My husband and I chose this hotel because we trusted Marriott’s reputation, but our stay was shockingly bad. While the view was decent, the hotel itself felt outdated. The worst part was the service. The Indian front desk staff treated us (Asian guests) with cold indifference, yet minutes later, smiled warmly at white guests. We booked an ocean-view room but were given a garden view instead. When...
Very nice hotel clean, good location in Malta and helpful staff in front desk Raman ( if I’m not wrong) and George in coniege
Excellent! They are family friendly!
The facilities are a bit old. The toilet style is like motel. Toilet paper super thin. There are sea view rooms without sea view. Check out time 12 but they already ask you when do u check out at 11.
Stayed with handicapped Mom, Hotel gave us best room with perfect view, provided a wheelchair and took excellent service. Nice pool area snd gym. The best value for the money in the area — totally recommend!!!
Obviously the best Hotel in Malta. Must explore the whole Dragonara at your own risk of course as it's the Big Sea, you also can just go snorkeling safely around the Maltese Ghemmuna Artillery battery, which became the Scicluna Family Palace after the Banking Reset of 1873 Greta Staff starting with Upama at the Green exotic stone desk, then was guided to my cozy room by Duty Manager Sandra who explained...

First time in Malta and not just a great location to explore from but an amazing hotel stay too! From the moment we stepped in the, the staff were always pleasant and always helpful. Sopo, at breakfast ensured we had what we needed and Mina was fast to offer her assistance! Pradeep would make sure we were satisfied with our food and always took care to tell us what was where. Exceptional Service and Unforgettable Stay – Thanks to Katerina and the Team After a terrible experience at another hotel, we were relieved the moment we walked into the Intercontinental St. Julian’s, thanks to the incredible service provided by Katerina. Katerina went above and beyond to ensure that my family and I were not only comfortable but truly happy during our stay. Katerina’s attention to...
What a wonderful stay. One of the best part of the trip. You can spend the whole day just staying in the hotel because it has everything. Waterbiscuit restaurant serves amazing food (though desserts is the weak point). I would not forget Smoked duck breast. Nice and comfortable room. Very nice personal. The view from balcony would be perfect without construction (Plant here need to be watered). I highly...
The staff at the hotel could not have been any friendlier. I booked a weekend stay incl free night (platinum perk) and we got a fabulous upgrade to a lovely suite. There isn’t much of a view but given that the street outside is quite ‘lively’ we didn’t mind. The small private beach has small stones not sand but there is not a lot they can do about this. The sea side Italian seafood restaurant was excellent...

I love the location. Lots of restaurants and disco pub.
A strange one as if the boss has taken his eye off the ball. On arrival we were told not to drink the tap water and there was a free dispenser in the lobby to refill bottles. But in the room the fridge was empty. No water. The lobby bar closed at 9 so if you went for dinner you were stuck. Pool towels were not available at the pool but you had to traipse back down 6 floors to Reception to get them...
The hotel is very old. The air conditioner is portable. There is no swimming pool and fitness center. Since after Covid, it is not as expected.
A fairly old hotel, although the staff was very friendly.
Good hotel, a little old but very well located, the pool is large and spacious.
This hotel has a great location in Paceville. It's close to the clubs, sea, bus stops, cheap food and nice pubs. It begins to be cold in the rooms in November which have electric heater but they doesn't work. There aren't a lot of things in hotel which are described on the hotel's page. The rooms doesn't have fridges, minibars, heating, sockets near the beds, electric kettle and cutlery. In hotel...

This Hotel is well located. Front Desk & room services are amazing. Good choice of Breakfast buffet. Different type of restaurants inside the hotel. Indoor pool, spa is fully equipped. I must give this hotel 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
During check-in, I was informed that if I booked breakfast in advance, it would cost €22 per person, whereas the price would be €25 per person without prior reservation. Based on this information, I decided to reserve breakfast for the first day of my two-night stay at the rate of €22 per person. However, upon checking out, I noticed that I had been charged €25 instead. When I pointed this out to...

