This hotel is great for those taking train since it’s just walking distance. However the reception is pretty rude.. when we came one girl mentioned it’s 9 Euro tax to be paid upon check out then on the check out another rude Italian guy said it was 14 euro and we only had 10. They do not accept card. We had to rush to convert money from another hotel nearby and we had a train to catch within 10 minutes. It was 7.30am and most of the shops were closed. My husband went to find the hotel he recommended to change money and I told this guy I’ll start walking towards the train station and to inform my husband. His luggage was still there but this guy started saying he will call the Police if I leave. Seriously is this how you treat your guests? He is on the morning shift on 23 Oct 2024. Tall guy with black/brown hair. Please don’t keep people like him who will ruin your business. Thanks to him he left a bitter taste to our wonderful trip to Venice.

Great location. Nearby to train station. You dont wanna walk with your luggage in Venice, trust me.
Staff was kind. Hotel has retro vibes. I loved retro vibe. Probably because of its actually old esthablishment. Since hotel is old, some wear is noticable on the carpets or walls. But bed and shower was clean thats all important to me. Room is moderate big. Ac worked good. Elevator doesnt go all the way up, and so small. I didnt bother. For this price, its good choice.

There was no air flow in the room and the 'ac' unit didn't seem to work. We opened the window and got tore up by mosquitos at night. BUT the location is great especially for travelers bringing way too many suitcases that you have to walk.
The breakfast in the morning was the best we had in Italy.

The staff were really kind to me and even made me food because I was leaving early. The hotel is in an ideal location. The breakfast were just fine. The rooms are a bit shabby but that is reflected in the price it is a 3 star hotel not the ritz. Again the staff were most helpful.

Style is early bordello. Staff is not so friendly and the breakfast not so good. But the location is terrific. Very easy access to train station and to the water busses. I would stay here again for the convenience of getting around.

DO NOT BOOK HERE
pay the extra and go somewhere better, the receptionist was extremely rude arguing and fighting with everyone when we came in. I have never seen something like this in my life .if you ask something politely he will still go on a rant with you, as if they took someone from the street to put as receptionist. The remaining staff ok no problem the walls of the room smells like cat litter. Ac is controlled by them and for the summer heat they barely put it on so you will cook in the room. Absolutely horrible, the only good thing is the location but be prepared if you book over there.

If I could give it less than one start I would. My partner and I booked this hotel for three nights and to be close to the train station. We checked in got taken to the very back of the hotel up two flights of stairs with our luggage no elevator on that side of the building. As we arrived in our room I spotted three green beetle crawling up the curtains and a non working air con. As we sat down another beetle flew down from the ceiling and landed on us. We went down to reception and asked to switch rooms. The response we got was that there was a room for 4 people available for the night however it is reserved for a family the following night and we would have to move. She then offered another room that she admitted the air con was not working. We asked other people staying and they also said their air con was stuck on 23 degrees and they could not change it. The rooms had mould in the tapestry you sit on the bed and dust just comes out from it. It is old and run down. Not even an hour in the hotel and we left and I emailed the company and of course no compensation, no refund and no recognition for the problems going on in this hotel. We found a beautiful hotel 80 metres down the road, they absolutely looked after us and very last minute as well. Please do not book here it is not worth feeling uncomfortable and in filth.

The hotel is a fast 5 min walk from the train station and 10 min from the airport bus. When we arrived the toilet didn't flush and the front desk did not fix it over the whole day even though they said they would. We were leaving early next morning so didn't push the issue. They did offer a to go breakfast since we left before breakfast opened in the morning which was appreciated.

Hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from the train station. Plenty of restaurants, shops, and bars within walking distance.
The rooms are serviceable for the price. Hotel staff is hit or miss. The Italian gentleman was very polite and helpful. The women with dark hair and glasses was less helpful.

Hotel location is very good. Both train station and bus terminal are in walking distance. 24 hour reception was an added advantage as we reached after mid night. We had checked with some other hotels where late check in was not possible. AC was not working. Good for one night stay.
