Be advised that the spa facilities are actually closed on performance days though. Friendly, accommodating staff and beautiful public spaces as well

We went to Viareggio for Carnevale and this hotel was the perfect place to view the festivities while unwinding at the spa between performances

Hotel 5 meters away from the beach (without deck chairs but with chair, bouncer and umbrella), paid parking (€ 7 per day with hotel agreement)! Hearty and well-organized breakfast despite COVID-19 restrictions

nice hotel and convenient for the sea. we went once to Genoa and in 1. 5 hours we were at the aquarium

lunches / dinners nothing special, appetizers a bit poor, first and second courses in the standard but to be reviewed! A little slow but friendly service! Lots of restaurants and bars nearby! Great location!!!

the breakfast really strange with the reservation the day before for covid (and that's fine) but there were 4 of us and they gave us 2 dishes. in short, breakfast could be improved

Great welcome at the reception ( Ilaria was very nice and professional), the room was prepared perfectly and even a little earlier, TNKS! Breakfast was ok, staff was good.

The hotel itself is in a perfect location for visiting the beaches and walking to shops along the beach. The buffet breakfast was gourmet with daily chef specials and wide selection of local foods

Outstanding hotel in a beautiful setting! We stumbled on this hotel through American Express “Fine Hotels & Resorts” after having a poor experience at another “5-star” hotel in Tuscany

From the moment we walked in everything was impeccable. The rooftop pool is gorgeous, the food- phenomenal (especially the breakfast), service was outstanding, and the rooms are beautiful

The room was elegant & spotless-luxurious side sea view, including 2 balconies. The hotel is right across from a beautiful beach promenade, and they have bikes available to borrow to ride, which was a great treat

The entire staff was professional and courteous, the Finnish lady (I have forgotten her name) who works at the pool was so helpful and friendly- The hotel is located about and hour and a half away from the Cinque Terre-we did a day trip there-I highly recommend it and the Hotel Principe di Piemonte! What a special place- I hope to return someday!

The soaps, the towels, the linens, the watera, the valet service, the breakfast buffet, the elevators, the bulgari perfumes given in the bathrooms, the bath robes, the silk robes, the flip-flops, the bed time slippers, the coffee machine, the pool, the restaurants, and the list goes on

Only one complaint hardly any bars open near the hotel and it was a long walk to find one being it was just out of season. There is a supermarket just around the corner on the front which is very good

The staff were lovely and really helpful, the views from the terrace are amazing (although the drinks in the terrace bar are very expensive) and the breakfast was excellent and in a beautiful room

Lovely four star hotel the room we were in was ample big enough for two people, The beds very comfortable , The bathroom had a large walk in shower , meals were very good

Drinks at hotel very expensive a bottle of water 5 euros and we saw the same water in the supermarket for 1

Decently priced rooms, again you get what you pay for. We had breakfast included in our price and it was totally worth it. Fresh fruits and pasties and just everything. Their roof top bar was pretty incredible

All the staff at the Palace Hotel are friendly, helpful, welcoming and couldn’t be better. The hotel has lovely relaxing lounge areas and has a superb location

Very cool hotel, good food, nice staff, beach is literally opposite to the hotel so there's no need to walk alot to go swimming in sea. There's also swimming pool(s).

I liked pretty much everything. The room was quite confy and with a lovely view, the food in the restaurant was delicious! The location right next to the beach is just perfect.

Lovely modern, clean hotel in a great location. Seaview rooms have a fantastic view. Swimming pool and spa great too. Large variety of food for buffet breakfast including continental and cooked

The hotel is in a wonderfull position right in front of the seaside. The rooms are very comfortable, spatious and clean. The bathroom is large, too. The personnel is very gentle and the service is perfect.

Rooms are clean and they are alerted to the Covid-19 rules , everyone wear masks and making sure the guests are following. Without a doubt will be back soon ! Thank you for amazing week :-)

The room was spacious, overlooking the mountains, with large flat-screen TV, air conditioning, piped music and, most important, always clean. The smaller pool with the adjacent large playground was ideal for my son

This is a handsome and imposing hotel on the Promenade. It has excellent facilities - in particular, the breakfast offer and the swimming pool - and the room was spacious, comfortable and well-appointed

We were on the third floor and were fortunate enough to have a good sea view. This added to the delight of our room. Staff were most friendly, engaging and very helpful

This hotel was brilliant, can't fault it. The staff were lovely, waiters, waitresses, maids, reception staff, everyone was so helpful. The meals were scrumptious, puddings too die for, so BIG thanks too chefs

We were able to hire push bikes through the reception and had an enjoyable day's exploring. The hotel is well placed for access to good restaurants and the myriad of shops along the Promenade

I only stayed one night but would gladly return. Best for older generation looking for relax and comfort

Hotel in an excellent position, the strong point is the beach reserved also for hotel guests with chair and deckchair included in the price (free sunbed on the first day and, if necessary, you can pay for the sunbed also for the following days)

Another plus is the possibility to eat in the restaurant on the beach, where the food is really great! You can also eat well in the hotel, but a positive note certainly concerns the dessert trolley: superb !! One of the few hotels where the desserts are all strictly homemade, and this is definitely noticeable !! Also noteworthy is the free parking of the hotel

in short, if like me you want to take a holiday in Versilia it is an excellent solution at a not exorbitant price. despite the fact that the hotel, especially in the first few days, was almost full, it was not crowded

Good welcome, all the promised services are there and even more, I have big boys but the courtesy of all the staff involves us from start to finish

Thanks to the weather we even had the chance to enjoy the sun by the external pool or in the garden loungers. The hotel is very relaxing, you can hear the birds singing in the surroundings trees

We had an incredible stay ! We were there mid-season (april) with our kids. The interior swimming pool was a fantastic asset to have

They were extremely helpful and accommodating. I’d like to particularly reach out to Serena in the Spa for organising hair appointments for us on a Sunday for a special Event. She even dropped us off and picked us up

The overall internal and external of the building is modern and very well kept. Facilities are spot on with plenty to do. They are really friendly and just add to the experience

You had many possibilities to practice sports for example the tennis courts and the fitness studio. The SPA was also really nice and calm. There was always a calming atmosphere

Also, someone was vacuuming in the lobby at 9pm and again at 10pm, then again at a later time but i was too tired to check my phone (probably to clean up the carnivale confetti since i didn't hear a vacuum the first night, but i wish they had used a broom since we were trying to sleep)

We booked this hotel last minute the day before and were pleasantly surprised with the room and how great the view was! The rooms are not very fancy and the shower was a bit small but overall I felt that it was great value for the money!

I had an amazing experience in this wonderful bar. The location and the ambience are great, in fact one of the nicest in the entire Viareggio. I had the pleasure of speaking and being served by Angra ( just amazing)

Very nice hotel! Great location just on the corner of the boulevard. The room was way larger than expected (we had a room including a small kitchen). The windows all had blinds which made sleeping very comfortable

The best part was the service and the product. I'm planning to come back here again

Everyone made an effort to speak to us in English and we made an effort to reply in Italian (we can safely say their English was far more impressive than our Italian). The service was excellent overall

This hotel has very good location, because it is near the beach and sea. It is only a few steps. Room was big and clean. Breakfast was good. You can park your car near the hotel on the big free parking place.

There is free parking on the street but it's first come first serve and there are at least 3 more hotels on the road. Their parking is on the side of the hotel in the ally and fits 5 or 6 cars

It is very close to the boardwalk but the"view" from the rooms isn't worth paying extra for. The rooms are super clean, it has memory foam beds, and a great breakfast with a large variety
