the pool relaxing. Location was perfect for walking anywhere you want to go. They arranged a transfer for us to the airport which was great! I highly recommend and look forward to returning in the future!

I recently stayed at Hotel Capri in Sorrento with my wife as part of our honeymoon, and it was such a memorable experience. This charming little hotel is beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive.

The staff were a real highlight — so friendly and attentive, always ready with great recommendations for restaurants and lovely spots to visit down by the water. Their kindness really made our stay feel extra special, which was perfect for such an important trip.

Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The pool area is a little on the smaller side, but it was spotless and very well serviced, making it a peaceful place to relax together.

Breakfast each morning was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, with plenty of choice to set us up for the day.

Overall, Hotel Capri was the perfect place for our honeymoon in Sorrento. It combines comfort, cleanliness, and exceptional hospitality, and we couldn’t have asked for a better base to explore the Amalfi Coast. We’d happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone — especially couples looking for a romantic and welcoming place to stay.

We have just returned from a fabulous two weeks in Sorrento and couldn't recommend Hotel Capri more! Thank you to Teresa and the staff at the hotel for making our stay so enjoyable. We loved the atmosphere and ambience of the hotel and enjoyed the amazing selection and variety offered at breakfast. The main thing we loved so much about this hotel was the location - it was perfect for what we needed and would recommend it to anyone wanting to explore Sorrento and other parts of Amalfi coast/Naples! It's so close to the train station and local bus services and also only a short walk from the beautiful town of Sorrento. Thank you again to Teresa and the staff - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We’ve just returned from staying at Hotel Capri for 7 days and we both absolutely loved our time there. From a very efficient check in everything about the hotel was perfect. Teresa, the very attentive Manager, should be very proud of the hotel and especially all the staff. Every single member of staff, from reception to the people on hand at breakfast time, were so cheery, polite and looked after us so well.
We stayed in a Superior Double Room overlooking the pool and gardens. The gardens are full of Lemon Trees and are a delight. The pool is a perfect size and it was so refreshing to dip in there after a searingly hot day out and about in Sorrento.
The choice at breakfast was excellent and the omelettes I had were cooked to order and perfectly made. All the breakfast staff greeted and served us with a genuine smile and nothing was too much trouble for them.
This is our 3rd time in Sorrento and we have stayed in more expensive hotels previously, but when we return in the future, we wouldn't hesitate to stay at Hotel Capri again.
