I stayed in the park hotel winter 2017 and at the time there was no issues with hygiene. It's quite central in Sliema with some cheap restaurants nearby. Had a great stay! My room got upgraded from a standard room to sea front, the standard room is better for individuals who don't plan on using the room other than to sleep and shower. The sea front room was lush! Lovely balcony, nice view + full sun during the day. Sad that it was so noisy in the evenings due to the restaurants downstairs playing music + smell of cigarettes during the evening.

After booking our original accommodation 5 months before travelling we got informed night before they had cancelled. We arrived in Malta with no accommodation and running the marathon and a 2 year old. Days inn not only found us rooms but couldn't do enough for us. The hotel is on a good location, very close to many restaurants, shops and the public transportation. It is very clean, you get new towels on a daily level. Downside is the bed, it is uncomfortable, and really squickie. Also I found it odd that the bathroom didn't have the toilet brush. Beside that a good hotel, good value for money.
