Holiday Inn Vilnius, an IHG Hotel

Hello, I stayed on 1 June or 6 Jun in center vilnus holiday inn hotel.I have never stayed in a hotel with such a bad service in my life. The room smelled like mould. The rooms are not cleaned. You use the glasses and even they are not cleaned. I even took the glasses out to the corridor. For 24 hours, none of the staff took those glasses from the floor. Frankly speaking, I never think of staying in holiday inn hotels for the first time in my life. I have never stayed in a hotel with such a bad service in my life. The room smelled like mould. The rooms are not cleaned. You use the glasses and even they are not cleaned. I even took the glasses out to the corridor. For 24 hours, none of the staff took those glasses from the floor. Honestly, I never think of staying in holiday inn hotels for the first time in my life.the only good side of the hotel is its location. There is no other feature. Even a bottle of free water is not put in the rooms. There is no fridge in the rooms. Anyway, the room is so small that there is nowhere to put it. If you are going to stay in this hotel, come with your backpack. Because there is nothing but three hangers to open the suitcase and empty the contents. In the days I stayed, my allergy started because of mould and dirt and I had to drink cortisone for days.There's no room to move. In the room where we stayed two people at the same time two people do not stand in the room. One has to wait on the bed.I've never seen a more uncomfortable hotel. Never again.

I stayed here during my connection flight back to Boston on September 4th. Original plan was to stay 3 nights, but due to consequences, only stayed 1 night at Holiday Inn IHG Vilnius city. I booked this hotel a month prior, in order to avoid the high prices. When I arrived, I was greeted by Kleopatra. I do have to mention, that I arrived early due to my flight and was hoping to get a room since I am a platinum member with IHG. After she checked my passport, I was told to wait until 12. When I came back, I was told to wait 30 more minutes. I decided to wait an hour to be sure that the room will be ready. When I came back up again to Kleopatra, I got told to wait again. Finally, when I came back up again I was given the room. The room itself, was no very well clean. Only one light worked in the room. I had to use the bathroom light at night to light up the room. The AC also doesn’t turn on/off by the guest, there were instructions to call the front desk. When I called, Kleopatra picked up and I was told that service will come to the room, to turn it off. After waiting two hours, nobody came. I decided to give up on asking Kleopatra, due to Kleopatra’s lack of assisting clients properly and disrespect. At 2AM, I woke up due to construction right in front of my room. I was extremely disappointed that Kleopatra has given the room closest to the construction sight, which disrupted my sleep for the whole night. Next morning, I decided to move out to another hotel because no other room was provided to me at Holiday Inn. Not only was this situation emotionally difficult, but also extremely financially difficult. Customer service from the front desk was horrible. Having an IHG membership, I’ve stayed at multiple hotels and never had been this dissatisfied.
