Hotel Villa Chiara

Only dilapidated hotel and owner to say the least embarrassing. After having stayed from 13 to 20 August 2022 at an excessive price for what it offers you. Let's start with the poor breakfast for a 4-star hotel. I ran into the owner full of herself and with a prosopopoeia that leaves you blown away. In fact, I reminded him that a family cannot get up early to be able to have a breakfast without running out of croissants, donuts etc. For those who want to have a savory breakfast with cold cuts or other, I guarantee you that it is better to go to a B&B. The fruit no comments, Pineapple in a jar. As for the beach service, they have an agreement with the Piccolo Faro managed by Mr. Angelo. Too bad that the paid service includes an umbrella and two deckchairs in the last row close to a playground where you certainly cannot relax.
It is also the only establishment to offer you sunbeds instead of deck chairs with an additional daily surcharge. The car park is also subject to a fee (€ 5.00 per day), not guarded and not even under video surveillance. They also thought well that every time to enter or to leave you have to call the reception (even at night), which opens the gate for you with the remote control. TO THE QUESTION: "LOOK OUT THAT IN ORDER TO BE A 4-STAR HOTEL AND ALSO EXPENSIVE, IT SHOULD PROVIDE AND LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMER. CANNOT A PRETENTIOUS PERSON WHO HAS CHOSEN TO STAY IN A 4-STAR HOTEL, STAY AT THE LAST ROW OF UMBRELLAS ON THE ROAD IN RIDOS CANNOT PROVIDE A VERY SCANDALOUS BREAKFAST.

BUT THE OWNER'S ANSWER EVEN MORE DISONCERTING WAS:
"LOOK MY DEAR LORD THAT THE 4 STARS OF THIS HOTEL IS NOT DIFFERENT ONLY FROM WHAT YOU REFERRED TO BUT IT WAS ESPECIALLY CONSIDERED BECAUSE WE HAVE THE SPA (WELLNESS CENTER WITH FEE).
WITH THIS ANSWER I HAVE STOPPED.
THE ONLY POSITIVE NOTE IS THE STAFF WHO DO EVERYTHING TO ARGINATE AND SUFFER THE EVIDENT PROBLEMS.
BELIEVE ME AVOID THIS HOTEL WHICH IS AT MAXIMUM TWO STARS AND AT WHAT PRICE!

Booked a single room at 115 euros per night for a week since they DEMAND that this is the MINIMUM stay. They call me back after THREE days saying that they no longer have single rooms and that the solution they are proposing is a single room, not a single room ( !!!!!!??????) for the modest sum of 160 euros (note that the double room tells me such a lady Gabriella costs 180). Very incorrect. Three days to realize you were wrong??????????? But go and make fun of your home, not the customers who trust ( trusted) your beautiful words! Sun at 3pm the single is there: Wednesday at 2pm the same person with whom I had booked 7 days at 115 calls me and suddenly the single no longer exists.!!!!!!! WHAT PROFESSIONALS!!!!! Three days to realize that the singles are no longer available?????????? Or maybe there is something else???? And then ... not a mistake of a few euros but the big difference of 45 euros !!!!!!! Well done! Round of applause for you!

Standard room near the reception and not at all soundproof.Rest times are not respected, air conditioning not programmable by the guests, we asked for a double blanket, as in April it is still too cold to sleep only with the sheet they made us find on the bed 2 single covers that did not even cover us up to the feet.Wifi absent. As reported by us on arrival, early departure for an unforeseen ...... And luckily !!! Another night between noises and frost, I would have preferred to sleep in the car !!!! To never again!!!!
