Hotel Rocca Della Sena in Tropea

This hotel was one of the best parts of our 9-day vacation in Italy. The hotel, staff, location, our room--everything was THE BEST. Much love to Selena, Giorgia & Paola for making our stay extra enjoyable (we should always be remembered as the twosome who lost the phone battery on the roof!) We couldnt ask for anything more than we received from your hotel, hospitality and the beautiful setting of Tropea. GRAZIE! (PS: for those considering the deluxe suite with balcony overlooking the ocean--do it! You wont be disappointed!)

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Rocca Della Sena. The views from our room and balcony were absolutely incredible. The bed was very comfortable and facilities were kept absolutely spotless. Our time in Tropea was made extra special thanks to the help of the hotel’s amazing staff who did everything possible to ensure we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. A special thank you to Georgia for all of your recommendations of the best restaurants, beach clubs and boat tours and to all the staff for your excellent communication and availability to book and organise everything for us. Just a short walk to the beaches and town centre. Highly recommended

The staff was incredible! Beautiful views of the sunset and Stromboli. We enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evenings, chatting with staff, enjoying cold drinks, and watching the sun set. The rooms were both cozy and beautiful. Great location - close to the beach and the town. We loved our stay at Rocca Della Sena!

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Rocca Della Sena. From the moment we arrived, Selena and all the staff made us feel so welcome, everyone was incredibly friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, with great air conditioning.

The hotel has absolutely stunning panoramic views of the coast and in good location, just a short walk to the beach and town centre. You can enjoy the views over breakfast, while having coffee on the balcony or during a relaxing dip in the pool.

Next time I’ll definitely book a room with a sea view, it’s out of this world. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tropea.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and relaxed at Hotel Rocco Della Sena. We were greeted by Selena who showed us around the beautiful property. Our room was lovely, comfortable and clean. The air conditioning was perfect. Every staff member was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. The view of the coast from the hotel is stunning and the location made it very easy to walk to both the beach and downtown Tropea. I would not stay anywhere else. Hotel Rocca Della Sena is a gem!

A wonderful hotel in a great location. 5 minutes walk from the center of town and just far enough to be quiet and tranquil. Room was clean, cool and extremely comfortable with a fantastic view. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful from the cappuccino and freshly squeezed orange juice to the excellent bread and pastries and the eggs, bacon and all the wonderful local cold cuts and cheese. Staff is friendly, helpful and incredibly upbeat. We parked right out front for free and walked everywhere. Definitely will go back!

So far the best hotel of this trip in Italy. Large, comfortable room with safe, great Wi-Fi, pleasant temperature, as well as climate control. View from the hotel and room -directly over the sea, it is possible to see the Stromboli from afar. I saw the sunset almost over the sea, but closer to summer the sunset occurs directly over the sea, and even over Stromboli in August. Buffet-style breakfast, but the guest chooses and they bring whatever is requested: they have prosecco, cheeses, ricotta, breads, yogurt, croissant, eggs, freshly squeezed orange juice, etc. For all tastes, savory or sweet Italian . Staff: attentive, helpful, friendly. They are to be congratulated and I thank everyone. Every night I would ask for a chamomile tea to sleep and they would prepare it with all hospitality. Consierge: book tours and taxi to train station or port. Anyway, perfect.

Great hotel. Staff was great. Breakfast was very good. The views from the terrace were spectacular. An easy walk to town with many good restaurant. Romyna and Sarena were happy to arrange activities (boat trips, food/wine tours etc) which were great. Would love to return

I spent a very relaxing week at Hotel Rocca Della Sena in Tropea. The location could not been better, very close to the historic town centre yet very quiet. The terrace has a superb view to the sea. Breakfast was lovely, varied, and the staff extremely friendly and professional. It was a pleasure to spend time there and I will certainly be back with the family or alone!
