Exceptional Service and Unforgettable Stay – Thanks to Katerina and the Team After a terrible experience at another hotel, we were relieved the moment we walked into the Intercontinental St. Julian’s, thanks to the incredible service provided by Katerina. Katerina went above and beyond to ensure that my family and I were not only comfortable but truly happy during our stay. Katerina’s attention to...
What a wonderful stay. One of the best part of the trip. You can spend the whole day just staying in the hotel because it has everything. Waterbiscuit restaurant serves amazing food (though desserts is the weak point). I would not forget Smoked duck breast. Nice and comfortable room. Very nice personal. The view from balcony would be perfect without construction (Plant here need to be watered). I highly...
The staff at the hotel could not have been any friendlier. I booked a weekend stay incl free night (platinum perk) and we got a fabulous upgrade to a lovely suite. There isn’t much of a view but given that the street outside is quite ‘lively’ we didn’t mind. The small private beach has small stones not sand but there is not a lot they can do about this. The sea side Italian seafood restaurant was excellent...
We've just spent 5 days here and overall it was good. The staff were all superb. Always a smile and a friendly greeting from the cleaners to the managers. We had a meal at the Al Fresco restaurant, on the 7th floor. 100% could not fault it. The staff, food and atmosphere was great. First time eating rabbit and loved it. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the swordfish was delicious. Overall...
Amazing property , it's one of the best intercontinental hotel I stayed, it is perfectly located and the staff at the reception were super helpful and friendly, I was able to check in early. Whenever you cross a staff from breakfast restaurant to housekeeping in the corridor, they wish us a good day with a smile and ask us if we need anything !!! I will surely recommend this property
We attended Sky Beach at the Intercontinental in Malta and may I say, It was something special. The view was incredible, overlooking the beautiful Malta, the food and drinks were luxurious and very much so worth the value. Our amazing waiter Edwardo was phenomenal and a true role model to how service should be. I wish you all the best my friend and please if you get the chance, visit Sky Beach.

It is supposed to be a five star hotel, unfortunately it is showing signs of fatigue. The tiles in the bath room are chipped and has become hard to clean as a result. The carpet feels old as well. However, service remains good and the breakfast offers a good choice. There is a small private beach which allows bathing in the sea with fish swimming around you, which was very pleasant.
We visited this hotel last year and loved it. However we’ve recently been back and had to wait till well after 3pm for our room (check in 3pm)which meant we wasted a lot of our first day. Also bar service was poor. It seemed there was no one in charge even though there were plenty of staff and those making drinks had little training, particularly if we ordered cocktails. Even a beer took 15minutes...
Excellent hotel and superb location for visiting Valletta (10 minutes walk to the City Gate and the bus station). We booked for 5 nights and at check-in were given a complementary upgrade to a sea view room. What a room! I was hoping for a high floor. Reception was level 6 and we were given a bedroom on level 2. The porter asked which room we were in and when told said it was a very nice room. It was...
This hotel is in a tremendous location for visiting Valletta. Hotel itself is good, with comfortable rooms and beds. The pool area is excellent, with a large pool and also access to swim in the sea. Plenty of shaded areas and an attentive bar staff. The indoor bar areas and public areas are perfect for meeting or to grab a small meal and a drink. I wish the hotel had a good restaurant, but there are...
After booking to come, I saw numerous negative reviews of this hotel which made me quite skeptical. However, our stay on the whole was pleasant. The hotel is in a great location; it’s a 10 minute walk into Valletta (although there are a lot of steps) and we enjoyed numerous trips and dinners there throughout our holiday. Both the indoor and outdoor pools are lovely and there are always beds available...
This hotel is in a good location, not far at all from central Valletta. This is definitely the hotel’s biggest selling point. One point to note is that there is a lot of uphill walking/ steps to get anywhere from the hotel so bear this in mind if this could be an issue for you, particularly in the heat/humidity. Unfortunately, the service is absolutely awful. Staff are incredibly slow and mismanaged...

We stayed at The Westin in February for 3 nights as a weekend getaway. The first thing that impressed us was the service, every member of the staff was very lovely, kind, and helpful. We were offered a big room with 2 queen beds, so we enjoyed the spacious room we had. We had lunch at the restaurant in the lobby, and enjoyed that too. We liked staying here during winter, and I believe it’s amazing...
A room size is appropriate and queen bed is acceptable for 2 people to sleep. A pool outside is wide and good view to see seaside. Breakfast is excellent and yummy. TV channels are good to watch football match. Price is appropriate. Comprehensively excellent.
