The room was clean and very spacious. We had no issues! The hotel is in a fab place to explore with a lot of amenities near by. I would definitely recommend Intercontinental and would defo be staying here again

It is supposed to be a five star hotel, unfortunately it is showing signs of fatigue. The tiles in the bath room are chipped and has become hard to clean as a result

This hotel is in a tremendous location for visiting Valletta. Hotel itself is good, with comfortable rooms and beds. The pool area is excellent, with a large pool and also access to swim in the sea

However, service remains good and the breakfast offers a good choice. There is a small private beach which allows bathing in the sea with fish swimming around you, which was very pleasant

The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The en-suite had a combined bath and shower and quality toiletries. Breakfast was very good with a wide hot and cold choice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful

The balcony was directly facing the small harbour where coincidentally some yachts were preparing for the Rolex Middle Sea race (please see photos). Many of the crews were also, not surprisingly, staying at the hotel

The lobby bar closed at 9 so if you went for dinner you were stuck. Pool towels were not available at the pool but you had to traipse back down 6 floors to Reception to get them, then back up 6 floors to the pool

Good hotel, a little old but very well located, the pool is large and spacious.

The hotel is very old. The air conditioner is portable. There is no swimming pool and fitness center. Since after Covid, it is not as expected.

This hotel has a great location in Paceville. It's close to the clubs, sea, bus stops, cheap food and nice pubs. It begins to be cold in the rooms in November which have electric heater but they doesn't work

I'll study more about the roads in Valletta and I highly recommend every guest driving here to study the streets beforehand

My husband and I chose this hotel because we trusted Marriott’s reputation, but our stay was shockingly bad. While the view was decent, the hotel itself felt outdated. The worst part was the service

Obviously the best Hotel in Malta

This is the only hotel in Europe that I have experienced that provides enough bottled water in the room, and the waiter will take the initiative to ask if you need any other help in the evening

The spa is large offering a heated jacuzzi, heated pool, sauna and an outdoor cold plunge! I could have spent all day there. The hotel is right in the middle of everything and shops, restaurants and bars are plentiful

I was a little worried before checking in, afraid that the high score was not true, but the location of the hotel is great, the hardware conditions are also good, and the service is particularly worthy of praise

The best choice for accommodation in Malta! The rooms are spacious, the hotel facilities are well maintained, the service is thoughtful, and there are many food options downstairs and around the hotel

At first, I booked a superior king, but when I checked in, they downgraded the room without any notice, and the next day, after asking again, they changed it to an ocean view room

I felt that they didn't give enough advance notice. Other than that, the breakfast and the location of the facilities were good

I recently stayed at Hilton Malta and had an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home

Additionally, I was dissatisfied with the way Ms. FACO handled the situation—her attitude was dismissive and unhelpful, making the experience even more unpleasant. Aside from this issue, my stay was comfortable

Stayed here in late October 2024. Great location, great outdoor pool areas, but boy o boy those pools are cool in Autumn. Breakfast is lovely, everything is fresh, tasty, with lots of options

Beautiful grounds with great pools. Very clean rooms and a great balcony with sea views. We even received an upgrade on site. Breakfast was very varied. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Airport reachable within 20 minutes.

We booked a trip with 4 friends, but the room is a bit small and old, not like a 5-star hotel, should be 3 stars. My pillow has blood stains, I told the cleaning staff, but they didn't change the pillowcases for me

The cabinet is very heavy and difficult to move. In addition, the shower bathtub in our room drains very slowly. I don’t know if it’s just ours or all of them, but we are too lazy to report it to the hotel

The hotel has a nice view and the service is also very good. The only problem is that there is no charging port at the bedside. There are only charging ports behind the TV and next to the TV cabinet

The charging port behind the TV cabinet needs to move the cabinet out a little to use it, otherwise it is difficult to insert the conversion plug and the length of the original plug

Lovely hotel however unfortunately it is currently under going building works. We had a suite with sea view however also a view of cranes, builders, noise and dust outside windows

The staff were all helpful arranged to change rooms for me as can't go in lift on my own. Bar was relaxing ,pool was closed as November but the solarium was very clean and relaxing

Our lovely clean, nicely decorated room was on the 12th floor with fabulous sea views and was serviced every day. We never once had a problem with the lifts and can't think of anything negative to say about this hotel

The room was a standard room with an ocean view, but it was spacious. The only downside was that only one of the two elevators was working, so we had to wait. Other than that I was satisfied and would recommend!

