Very nice hotel!
I liked it a lot! As a solo female traveller I felt very safe as there was always someone at the reception and as it’s directly at the main walk. I enjoyed my single room with an amazing view over the ocean and little shops.
The staff was very friendly and polite. I rented a bike which was in a very good state and explored the beautiful surroundings, the bike street is great.
The rooftop terrace is a nice plus too! As they serve the breakfast inside now in october, there was plenty of space on the rooftop to do morning yoga there with a stunning view.
They had some vegan and many glutenfree options at the breakfast. It would be great if they would add margarine & some vegetables.
If you arrive by train: it’s a bit far to walk and the ambiance arround the train station is not very nice, but during the daylight it’s okay.

I booked a single room for one night. They were super nice to let me check in early.
The view is amazing from the room and contrary to what people say here, I found the breakfast really nice! Fresh fruit, eggs, sweet pastries, nuts, ham etc. And on top of that the amazing view of course.
It is loud but I always travel with earplugs so that was not a huge issue for me :)
The room was super cute as well but as someone had mentioned here, the bathroom was terribly cleaned and to be fair the whole room was the worst cleaned hotel room I have ever been to.
The toilet reeked of piss real bad and I literally cleaned it with alcohol wipes myself as it just made me feel so sick (there were stains on the seat). There was black hair everywhere in bathroom and also in the room, the ottoman had stains and sand on it, floor probably hasn’t seen a mop for ages.
The bathroom really did me though, and if I had stayed longer I would have requested they bleach it. The uncleanliness really killed the whole stay for me, it was real bad and a bit shocking to be honest.
Giving 3 stars as it was a good deal! But next time I’d probably pay more and get a clean room in a different hotel.

I got a single room on the second floor with breakfast. My bathroom, the loo, was not cleaned, not disinfected prior to my checking in. Smells like a public toilet! It looks like it was wiped with a dry towel. This gave me a headache! There was nothing like a fresh smell when it was used something like a flash or a bleach. My room was facing a so-called sea view. Opposite of it, on the street is a restaurant on the pavement, where they play super loud music after 10.00 pm till midnight! Lack of hygiene and loud concerts outside the hotel windows should be reported to health and safety department regulatory body Comune di Viareggio. In my understanding, the licence to run the hotel this way should be questioned. I have been waiting often for a long time to get the room key. The receipt was explaining something forever to the new arrived couple.
Breakfast, there is no plain yoghurt. No tomatoes! How can you not serve tomatoes in Italy!!!?? I just got my tomatoes and a yoghurt from the supermarket for tomorrow breakfast. However, in the price £100 per night, the breakfast is included!
And more to it. The beach is mostly private. To put the towel on the sand, they want to charge you. The sea is very shallow. It's impossible to swim. People are just standing in the sea.
Next to me, the German older couple was arguing. They never heard of private beaches to pay for a towel on the sand or a bed with the umbrella from 30 to 150 euros!
I booked the hotel via booking.com and chosen for great reviews. My experience was not good at all. I reported the matter to the hotel customer services. A man called Davide F responded to me rudely,
with an exclamation mark, that I should report the issue earlier. However, I was talking to reception about the issue. Neither acknowledgement nor apologies was given. I will be demanding the refund.

This was a great stay. One of my best 3 Star in Italy. The staff so really nice and I was able to even store my bicycle save on the balcony ☺️
Room has been very nice with balcony and sea view. And most importantly in Italy they do not have those thin walls where you can hear every single word of your neighbours. It’s directly at the Main Street but windows are very isolated. But anyway I always carry oropax with me. Breakfast was also very good. Even for vegans. Lot

A lovely hotel with a great location.
The breakfast and service is exceptional as are the hosts of the hotel.
My room was very clean, modern and well furnished and the hotel bedrooms bathrooms and reception is equipped to a very high standard.
I will be booking here again when next in Viareggio in October.

Viareggio is beautiful and this hotel is near the beach. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast tastes great but a little limited in choices and the chairs are not very comfortable.
The beds are comfortable, shower is small and walls seem to be paperthin because we could hear everything around us. Resulting in late nights because of screaming neighbors and early mornings because you can hear the housekeeping and that's very loud.
My earbuds couldn't cancel that noise, we still enjoyed our time there.
We took 2 waterbottles from the minibar the first night and when we got the bill it said 4 but without any issue that was quickly and friendly solved.

The hotel couldn't be closer to the sea, you just cross the street and you're at the promenade. The stay was amazing, starting from the super clean, air-conditioned, nicely smelling room to the delicious breakfasts served at the rooftop terrace... The staff was so welcoming, helpful and polite, we really felt welcome. Thank you! I hope to be staying there again in the future.

We went in there with my 4 year old children who needed to go to the bathroom. As we weren't staying there I proposed to buy a drink or something to cover for the use for the toilet and the person at the reception outright refused to even let us use the toilet. First time this ever happened to me, no matter the place.

I liked this hotel and would return. The rooms are very clean. Fantastic location with a nice view from our room. I love the town Viareggio. Friendly staff.

Good hotel directly on the beachside. Nice, new renovated rooms with high standard air conditioner. Breakfast a little bit small not that much fresh stuff, maybe needs a bit cucumber or tomatoes and eggs / bacon. But nice staff and really good located!