5 out of 5 stars! Absolutely brilliant stay at The Westin Dragonara Resort, Malta. We stayed there for 1 week on the Christmas break and had a great time. The check-in was very smooth. We had to wait for a few hours before we could get our room but we relaxed in the large lobby. The rooms were spacious, clean and well furnished. The two double bed sea-view rooms had a proper sea view with a sizeable...
I had an incredible experience here with my wife. The Operations Executive, Sunny was very friendly and he ensured our stay was nothing but perfect. He even went the extra mile to get us upgraded to a suite room and give me a surprise birthday celebration. The other staff are also very friendly. They are well aware of halal food in the hotel and advised us on which foods are halal and which are not...
What a place. Hotel is very nice and in an amazing position right on the beach, where you can easily swim in the sea. Leisure facilities are spot on, towels provided for leisure/beach/pool. Food is amazing. You are made to feel very very special by the staff members. It's literally a 4 min walk from the hotel reception to the heart of everything in Paceville. A 10 min walk max to Sliema. I've given...
I really wanted to like this hotel, but my stay at the Westin Dragonara in St. Julian’s, Malta, was deeply disappointing. As a Marriott Gold member, I chose this hotel expecting the usual perks that come with my status. Unfortunately, we received none of them. When I inquired about a room upgrade at check-in, the staff acted as if I was out of line for even asking. I then asked for a late checkout...

Recommended. A very nice stay. Very good location and hotel, with nice private beach, clear water, good pool area with great view and nice adults only pool for quiet option. Excellent service throughout, from Henri welcoming us personally at breakfast through to everyone actually, from main desk to room servicing - everyone extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The only thing I’d say...
Fabulous stay even if just a nite. Didn't make use of the hotel facilities bar the breakfast buffet. Busy as it was the hostess Marisa was in point. Manning that desk wholly independently even if I think that there should have been 2 people given the volume of guests. Yet if you watched her comings and goings you'd have seen a beaming warm welcome, an enchanting introduction to the restaurant and...
This hotel needs to up it's game to be a 5 star rating. Pool in shade most of day. Buffet food mainly cold salads and meat. Hot food only ever lukewarm and hardly any choice. Not much info given out by reception staff. Only interested in looking at screens not very smiley or helpful. Found out lot more from our jet2 holiday rep. Overall OK. But much nicer hotels nearer facilities. Lots of building...
We loved the hotel and had a fantastic stay. The food was excellent, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Above all we thought the staff were excellent. From the bar staff at The Bridge and The Edge to the breakfast staff and the cleaners - they couldn’t have been more helpful and offered excellent customer service as well as being friendly and efficient! We would like to give special thanks...
Excellent - rooms clean and well presented. Staff generally attentive but breakfast service needs to be sharpened up. Staff outside by the pool needed to be asked for tea/milk etc. Food of very good standard and enjoyable Nice pool areas. Location reasonable away from the noise of the main area but walk to bus stop challenging if you have issues. We had a good stay - thank you.
I was staying in an apartment in St Julian’s with my friends, and we were looking for a good spa centre near by. We choose the spa in the Radisson blu, and it was amazing. We had a massage, use the sauna, hot tub, indoor and outdoor pool. Everything was great, the staff was really pleasant and happy to answer all our questions. I would really recommend it, and I will definitely come back.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. We bought the day pass for the pool which was perfect for experiencing the pool and bridging the gap before our flight. Would definitely come back to stay here!
Rooms are clean, large and comfortable, service is fantastic, beautiful hotel. Of the restaurants, the Rooftop Bar was the best for dinner- they were outstanding service, drinks and food. The Temptasian restaurant was not quite the atmosphere described - food was good but they seated us at a table right near the kitchen without good ventilation and made it feel like a sauna then a restaurant. Breakfast...
A must-stay in Malta. Three days ago we checked into of one of the best hotels my fiancee and I have ever stayed in. The standard and attention to detail is top quality. Housekeeping have been outstanding, bar staff and restaurant staff have been incredible and the concierge...
Just returned from a stay at this hotel which was an amazing experience. Staff are all welcoming and friendly. The staff will do everything to make your stay enjoyable. Their restaurant has lovely food and again staff will make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. I would recommend this hotel without any hesitation. Very special place
Lovely hotel with excellent facilities. Lovely large rooms with balconies, mini fridge and great amenities in the bathroom. Good service at all bars and friendly staff throughout. My only suggestion would be on the Saturday grill night. The photos promoting this event portray a grill with an amazing looking cut of meat. The reality is that it’s a buffet and all the meats are in heated chargers, coated...
