Eurostars Monte Tauro

We had the most horrible experience possible. I believe the good reviews are paid or made by friends of the staff, as the reality is very much different vs what the positive reviews say. The hotel is not 4 stars, the experience is that of an old, outdated place, i will attach photos so other people do not be scammed as we were. It seems the hotel was not renovated since 2008, litterally (i found this info on a website) The hallways look like in a hospital. The floors and the furniture in the rooms also looks bad. The receptionist Giovanni was extremely rude and unhelpful. It was the worst experience with a recptionist I ever had. We had issues with the parking - at the hotel there was no sign that parking is not allowed or ask the reception or something else to indicate to pay attention or do something, and when we wanted to leave we could not as there were other vehicles parked and blocked the exit. We asked for some help to identify who bloked us and what is to be done, but the receptionist told he is alone, he litterally does not care about our situation and it is our fault alone we did not say at the reception at the arrival that we have a car, yet nobody asked us about the car despite the fact that they saw us entering their parking and parking there! Also at our arrival we were not welcomed as we should at a 4 stars hotel, he (the same receptionist) only handed us the key. All in all, from the aspect of furniture, walls and floors, the noise that awaken us early in the morning (before 7 am) from the luggages carried on the floor (no carpets at all on the hallway floor!) and the service at the level of “i don’t care; it’s your problem” a horrible experience, where we have paid price for 4 stars and received services for 2 stars.

Bath dirty, hairs in Bath called reception and nothing was done.
Room very dirty, towels need updating.
Breakfast staff Lovely especially Rita and Rosaria.

Unbelievable! We booked a premium room couple of months in advance. Upon arrival a very rude girl first tried to give us a room a category below we booked. After we pointed out the mistake and asked for a change, she gave us the worst possible room is a category closer to initially booked. Both times we made our way with all our luggage with zero help. After the third attempt we finally got the initially booked, but with a wrong bed type. This is the worst service I experienced in Italy! This hotel never again!
