The pool isn’t great for swimming laps, but what a wonderful pool for lounging and taking in the view! it was hot, like a hot tub!!! The highlight of this hotel is the restaurants

This hotel is SO beautiful, the decor and ambiance is perfect. The service was above and beyond excellent. The food was top notch with a Michelin star chef even helping with the fancy breakfast

Love this beautiful gem! The staff are all exceptional! I believe they meet daily to share about their guests, so no detail is overlooked. The room was lovely with a beautiful view

The only surprise was having a bar directly across from our room, in the building across the street, the music could be quite loud

The hotel couldn't be closer to the sea, you just cross the street and you're at the promenade

Good hotel directly on the beachside. Nice, new renovated rooms with high standard air conditioner. Breakfast a little bit small not that much fresh stuff, maybe needs a bit cucumber or tomatoes and eggs / bacon

Viareggio is beautiful and this hotel is near the beach. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast tastes great but a little limited in choices and the chairs are not very comfortable

The stay was amazing, starting from the super clean, air-conditioned, nicely smelling room to the delicious breakfasts served at the rooftop terrace. The staff was so welcoming, helpful and polite, we really felt welcome

My room was very clean, modern and well furnished and the hotel bedrooms bathrooms and reception is equipped to a very high standard. I will be booking here again when next in Viareggio in October

I really enjoyed my stay here, the room was lovely and clean. There was a lot of choice for breakfast including bacon and scrambled egg. It is right on the sea front close to the marina and pier

Great stay at Hotel Eden! The staff has been exceptionally kind and helpful during our stay here. Morning breakfast is simple, but delicious. The location of the hotel could not be better

Bikes to lend are free, but most of them more or less broken :) Wifi also free and running well. Free private parking however is a real pro in the area. And sea view from the balconies that have it really great

A great looking hotel situated in a wonderful area just by the beach, with free parking, free Wi-Fi and free breakfast. The rooms look really good - bathrooms can use an update

Recommended for a week or so, if sea view room available, but 100Euro for double room should be enough

Quite good for a 3 star hotel. Newly refurbished, room size is decent, breakfast better than expected (although not amazing) Use of bikes too

The only major problem is the balcony door - if you're on the balcony and the door closes, there's no way to open it so you're stuck there until you call the front desk to set you free

Rooms quite nice, good furnished, hotel lovely decorated and maintained, but not as quiet as they pretend, cause next to a very frequented transit road

Well, first off, the hotel is beautiful along the main drive, facing the beach & the beautiful sea. The whole area is just lovely. I loved all of the murals & paintings in the hotel

There is a relaxed, yet sophisticated, vibe. I highly recommend having the mixed seafood & the potato donut with truffles @ their Deco Restaurant. The rooftop terrace is wonderful & a perfect spot to watch the sunset

Only one complaint hardly any bars open near the hotel and it was a long walk to find one being it was just out of season. There is a supermarket just around the corner on the front which is very good

The hotel is ideally located on the promenade with lovely sea views from the rooftop bar and easy walking distance to the centre. Would certainly recommend and we hope to return

One of my friends room was huge but had a super small bathroom and the ac didn’t work. Central to all the shops across the street, restaurants and retail AND the beach. So you have to weigh the trade offs here

The bedroom was located at the side of the hotel with a spacious feel due to the high ceiling. Very nicely furnished with large double wardrobe, comfortable king size bed and subtle lighting supplied by decorative lamps

Excellent location, a stone's throw from the sea and the promenade. Polite and highly qualified staff. Exceptional cleanliness in the room! The restaurant offers delicious meat and fish dishes

Be advised that the spa facilities are actually closed on performance days though. Friendly, accommodating staff and beautiful public spaces as well

We went to Viareggio for Carnevale and this hotel was the perfect place to view the festivities while unwinding at the spa between performances

Very cool hotel, good food, nice staff, beach is literally opposite to the hotel so there's no need to walk alot to go swimming in sea. There's also swimming pool(s).

I liked pretty much everything. The room was quite confy and with a lovely view, the food in the restaurant was delicious! The location right next to the beach is just perfect.