I had the nicest experience here. I stayed for a week for a work event and the staff were just so pleasant and friendly. One chap from the desk in particular helped carry my bags to the cab (I'm sorry I didn't catch his name!) but I left feeling very impressed by everyone there and the entire place. The food is great, the bars are great, the views from the top are stunning, and the location is also...

I stayed at this hotel in the past because I enjoyed the sea view and the food. In my last visit, I was not lucky. The room was not what I expected; small, with 2 single beds, limited view, it was without problems but not privileged. Breakfast was only a la carte. I did not claim for anything. Next time, I will try something else.
We stayed for number of days, recently. The spacious room with sea facing balcony provided a wonderful view and comfortable stay. Above all, the staff all around from reception, cleaning to restaurant, very polite, helping, accommodative and responsive. The excellent location on the bank of bay is handy for walking and visit important places and restaurants. Upholstery, furnishings in room, little...
Loved our (me and my sister) stay at The Corinthia! Fabulous staff, who were all very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely large suite with ample storage and two bathrooms! We even had a choice of 2 balconies and a large roof terrace! Outdoor pool was a little nippy!! Hardly surprising in November 🤣🤣 Malta is stunning!!
Wonderfull hotel with great location, excellent service and very comfortable beds. As I was staying with my baby i received and email with a list of the amenities I could ask for my son and everything I asked was ready in my room at my arrival. They have everything for babies so it’s very appreciable to have all needed for kids at the hotel. They also have a baby club from 10am to 1pm and my son loved...
Stayed a week from 8th July. Hotel was lovely, rooms spacious, cool and had a great view over the bay. Some lovely restaurants on site too. Concierge really helpful and bus stop right outside the hotel to help get around. We opted for the hotel airport pick up which was great, driver waiting in arrivals. Downside was although there were numerous pools, only 2 were exclusive for hotel guests, the...
A beautiful hotel with great view. Most rooms has ocean view. Multilevel pools is just spectacular. Room size is quite reasonable with good comfort. Location is just a 5-10 minutes walk from hotel. Good service.

I was so grateful to the hotel for upgrading us to a suite room with a stunning view, and I felt so well rested in this beautiful country that we didn't want to go home. However, the breakfast restaurant in the morning had a conveyor toaster that was too hot and the sliced toast was burnt, the fruit was not that fresh, and there were even mosquito-like small flies. We were ushered into the restaurant...
No heating the first night, and no electricity the third day. Luckily service is quickly in repairing things. The rooms are clean but as a silver member I don’t like to look to an ugly building so the view could definitely be better. Swimming pool inside and outside are great but the jacuzzi was ooo and the steam bath only if you request. The breakfast couldn’t be better ( little flies on the orange...
I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. They really exceed expectations. The rooms are spacious, clean and have every amenity you could want. I would recommend upgrading to the lounge if available. They have an amazing brunch and happy hour spread and the attendants in the lounge were the best I have experienced. The spa is large offering a heated jacuzzi, heated pool, sauna and an outdoor...
AMAZING! Just came back after a stay here, can not compliment it enough. An amazing hotel with lovely, clean and spacious rooms. It had great facilities, an amazing spa and rooftop pool. The staff were so welcoming, accommodating and friendly! It’s in an amazing location overlooking Balluta Bay in St Julian’s, close by to shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend this hotel
We booked a last minute trip to the Marriott Malta and it was without a doubt the best hotel I have stayed in. All the staff were brilliant, and the food divine! Lots of choice at breakfast and a beautiful evening menu. The spa was small but perfect for us to take a quick dip before our evening meal. Location is great with the beach and local transport links right outside and a spar shop if needed...
An incredible hotel nestled in a beautiful location. I stayed in the deluxe room and therefore what I experienced such as the outdoor balcony with a sea view can unfortunately be enjoyed by a few. The attention to detail is what I appreciated about this hotel, as an example the pictures of some of the lights in the room. The food was incredible. Wow! The service by the staff and chef were awesome

Stayed here in late October 2024. Great location, great outdoor pool areas, but boy o boy those pools are cool in Autumn. Breakfast is lovely, everything is fresh, tasty, with lots of options. The bread is to die for The live Jazz band was amazing, going to the Blue Elephant Thai tonight and will review later.
I recently stayed at Hilton Malta and had an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home. The check-in process was quick and efficient, and every team member I encountered was friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to assist. The room was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable...
