Hostels in Venice

Stayed in a 1 bedroom ensuite, bed was a single so a bit small since I'm a tall person and the shower was also pretty small too. Like most places there was no air conditioning either. Other then those 3 negatives, wonderful place to stay, fantastic view offered by the terrace where you can chill with byo and the staff are extremely friendly. Easy to get to from St marks square, one 18 minute ferry...

Excellent quality for what it costs. Had the twin room for a one night stay. It offers more than enough room for 2 persons, there are fans to cope with the heat and the private bathroom is a big plus. Nice staff as well with best English language skills I've seen in Italy so far. For people new to Venice: keep in mind that this hostel is located on the part of Venice only reachable by boat.

Great hostel. Cheap, good location and friendly staff. Good view of Venice from the rooftop. They offer a two hours free tour in Venice and the guide, Ola, was amazing! However, we stayed in the ground floor and sometimes it was very noisy.

It was a quite nice hostel, I stayed 4 nights in 2018. The price was also affordable for solo travelers. The location is superb and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was clean and has very sufficient cutlery for a long stay. The bathrooms are shared. The best hostel I've ever stayed at hands down. Super clean, great view. Most of all Mali Is the sweetest human being alive. I can not say enough good things about her, she is just wonderful. I'm for sure going to stay again

The hostess was very accommodating to my schedule for check-in, and provided a map where she highlighted some really good trips to do! Everything was clean and neat, and the place is right next to a water bus station. The best hostel experience I’ve had hands-down, I will be back someday!

A nice little hostel with pleasant staff, at moderate prices!

Silk Road was one of the nicest hostels I've ever been to - it was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s good for young guys and solo travelers. It’s budget friendly and good location accessible to restaurants, train and bus stations.

Modern, clean and close to Mestre FS. Rooms are poorly designed though (no privacy curtains, bathroom sinks right next to beds). Large common area which is unfortunately completely locked down for parties on Friday nights (no access to the kitchen or laundry room). Towel rental 5€. Great for groups looking to socialize/party.

Everything was good. Breakfast was good. The coffee machines have too many options. Which was really cool. Securities was doing their job 10/10. Also receptionist guy was cute.

Clean, great that hairdryer was provided. Location very convenient, just a 2 min walk from Mestre train station and flixbus stop. Note that you'll need to bring your own padlock for the lockers. Only downside was the bathroom floor tended to flood a little, but overall pleasant and comfortable stay

All in all a good accommodation in a good location. However I've been to hostels with better bed to toilet ratios. Each room of 6 beds only has 2 sinks, one shower and one toilet

Very clean, very friendly host. Far from the main tourist areas and hard to find. On the 3rd floor of some messed up steps. Bring a backpack only. Room very basic but big. Bathroom clean and big.

Nice hotel about 20 mins from the train station by walking.The lady over there Ms. Claudia has been so nice as we missed our first night during our trip to Venice she gave us voucher refund for our non-refundable booking!! We stayed in a attic room for 3 nights. What a rush to stay in a old Palace with in walking distance of everything. I would highly recommend it. Not for someone who has trouble walking stairs.

Booked a room for four people; ample space. Breakfast was standard European breakfast; strong wifi, furnishings a little pale in color, could use an update. Nice staff. Entrance is confusing, it's off to the side of the building in the alley.

Very spacious rooms with accommodating staff. They aren't always on site so this is something to be aware of. The breakfast is nice and I recommend the ham and cheese toasties. The coffee is great and the rooms are well kept. Check out is at 10:30 though which did seem a bit early.

Hostel we booked through Airbnb. The location is really great and actually not so hard to find. The host is nice and keeps the place clean, well maintained and the kitchen well equiped. Rooms are spacious. However, they face the busy street, so expect some noise. The WiFi is okay, but nothing fancy. For the price this is all good. Absolutely loved it. The prices are very competitive and you will get the best view of Venice from this place. Shabir is very friendly and I would love to come again to stay. Recommended for all budget travellers. Both the toilets are kept very clean and kitchen is very nicely equipped to cook and enjoy! Stayed for about 10 days with my family and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Rooms are clean, decently sized and comfortable with stunning views. Staff is very friendly and helpful too, breakfast is fantastic!

I rarely give 5 stars but if you want a place that provides the ambience of the place you are visiting, this is it. Right on the canal, close to ferry to see the sites, restaurants and shops within walking distance. Excellent hosts.the check in closes at 7 PM so be very sure you read all the information provided. This B&B was a great place to stay while in Venice. I was amazed that we found such a good hotel so close to all major attractions at such a good price. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our every need. I asked for help in arranging a water taxi to the hotel from the train station and the staff handled the request swiftly, gave explicit directions about where to meet the taxi, even double...

Excellent location. Very quiet, delightfully old-fashioned apartment. Charming person who speaks excellent French. The ice creams from Nico on the nearby zattere are really excellent.

It's hard to get to the main door you have to go through a narrow alley. Overall, great location, everything is close enough. Large breakfasts delicious coffee generally recommend to all travelers to Venice. Value for money as the most appropriate.

Very good experience in this accommodation a few meters from the Zattere stop, the bus boats. Lots of restaurants and ice cream parlors/cafes nearby. We were on the 2nd floor without a lift, the bathroom was small but functional, a large room with a flat screen where we had breakfast which was very generous, good quality products... Very good service with calm stay

Location is perfect, especially for visiting Biennale pavilions at Giardini and Arsenale. Vaporeto stops are few minutes from the flat and there is a beautiful greenhouse cafe in the park around the corner. Via Garibaldi with beautiful bars and restaurants, shops and fish market, is just a minute away. The current adress (Corte del Magazen, 748) is now the correct one. Very nice quite place. Good bed, shower, wifi and breakfast. Very polite and nice service.

The building was cold when we first arrived, but it was quickly heated using the AC system. It is ideally located only 2 mins from the vapertetto. And only 3 mins from a great pair of bars the ruffelo and satini.