Lovely modern, clean hotel in a great location. Seaview rooms have a fantastic view. Swimming pool and spa great too. Large variety of food for buffet breakfast including continental and cooked

Great location with easy access to the beach and bus service. Pool is safe and adult sun area gives the extra calmness required while relaxing

The hotel is located in an area where the beach is privatized and you do not see the water. We drove across the 'beach' for around half hour and the sea was nowhere to be found

I was worried about missing the air conditioning but the tall rooms and centralised air system made the expected temperature

Historical hotel in the grande early twentieth century style. Maintains the tradition of excellent staff and grandiose surroundings. Perfectly positioned right on the sea front just steps away from restaurants and shops

Annita beach opposite hotel is private for hotel guests. Lots of beds and chairs with parasols. The cafe bar there is great for light lunches and very good value. We came with Jet2holidays, transfer included

This is a handsome and imposing hotel on the Promenade. It has excellent facilities - in particular, the breakfast offer and the swimming pool - and the room was spacious, comfortable and well-appointed

Pool area surrounded by garden. Lots of beds available with staff to help with beds/chairs. Friendly welcoming staff who remember your drink preferences! Would highly recommend

We were on the third floor and were fortunate enough to have a good sea view. This added to the delight of our room. Staff were most friendly, engaging and very helpful

The room was spacious, overlooking the mountains, with large flat-screen TV, air conditioning, piped music and, most important, always clean. The smaller pool with the adjacent large playground was ideal for my son

Affiliated beach clean and very close, shame about the only flaw which is the sea but it is certainly no one's fault

in short, if like me you want to take a holiday in Versilia it is an excellent solution at a not exorbitant price. despite the fact that the hotel, especially in the first few days, was almost full, it was not crowded

Good welcome, all the promised services are there and even more, I have big boys but the courtesy of all the staff involves us from start to finish

The place needs some renovations but we stayed only one night and was really ok. The receptionist was nice and guide us to the nice beach and restaurants

Hotel in an excellent position, the strong point is the beach reserved also for hotel guests with chair and deckchair included in the price (free sunbed on the first day and, if necessary, you can pay for the sunbed also for the following days)

Another plus is the possibility to eat in the restaurant on the beach, where the food is really great! You can also eat well in the hotel, but a positive note certainly concerns the dessert trolley: superb !! One of the few hotels where the desserts are all strictly homemade, and this is definitely noticeable !! Also noteworthy is the free parking of the hotel

The hotel is in a wonderfull position right in front of the seaside. The rooms are very comfortable, spatious and clean. The bathroom is large, too. The personnel is very gentle and the service is perfect.

The hotel is central, not 5 mins from the beach. The staff have been exceptional in their attention and service. The reception staff, courteous and helpful, especially Ylenia

The roof top restaurant is first class in both service and also the food, which was exquisite

I had an amazing experience in this wonderful bar. The location and the ambience are great, in fact one of the nicest in the entire Viareggio. I had the pleasure of speaking and being served by Angra ( just amazing)

Very nice hotel! Great location just on the corner of the boulevard. The room was way larger than expected (we had a room including a small kitchen). The windows all had blinds which made sleeping very comfortable

Everyone made an effort to speak to us in English and we made an effort to reply in Italian (we can safely say their English was far more impressive than our Italian). The service was excellent overall

This hotel has very good location, because it is near the beach and sea. It is only a few steps. Room was big and clean. Breakfast was good. You can park your car near the hotel on the big free parking place.

There is free parking on the street but it's first come first serve and there are at least 3 more hotels on the road. Their parking is on the side of the hotel in the ally and fits 5 or 6 cars

It is very close to the boardwalk but the"view" from the rooms isn't worth paying extra for. The rooms are super clean, it has memory foam beds, and a great breakfast with a large variety

Very close to beach! Actually, most of the beach is not free in Viareggio but the Hotel Marchionni is just opposite the public beach and you can walk and enjoy the sun and swim by the sandy beach

It was a really nice hotel with art nouveau style interior design and the unique elevator that I have never seen before. Service and all the hotel workers are very polite and helpful

Food excellent at breakfast, rooms spotlessly clean

Also, someone was vacuuming in the lobby at 9pm and again at 10pm, then again at a later time but i was too tired to check my phone (probably to clean up the carnivale confetti since i didn't hear a vacuum the first night, but i wish they had used a broom since we were trying to sleep)

We booked this hotel last minute the day before and were pleasantly surprised with the room and how great the view was! The rooms are not very fancy and the shower was a bit small but overall I felt that it was great value for the money!
