We were looking for accommodation near the train station and Hotel Abbazia is perfect for that. While the rooms may be a little worn, ours was clean and comfortable. The staff was outstanding, very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Very closer to the railway station. Manager and staff are very friendly, jovial and friendly. The double room doesn't merit the amount charged. Not spacious at all. The least said about the breakfast the better; never did we have varieties of fruits except two different types of apples, which was not good at all during our four nights stay. There were bananas on our last morning breakfast. Guess what??? They weren't ripe for immediate consumption. No boiled eggs and / or scrambled eggs were offered. Cheese and ham that are offered for breakfast were unfortunately not openly presented; When you are observant, u would be seeing some hotel guests eating them before you can demand your portion/share. Thumb up for the Croissants and Cappuccino. I share this because, I like delicious breakfast, which was absolutely missing during our stay. There must be some improvements to merit it all. Thanks

Nice rooms, great staff. A couple of things to be aware of:
- My room didn't have a shower, just a tub. Some people I chatted with said their room had a shower. If that matters to you, ask.
- No elevator. If you'll have a lot of baggage, ask for a room on a lower floor.
I generally liked the breakfast, but the orange juice was so watered down that I switched to just water after two tries.
In general, though, nice place and very enjoyable stay!

It's an wonderful hotel, with a beautiful garden! The hotel staff is very kind to show courtesy and professionalism. Recommended!

Good value for money. Extremely well located if you are visiting Venice by train. Very friendly reception staff. Our room was a little small but fine seeing as we were out and about most of the time. Only thing negative was the warning lights right above the bed! Nice garden area. We'd stay here again.

My wife and I spent the last three days of our first trip to Italy in Venice, staying at Hotel Abbazia about one month ago. It is a historic hotel with delightful atmosphere and good service and amenities. Breakfasts were good. The pastries were wonderful. But the absolute best was the customer service. I left a money belt with cash and a credit card on the bed when we checked out. We were already in the Marco Polo Airport when I realized the mistake. When I called, the hotel knew of the errant money belt. It was securely kept until the conscientious staff, especially Beatrice, could get it shipped home. I was very impressed. Kudos for a job well done.