Stayed here in late October 2024. Great location, great outdoor pool areas, but boy o boy those pools are cool in Autumn. Breakfast is lovely, everything is fresh, tasty, with lots of options. The bread is to die for The live Jazz band was amazing, going to the Blue Elephant Thai tonight and will review later.
I recently stayed at Hilton Malta and had an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home. I spent 4 nights in the hotel. My room was internal room without windows outside, only to the inside shaft, so had no natural light, but these types of rooms are much cheaper than those with view of the bay and balcony. Keep it in consideration while choosing the room. My purpose was just to sleep here, I'm not a type of enjoying my room and staying in the hotel. Very well connected by bus from and...
Very average hotel. My room was very noisy and could not rest well. Breakfast very basic.
The hotel was a hit, thanks to the recommendation. It is in a good location for using public transport and visiting the nearby attractions on foot. Everything is arranged, clean, the rooms are spacious enough and adequately equipped, the sea view from the terrace is perfect. Great value, fantastic view from the room, comfy beds, breakfast was decent, and the staff were lovely and friendly. The indoor swimming pool, though small, did the job just fine. The only issue is the construction work going on next door, but I'd happily stay here again. Late check out til 6 PM was a godsend after a big night out!

Absolutely recommend. The beach club was 2 minutes walk from the hotel and can be used for free if you’re staying at the hotel. We always had available sunbeds, though I would recommend to arrive early. It has access to the sea as well, the pool is reasonable size with sea water. The hotel also has a rooftop pool with fewer sunbeds, free of charge. We stayed in the family room, the bed was very large...
The room was a lot smaller than we thought but it’s okay since we’re not in our room all the time anyway. The service however? Outstanding! Cannot thank the staff enough for the warm welcomes, excellent service and kindness especially to Kristian, Njambe and Marie who we met in the pool and then became our group tour host. All of them greeted us like old friends and gave us tips how to enjoy Malta...
The rooms are amazing. Especially for Europe. The pool is a beach club. It’s loud and crowded not chill and relaxing like it looks in the photo, which was a big downer for me. They also took my water bottle and I felt like I should be able to bring my water to what I thought was the hotel pool. The spa was a little weird in terms of service. Also, having the website for your code and stuff was a little...
We really enjoyed our stay here. We were kindly upgraded at check in from a superior room to a suite which offered more space. Spa was lovely and empty in the mornings. We were always able to get a spot at the beach club and enjoyed the facilities there immensely. It is only a short walk away, though closes at 6.30pm. The trips are a lovely addition but book up quickly - we managed to go on a sunset...
The bar is lovely. The Hotel Front service staff are super helpful and friendly. Reasonably priced, nice, relaxing atmosphere. The bartender was incredibly clean and hygienic while making the drinks! Would come back next time we are in sliema.
Really lovely hotel and beach club. Staff were lovely, food really good, great value happy hour. Sadly building works next door were very noisy some mornings but obviously not the hotel’s fault! Only downside is Sliema is a bit out of the way - not easy access to Valletta (which we had hoped for) but overall really enjoyed and recommend!

I stayed in the park hotel winter 2017 and at the time there was no issues with hygiene. It's quite central in Sliema with some cheap restaurants nearby. I think at the time the hotel was classed as a four star but it was two at best. Did have a indoor pool and jacuzzi in 2017 which were good. Even a small gym inside which was decent to train in. Overall a lot has changed since but our stay was good
Stayed for 3 nights June 2019 Read a lot of negative reviews about this hotel, not sure why! Yes the place his a bit dated and probably could do with a touch of paint but my room was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities I needed. Didn't use the rooftop terrace or pool so can't comment on that, but for £50 a night with breakfast included I can't have any complaints! You get what you pay for...
We sat in this hotel for 4 nights over the Easter break. Overall, the room was average with clear signs of wear and tear. Our room was a three star room as opposed to four stars, as it was advertised. The breakfast was good with a wide selection of omlettes, cheese, salami and coffee. The staff was polite and always ready to help. The location is very good as well.
Great Hotel, Great staff, Great location. The staff were very friendly and made me feel very welcome. Breakfast was very good with a good variety .I had my evening meal one night in there and it was the best pizza I have had. The indoor pool and Jacuzzi was a lovely way to relax after and day of walking around. It was a just a few meters to the main sea road where buses run and as it was in a side...
Good location. Close to public transport and restaurants. Breakfast was Fab, quite impressed actually. Composed of hot and cold dishes buffet style, with constant refills. Nothing was too great for the smiling waitresses. Swimming pool was a bit small but there was another on the roof top which I didn't use due to weather. The gym room was staffed and equipment OK. There was a tourist desk for tickets...
Love this place. It is in a great location Marisa and all of her staff are so friendly and welcoming. Hotel is fine. Location is central but not easily walkable — fine if you have a car. Rooms are somewhat basic but very spacious. Lovely pool. But WIFI is terrible. Door lock was a pain to open — had to keep playing around with the card a few times. Gym is a small room but useable.
Nice hotel, which was spotlessly clean, with good facilities and pool .
We had a lovely stay here. As it was my 30th birthday they kindly upgraded us to a suite and surprised me with a chocolate dessert! The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were great with lots of variety. Staff were friendly and the spa was very relaxing! Location was ideal, slightly out of the centre but free parking. We had a pretty good experience with this hotel! The beds were comfortable and the breakfast spread was amazing! The location was also great and within walking distance of plenty of things. We also were not able to check in until about an hour after our...
Very convenient hotel, near many restaurants and bars. Room is not too big but clean, modern and has everything you need. Small balcony too. Nice breakfast, bit noisy though. A morning stroll around the island with the fort is worth it! Ferry to Valletta is super easy!

