Le Petit Hotel in Torino

I was very offended when I arrived to check in and was asked if I was new housekeeper. Really I have 2 degrees and RN in USA. The hotel house keeper walked in 3 times without knocking just used her keys and walked inside. I told her please don't do it again and she ignored me. I wonder if she was trying to steal something and didn't expect me to be inside the room.

The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location—situated near all the main attractions and practically on St. Mark’s Square. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was deeply disappointing.

The rooms are old, outdated, and poorly maintained. My room smelled strongly of cigarettes, and I had to push back hard with the staff to get a replacement. Even then, the new room was still dated and had a moldy atmosphere. The beds were uncomfortable, featuring defective spring coil mattresses that sagged into a U-shape, making any back issues worse. Additionally, the outdated practice of leaving your key at the reception desk felt inconvenient and insecure.

The worst part, however, was the breakfast, which is supposedly served from 7:00 to 10:00 AM. The quality and variety of the food were abysmal. There was no fresh fruit, only overly sweetened artificial juices, and the bread was stale. When I arrived at 9:15 AM, I asked for a second hard-boiled egg, only to be rudely told by the breakfast attendant that it was too late and the food would not be replenished. Her attitude was shockingly unfriendly; she seemed entirely unhappy to be there and made me feel like an inconvenience.

I cannot recommend this hotel. For the price you’ll pay, there are far better options in Turin that provide superior accommodations and service.

Room was ok. But this toilet? Who the hell is using something like this... Breakfast was low quality and the caffee... The worst one i have ever had in a budget hotel.
