Hotel Bel Soggiorno

Amazing views and lovely staff !! If you book room 22-23-24 you will have this huge terrasse to yourselves (picture 1). 10 min walk and you are in the city centre. Lovely indoor area too if the weather isn’t the best.

We booked this hotel for 3 nights, but we stayed for 4 nights because we liked the hotel so much. The view, location, breakfast were wonderful. I would also like to thank the staff, they were all very helpful. My only negative comment would be for the beds. The beds were very uncomfortable, we woke up early almost every day and our back hurt. But I didn't want to deduct points for this. I hope the old beds will be changed next time we come.

Very beautiful surroundings. Great services and including staff. Breakfast was fantastic. Wonderful gardens in which you can walk around to see variety flowers.

We had a great stay in Taormina. We stayed in two different rooms at the Soggiorno and For the price of the rooms we felt it was good value. The location was excellent. Mid way between beach and old town. Lots of steps in this city unless you take a taxi. We loved the exercise! The staff were accommodating and they even offered us the honeymoon cabin for our last night. The breakfast was a nice every morning but bring your sunglasses as the breakfast room is extremely sunny! The views are stunning and you can see Mt Etna from the window too! Our second room seemed to be more updated and larger and we liked the room better but it was a courtyard view. The first had the patio with incredibly views. Both were what you would expect for a hotel its age. Quaint.

Fantastic stay at this hotel. Definitely top 5 hotels I have ever stayed in and would love to come back to. The building is decorated in Sicilian style, has sea view rooms and is within walking distance to the center of Taormina. The room we stayed in was larger than average and had a shared terrace on top floor. Service at reception and breakfast was great. Good selection of breakfast. Could not ask for anything more. Staying at Bel Soggiorno was definitely the highlight of our trip in Sicily.

The hotel is a gem and I have seen a few in my career as travel expert. The position, the views and the rich breakfast are surely among the top features here. However, I appreciate the staff more than anything : they went the extra mile everytime I had a request. They are kind, thoughfull and attentive to guests needs. The hotel feels like home, old and full of charm, a step back in time. Do not expect top notch furniture or facilities, but instead a unique place with a great vibe and positive energy ❤️

This hotel is located on a beautiful spot within a marvelous garden overlooking the sea and offers an amazing view to the Etna Vulcano from many areas and some rooms. Located in walking distance from the city center (some steps and a little walk), the hotel is a perfect place to stay both for city explorers and beach visits. Beware that several rooms do NOT offer sea or Etna view, so definitely make sure you book a room with these features, it's absolutely worth it! Breakfast is served in a grand Terrasse or outside with amazing view and is very well done, there's a variety of choices. There is a piano in the grand hall if you want to play. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and offer their support for transfers, Etna tours and general questions and are always very helpful and friendly. The beach can be reached by climbing down several stairs, so beware if you are not a fit walker. The rooms are not luxurious but very clean and offer wall safe and WiFi. For those needing a dark room to sleep, the rooms have perfect blinds and are pitch black at night. We stayed 7 days and can highly recommend this hotel, however keep in mind to book a room with sea and/or Etna view, as there are rooms facing the back side as well with no view at all.

Very nice hotel with beautiful gardens that overlook the sea. Breakfast on the terrace was wonderful. Rooms are small, but efficient. Friendly staff. Would recommend and would certainly stay again.

A lovely hotel situated around 10 minutes walk from the town centre. It’s an older hotel but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is on the terrace with gorgeous views and plenty delicious food. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. There is free parking albeit a bit of a squeeze. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Bel Soggiorno.
