Lovely old school hotel. We went to Viareggio for Carnevale and this hotel was the perfect place to view the festivities while unwinding at the spa between performances. Be advised that the spa facilities are actually closed on performance days though. Friendly, accommodating staff and beautiful public spaces as well. Good value for money.

Defintely not the best 4* hotel. Cons: Noisy room on the road side(ask for the other side). Balcony chair, table and toilet appliences are rusty. Pros: Comfy room&bed, Pinocchio beach deal is amazing. Neutral: parking is free but there’s already free parking next to hotel.

I confess I had low expectations. The rooms are classic not as modern as we might like but the hotel is beautiful. Beautiful historic property with manicured gardens. The staff, in particular the most knowledgeable lady very friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfast. I recommend.

The property is in a convenient location and has a beautiful garden. The small room and bathroom on the second floor without a lift. The Wi-Fi didn't work, the air conditioning was very annoying because the air jet was aimed directly at the bed so as to disturb sleep. The aperitif in the bar near the pool was very pleasant. The hotel was underwhelming to say the least. Not sure what gives it a 5* rating if I'm being honest. You are essentially just paying for a room. There are no amenities like rooftops, bars, pools etc which TBF they don't claim to have but even the partnership with a beach they have, you can only get the furthest from the sea row for €30. I truly wanted to love this hotel. But, alas, I didn't. Left with a bit of a sour taste. The rooms are not bad, and generally well appointed. However, you need to understand that the entire price you're paying is only for the room. The hotel has no amenities: no gym, no pool, no rooftop and nowhere to be able to hang out and work. While there is a lounge area, it's not very conducive to a comfortable...

Well, first off, the hotel is beautiful along the main drive, facing the beach & the beautiful sea. The whole area is just lovely. I loved all of the murals & paintings in the hotel. There is a relaxed, yet sophisticated, vibe. I highly recommend having the mixed seafood & the potato donut with truffles @ their Deco Restaurant. The rooftop terrace is wonderful & a perfect spot to watch the sunset....

Staff were excellent and very friendly. Bed and pillows v comfortable but would have liked a comfortable chair/ couch to sit on to read. Only found out on departure that snacks, tea or coffee were available on request. Food is excellent but a shame that menu didn’t change during our stay. We have just returned home after a two week stay at this lovely hotel. It is elegantly furnished and has retained the Art Deco style. The bedroom was located at the side of the hotel with a spacious feel due to the high ceiling. All the staff at the Palace Hotel are friendly, helpful, welcoming and couldn’t be better. The hotel has lovely relaxing lounge areas and has a superb location. Lovely 3 night stay at the end of our Italian trip, with our 17 year old son. After the busyness of Rome and touring the Tuscan hills our 3 days at the hotel were great. Location was fantastic, hotel was very clean and staff all very friendly. Loved the adults terrace sitting watching the world go by. Will definitely return and would highly recommend.

The hotel was right next to the beach where there are numerous restaurants, cafes and bars to choose from. The room was spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable. The staff were always very helpful and polite. Just behind the hotel are bus stops with frequent (and cheap) buses running the Viareggio to the east and Pietransanta to the west. It was a really nice hotel with art nouveau style interior design and the unique elevator that I have never seen before. Service and all the hotel workers are very polite and helpful. Breakfast was various of alternatives. Very close to beach! Actually, most of the beach is not free in Viareggio but the Hotel Marchionni is just opposite the public beach and you can walk and enjoy the sun and swim...

Great place the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room was exceptional, the price was very reasonable everything was very clean. Breakfast was great. And the view.....on one side you have the west coast sea and on the other mountains. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is fine for Viareggio, very, very, dated exterior. It looks a lot like a gulag from the outside. Peeling paint and fungus fountains. The signs and hoardings are all peeling and tree roots have rendered the car park into a brick based mountain range. Inside is a little better - almost like a Soviet Union theme. Good welcome, all the promised services are there and even more, I have big boys but the courtesy of all the staff involves us from start to finish. triple room not very big but modern and clean with everything you need and a nice bathroom and nice balcony. great strength is the large pool, clean and fun the slide. entirely buffet restaurant with two / three proposals per course and many appetizers...

Hotel Europe, Lido di Camaiore. A real palace! But at the same time a modern, ideal hotel. Own parking, garden with swimming pool, bicycles. The rooms are small, but very comfortable and not cramped. Plumbing, furniture, appliances - everything is new! I think there was a complete renovation this year, but they kept a lot of details from the last century - it turned out eclectic, modern in public areas...

Excellent price/quality ratio. Free parking on site. The rooms are not spacious, but we only came there to sleep. The breakfast is varied, and not just breads :) The free beach is 7-10 minutes walk, but it is so small and noisy that we chose one of the paid ones, in season (July/August) the cost is 30 euros per person per day for an umbrella and two sun loungers . There is also a swimming pool on site

I would certainly recommend this hotel the service is excellent. Staff can't do enough for you helping you with whatever you ask of them cycling routes or advising you of the best restaurants around Breakfast is lovely and once again the staff cannot do enough for you. Our first time in Italy but will definitely be back and the food is heaven pasta seafood pizzas ect.

Just returned from a 6 night stay at the Bracciotti which we booked to celebrate my upcoming 70th birthday and to tour the 5 towns of Cinqe Terre. Our stay here was rather mixed some good and some not so good, I researched the area and as we wanted to visit Cinqe Terre early mornings by train from nearby Viaraggio and then get back to relax by the rooftop pool in the afternoons, unfortunately the rooftop...

This hotel has very good location, because it is near the beach and sea. It is only a few steps. Room was big and clean. Breakfast was good. You can park your car near the hotel on the big free parking place.

It is very close to the boardwalk but the"view" from the rooms isn't worth paying extra for. The rooms are super clean, it has memory foam beds, and a great breakfast with a large variety. There is free parking on the street but it's first come first serve and there are at least 3 more hotels on the road. Their parking is on the side of the hotel in the ally and fits 5 or 6 cars.

Very beautiful place with the sea and mountain view! Nice service and breakfast is delicious. You have croissant, brioche, Yogurt, ham, cheese and jam, honey ect. No eggs for breakfast and no air conditioner in the room(we booked double room with twin bed, nice view from our corner balcony).

We were there for the first weekend of Carnevale and this the BEST location for viewing the parade, floats and fireworks. We loved the terrace, the Arte Nouveau lobby and breakfast room. It was February and our room was toasty warm. Staff very friendly.

Booked direct with the hotel and got a beautiful room at a great price. Location was perfect, right by the beach with a lovely view from the balcony. All the staff we met were charming and helpful.
