The shared bathroom is kept clean. I stayed in a single room, but it was a bit inconvenient that there was no light switch by the bed. The accommodation is on the third floor, but the elevator does not stop there, so you have to get off on the fourth floor and use the stairs. I used the stairs when going down. When you enter the accommodation, you take off your shoes and put them in the shoe locker...

I chose this hostel because it's conveniently located in Ulaanbaatar. It was a triple-person room, but I booked it for single use. Facilities include a shared kitchen, table, laundry, shower, and toilet. If you're staying in Ulaanbaatar for more than three nights, I think it's a great value for money option. As those who've stayed at similar hostels know, the hostel is on the third floor of the building...

This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in, with the best service, clean and safe environment, and the most convenient location and transportation. The most important thing is that the price is reasonable.

The accommodation is located in the city center, very convenient. The receptionist is friendly and speaks good English. The accommodation is very private. You can walk around the central square of Ulaanbaatar. Staying here feels like sleeping in your own home. The price is very economical.

City Guest House was amazing… the cosy room, warm hosts and delicious breakfast… all worth the budget! I love the conversations with fellow guests at the common room during breakfast, where we get to understand life from another side of the world. I love the hospitality of Victor and the lady manager. A well recommended stay.

Just one word: perfect! The owner took care of everything - super polite, organized and caring! She took care of tour bookings as well and can arrange tours starting from 1 day to 14 days for regions all over Mongolia. Location is perfect, guesthouse is clean and perfectly heated. We are going to stay there again the next time visiting Mongolia!

Perfect location in the city, and the host is so friendly and kind. We met Dutch, Japanese, Russian and British guests - this is the best option for international travellers!

The double room my fiancee and I stayed in for a few days is excellent. The entire hostel is very nice. Very comfortable living room, fully equipped kitchen for guests to use, every day a different and very tasty breakfast. Fantastic hostel, breakfast is included and prepared by the lovely host every morning. Made us feel welcome and more like visiting a friend than staying in a hostel, Mungi helped find things in the city, advised good places to see and taught us mongolian ankle bone games 11/10 experience, will be coming back.

I stayed in their guesthouse which was like having a home in Ulanbaatar and went on a 8 day tour in the middle of the winter. Everything was well organized, the nomadic families we stayed with were authentic and warm people. My driver and guide (Urnaa) took excelent care of me! I can highly recommend them!

Cozy apartment style guesthouse The breakfast is included (usually an egg, cucumbers, bread and jam or even local khushuur). The entrance is behind the block, knock loudly on the front door, there is no doorbell. Hosts are extremely helpful and offer tours (little bit expensive).

We stayed here 3 times during our trip and really appreciated warmth and welcoming of Nara. It feels like you've come home. Entrance is a bit tricky to find as it is from the back of the building (there is a pass through the building that will get you there) I highly recommend staying here!
