Hotel Ajana

My three-night stay was a major disappointment. The hotel falsely advertised itself as a beach hotel, but it's actually a 30-minute drive away. My old room was in the outdated building; the only saving grace was the air conditioning. The bathroom was filthy, and they seemed to use the cheapest shampoo imaginable. Breakfast was nothing like the photos online, and the staff (some oldtimer) ate food with their bare hands right in front of the guests. The dirty, neglected pool was unusable. The only positive was the extra hour granted by the owner's brother before checkout, which was quickly ruined by the owner's angry outburst. Beware of the fake five-star reviews on Google from one-time users.

Haha, Hotel with 5 stars here, 4 stars in the Booking. 🤣The place looked completely different than from the Booking photos. The room was dirty, and the shower curtain was even brown-yellow due to dirt. The breakfast was nothing like the pictures. An old man who seemed to help with everything was eating food, even scrambled eggs with his bare hands. This was disgusting, too, seeing that. I do not recommend this place. People shouldn't be misled into renting this room. It's terrible seeing what's people are doing to have your money.

We arrived about 10pm for one night sleep exhausted after 12 hour driving with two little children ready to sleep.(I had informed the hotel about the time of our arrival). We entered the room 116 which was too hot because no one may ever have thought to switch on the air conditioner. We said ok...The A/C worked about an hour in full cold but it did nothing. Outside was much cooler than inside!!!The device wasn't properly working at all. I told the owner about the problem, he tried to fix it somehow, (nothing happened),so I asked for another room but the only available was a small room for two. The owner said he was sorry and accepted a free cancellation.(The time was 23.30).

I understand that this incident maybe was a bad luck...I think it wasn't!!My experience was awful. It was a really stressful procedure with two little kids amid midnight to find somewhere to sleep in Ulsinj.
On the other hand the room was spacious and looked clean.
The location is good, far away from the noisy old town of Ulsinj.

They are advertising free cancelation and then charge your credit card 2 months before the trip- which was canceled. When you try to reach them, they block you on all their social media platforms, Whatsapp and Viber. They will be reported to regulatory bodies in Montenegro.

This hotel never inspires confidence and is not honest. After 2 months of our holiday, we said we wanted to cancel due to health problems, they blocked us. We don't want to go there because we think they don't like tourists. We do not recommend them to anyone and will complain everywhere. We told our friends living in Montenegro that they will complain about us there and go to the hotel.