We stayed at a hotel in Valletta on a tour, but it was too small, so we moved to this hotel. The facilities were old but clean, the location was good, and we had a great view of the ocean from the balcony

The only thing I would say is the TV needed to be a bit more updated in terms of apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. The rooftop with the outdoor pool is really beautiful and the views are breathtaking

The Temptasian restaurant was not quite the atmosphere described - food was good but they seated us at a table right near the kitchen without good ventilation and made it feel like a sauna then a restaurant

Me and my daughter stayed at this hotel on our 3 nights trip to Malta. It was pleasant stay, rooms were good size and cleaned everyday. I didn’t got the nice view but i guess i got what i paid for so it wasn’t bad at all

Very well located within walking distance of many restaurants and places to visit, 2 minutes walk to the nearest Mall / Supermarket. Breakfast is amazing - I do recommend this option to everyone

Location is ideal and convenient to go anywhere in Malta , bus station was few minutes walk away. Restaurants and beautiful scenic views of St Julian's was amazing

The room was spacious although the view was a little disappointing (other building just a few meters away). The SPA zone was nice- yet the pool is not really for swimming and there are only a few places available

The beach club was 2 minutes walk from the hotel and can be used for free if you’re staying at the hotel. We always had available sunbeds, though I would recommend to arrive early

It has access to the sea as well, the pool is reasonable size with sea water. The hotel also has a rooftop pool with fewer sunbeds, free of charge. We stayed in the family room, the bed was very large, could fit 3 people

Bathroom and linens were clean. Breakfast has more than enougj options with quality ingredients. Above all, the staff were lovely and very attentive

Location is great, Valletta can be reached via ferry (ferry in 5 minute walk distance), St. Julian in 20 minutes via taxi

They also took my water bottle and I felt like I should be able to bring my water to what I thought was the hotel pool. The spa was a little weird in terms of service

Very well connected by bus from and to airport, great location on the shore of the sea in Sliema. Hotel has a inside pool and also on the top floor outside swimming pool on the roof

Breakfast was great, lot of choices and all the time full of food, coffee from the automatic machine, plenty places to sit , never felt to overcrowded

Only one small thing that didn't work well was the kettle in my room, the lid must have been damaged as it wouldn't stay closed, if you boiled it you had to weigh it down with something or it would boil forever, it wasn't a huge issue though, I just used it a few times

Steam room functioning but there’s an damp/mouldy smell in there. Rooftop pool area also lovely with a nice sea view. Wasn’t a big fan of the breakfast though so docked a point

I stayed for 3 nights and it was a lovely experience. The room was very spacious and clean. I had breakfast each morning and was impressed with the amount of food on offer. The fresh fruit and fresh bread were excellent

I appreciated they had soya and almond milk, so I could have a nice coffee each morning too

The little gift shop inside the hotel was also handy and had some nice things. Staff were all friendly and overall this was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in for a while

The rooftop swimming pool is a great place to relax. It offers commanding views of the city.

It's impossible to understand if a hotel is good or not in a couple of days; this isn't a 4 stars hotel. It's old, with old furnitures, an old lift. With a great restyling probably can become a good hotel

The position of the air conditioner Is criminal! In front 9f the bed??? Ok, the wifi was good, the crew very helpful but 4 stars in my experience means high quality, high professionality

The aircon or heating didn't work at the time of my visits, fortunately it wasn't peak of summer. There's loads of free parking around the hotel just avoid yellow bays and other signs

Pet peeve of mine is that the double beds are just two singles joined together, so you will end up falling through the middle where the two beds join depending how you sleep

Although it can be very difficult to park in the evenings on Fridays and Saturdays for obvious reasons so hire the smallest car possible to increase your success rate

Didn't use the rooftop terrace or pool so can't comment on that, but for £50 a night with breakfast included I can't have any complaints! You get what you pay for and for that price I wouldn't expect 4 or 5 star luxury and nor should anyone else! Overall a decent well run hotel

I think at the time the hotel was classed as a four star but it was two at best. Did have a indoor pool and jacuzzi in 2017 which were good. Even a small gym inside which was decent to train in

Swimming pool was a bit small but there was another on the roof top which I didn't use due to weather. The gym room was staffed and equipment OK

It was a just a few meters to the main sea road where buses run and as it was in a side street it was nice a quiet. The room was big with a kettle to make coffee and tea. The TV had many English stations

The hotel is located in the Slieme district. There are nearby many options from food to clothing with a shopping center. It is on the seaside and it gets busy and crowded at night

Undisputed highpoint was the incredible breakfast buffet, and the warm and welcoming breakfast team, headed by Marleny and Andrea

We got an upgrade apartment 2 rooms 2 bathroom, amazing apartment equipment with kitchen and washing machine, which for us was stunningly good and we appreciate it! We got the buffet (breakfast) where you can get plenty options, thanks to Lina that she gave us an amazingly service while we were there

Hydra spa is relaxing. There are two pools one in a garden setting and one by the sea - each have their own charm.

Very nice if a little older hotel. Room we had was very spacious with two double beds and bath and shower. It was a "wellness room" and had a infra red sitting in box in the corner

Nice hotel, superb view at Valetta acros the boulevard and harbour from seaside rooms. Lobby quite small and a bit outdated. Shopping mall 'The Point' around the corner with supermarket at the -1 level

The hotel doesn't include a complimentary swimming pool. Access to the neighboring hotel's pool costs €20 per day per room, which may disappoint guests not wanting beach swimming
