I stayed at the hotel with my girlfriend. The hotel is absolutely great: it is full of amenities, offers many services and the staff is very friendly and kind. the rooms are well furnished. the swimming pool with sea water inside the hotel stands out. the prices fully reflect the quality of the services offered. a great choice for those who do not want to give up elegance and luxury

4 days stay with my wife. Very elegant building in the style of the beginning of the last century, but with modern and functional services. Located in several buildings connected to each other, it has a seawater swimming pool and gardens where you can also have lunch. The breakfast area in the garden patio is particularly pleasant. Exceptional location, in the middle of the two bays of Sestri Levante. I particularly appreciated the quality and variety of food, the availability and attention of the staff (I am temporarily disabled and therefore more attentive to some details). and the silence, despite the central location. We needed to spend a few days in comfort and tranquility: we were spoiled!

Exemplary, world-class service from every staff member at the hotel. Truly impressive. Pool is beautiful. Location can’t be beat.
Only con is that air conditioning definitely needs improvement/replacement. Ceiling fans are also basically useless, and wobble around precariously.

This is a joke of a “4 star” hotel.
We paid 250€ in average for a night in a small room. The AC is broken. The fan in the room is super loud. The whole bathroom is full of mold. The TP holder is a crappy peace of plastic. There is a ton of dummy light switches that are irritating and do not work. Zero view from the balcony. WIFI is slow. The breakfast area is quite nice. The selection of food is not 4 star worthy. E.g. They serve the cheapest juice one can get - maybe it contains 1% fruits. The people at the reception are not friendly.

My husband and I got married in Sestri Levante on 2nd June 2024. We hosted an aperitif welcome party the day before in the Restaurant Esedra, on the beautiful patio. The event was exceptional with attentive staff, excellent food and drinks.
As for the hotel itself, the interiors are gorgeous old Italian classic style with a splendid pool. We were so grateful to be upgraded to a suite by the hotel and our room was gorgeous, with high painted ceilings.
We cannot thank Cristina and her team enough for making us feel so welcomed and being so attentive to our needs during our wedding weekend.

The best parts about this hotel are its grounds (beautiful pool area, restaurant, roof terrace and well-kept gardens) and its location right near the Bay of Silence.
The rooms were not quite as nice and a bit outdated - although we did get a cheaper room, so maybe this would have been solved if we’d paid more (but then I’m not sure it would have been very good value for money).
Our room in particular had a very old ceiling fan that was so comically loud that it couldn’t be used, which was a shame because they hadn’t turned the AC on yet when we visited in late May. It wasn’t unbearable, but the room was a bit stuffy and there was too much street noise to leave the windows open. From about 6am, we got the constant sound of garbage trucks backing up and dumping bottles, so the location of your room is something to consider if you’re a light sleeper.

I spent four fantastic days at Hotel Due Mari in April 2024 while attending an event with a large group of international guests. My room, pre-assigned by the conference organizers, was small but cozy. The staff, a great mix of experienced old-school professionals and energetic young people, provided exceptional service. The food was superb, and they went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, including those related to my dog and parking. Special thanks to Cristina for her outstanding service.

This hotel has a great ambiance and takes me back to an era I only recognize in films from the 50s. Quaint, traditional, simple and classy accomidations it is hidden from view of main street and yet has so much to offer with private gardens, private pool, and resturant for both breakfast and dinner options. We will becoming back and I highly recommend this hotel for those that value traditions, quiet, and seek and appreciate a classic film in black and white.