Excellent location, small but nice room Acceptable breakfast
The staff tried hard to please but the hotel is not 4 star as advertised. The curtains were broken and had been broken for a while allowing the sun in. The airconditioning was noisy and not very efficient. The pool closed at 6.00pm in the middle of summer.
The location is excellent, you can get to anywhere by bus. Maximum travel time is about 1 hour. The hotel is quite old, but we got a room after renovation. The breakfast was standard European without any frills, but we didn’t leave hungry. We went to the Paparazzi “restaurant” for dinner several times, it’s on the island next to the hotel. Nice hotel with nice room and fair breakfast with a gorgeous view.
We stayed in a family room. The hotel's location, service attitude, and internal facilities were all very good, especially the kitchen facilities such as the stove, which were very suitable for family use. The only drawback was that the room had only one window facing the patio, so ventilation and view were poor.
This is a very cost-effective hotel with a great location, close to the Sliema pier. It is very convenient to travel to and from Valletta, about five minutes each way. The seaside promenade in Sliema, about a 20-minute walk away, also has a beautiful sea view. The hotel's buffet breakfast is great!
Nice hotel, good staff, bed, pillow, location, clean and modern etc. We had two rooms with horrible view as they both were facing away from the ocean (the cheap rooms) There was no view. Beautiful hotel which we booked at the last minute.. Rooms was lovely and the comfiest bed that have ever slept in.. Staff really helpful.. Great location as well.. Only 10 minute walk to Sliema ferry.
The rooms advertised on Booking.com and that we actually booked do not exist. I spoke to the manager and she said she would get owner to look into it. Every one of the staff were excellent and will certainly be back again.
Had a pleasant stay at violetta. Beautiful boutique hotel. Lovely pool and bar area. Very modern decor. A quieter area than in the main seafront - about 10-15 minutes walk to amenities and shopping district. The owner of the hotel Justin was really lovely and goes out of his way to make you feel at home. Would recommend staying here.
We stayed at the wonderful Palazzo Violetta in Sliema, from May 25th to June 1st. Our stay couldn't have been any better! Our apartment was absolutely incredible. Beautiful, funny and fresh interior. Very friendly staff, good location, great breakfast. Pool on the roof and little spa. Warm recommendation. Small and cosy hotel in Balluta Bay. Beach, restaurants and bus routes very close.
I stayed here 2 weeks ago with my friends and we had the best experience! The room was lovely (especially the bathroom), the rooftop pool and indoor pool and jacuzzi were lovely, the breakfast was great and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We also got a discount on an amazing massage and the spa facilities :) I would 100% recommend staying here!!
The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the breakfast selection was limited, and the rooms smelled of stale grease and food in the morning. The pool was small but acceptable. The elevator was a disaster; using the stairs was very outdated. The location was usually expensive with Uber and Bolt. The beach is far from the hotel.
I've booked twice in a month offers for relaxing massage and spa and I loved it each time. Highly recommended place. The location is brilliant as it is the first stop from the Airport Bus and the same bus stop takes you back to the airport as well.
Overall, the hotel is quite good with a convenient location and friendly staff who made the stay pleasant. However, there were a few drawbacks. Good size rooms, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed. Apartment was very clean. As its on a complex can be a little noisy. Ours was top floor so got the sun on the balcony, lower ones probably not so much. Depending on position views may not be much although our rear balcony did have a nice view of St Julian's. Easy walking distance of St Julian's bay and Sliema. Good bus links.
This is a huge modern complex of apartments mixed with what seem to be student flats. The apartment we stayed in for 4 weeks (Block F, flat 7) was nicely finished and the block itself is pleasant, however can be noisy with music and children and seems to suffer some intermittent power problems at times. Despite this it was suitably placed and a decent base for our stay.