The rooms were clean, though I was expecting an upgrade but received a fairly standard room with a somewhat limited view of the marina. However, the closed balcony doors ensured the room was very quiet. The hotel offers an excellent breakfast, a very good dinner, and a more average lunch. The service at the hotel was pleasant, but I found it slightly disruptive to be asked twice whether my room was...
It's the Hilton. Food and service was good. It's a very big hotel so expect breakfast to be busy. We went out to the neighborhood for dinner so I can't comment on that. My biggest complaint is the pool hours...no night swimming is just a crime when one is paying these prices. Very busy neighborhood... extremely touristy, so don't expect anything to be cheap. Very kid friendly. Too many kids for me...
Everything about this hotel was exceptional. Staff were very professional, friendly and welcoming, always greeting you whenever you’re around the resort. Staff were able to find a lost item which they dealt with very well. Room was very clean and comfortable and facing the sea, waking up to sunrise every morning. Service was excellent all throughout. Really nice hotel in the center of St. Julian and perfect base for a roadtrip in Malta. Hotel is offering free parking in the shopping complex garage adjacent to the hotel. The service was excellent and the room was super clean. Special thanks goes to Matthew who was super caring and always open for a small and friendly chat. Fully recommended when staying in Malta.
I stayed 10 nights in Sept 2024. It was a good experience and I feel positive about the whole thing. I tried the pools (great), the gym - adequate (squeeky, clunky bicycle, too few weights), tried the spa (another company but also very good), staff are well trained and attentive. Breakfast was OK - actually it is a bit of a bun fight in there, cramped, the logic of the buffet needs rethinking (cornflakes...
We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency. The staff were all very welcoming and so helpful. Being two gay dads with an 11. month old you never know how you will be treated, Malta is a welcoming and very gay friendly country and that also goes for this hotel too! Hydra spa is relaxing. There are two pools one in a garden setting and one by the sea - each have their own charm.
This is not 4 star. we have been going to Malta for the last 10 years and this is the worst hotel we have stayed in. Apparently they are closing it next year according to the holiday rep and this would make sense as the rooms needed updating and the food needs improving. The front of house staff were not very friendly. The location is lovely and the cleaning staff were brilliant.
The place is closing soon for a major and much needed refurbishment. Let's hope it returns as one of the best hotels in Malta when it re-opens in 2020.
Nice hotel, superb view at Valetta acros the boulevard and harbour from seaside rooms. Tiny but ok balkony. Lobby quite small and a bit outdated. Stay was very good, staff was super kind and quick to react. Worth the money and the outdoor pool is gorgeous. Their breakfasts are good too! Wish they dealt with mold in our room, wasn’t very bad but it was a bit concerning, so look out for that (the only reason I gave the place 4 stars)
Location is great if you love nightlife. If you are older, then you definitely need your ear plugs. Lovely small beach but then all the beaches are small here in Malta. You can get buses to all the places of interest from St Julian.
To start I have to say only one word which describes this hotel perfectly and that is brilliant. The hotel itself is in a very interesting, yet very convenient place - inside a shopping centre. That may sound like a problem for someone but trust it isn’t because you cannot hear any noises from the shopping centre and it brings you the advantage of having everything you can even think of at a walkable...
Great value for money. The hotel is in a great location, the staff is helpful and efficient. I especially commend Ms. Martina and Ms. Loredana for their help with a special request - preparing a birthday surprise for my partner. We really liked the outdoor and indoor pool. Neatness and cleanliness at an enviable level. I recommend the hotel and would stay there again!
Enjoyed our stay over Christmas, would recommend hotel and stay again. All staff very friendly and attentive. Located close to lots of nice restaurants and bars. Is in ‘party area’ however we didn’t have any issues with noise from the bars and didn’t disturb sleep. I really like this gym. The facilities and amenities are great, and everything is well-maintained. However, the receptionist who works the 6 PM shift on 16/10/2024 is consistently rude. Took a deluxe room which wasn't. No cupboards no drawers no towel hooks three small open shelves only. Small safe on floor that could be picked up and removed no bath mat. Plaster falling from wall. A bit disappointed to be honest as it was expensive. Nice view though.
Wonderful location at the sea/harbor with pool and own swimming location in front of the hotel. Was not to noisy. Of course you hear some music and traffic from the coastal road. Rooms and hotel is a little aged but okay. AC on level seven had to work hard against sun from rooftop and windows but great views!
Good location to get around the city with lots of restaurants around. Clean room with marina view and not loud at night. Hard to find room near the pool/sea area. Staff could improve on English, breakfast was repetitive, I would suggest a replacement of the lift as it was very hot and takes about a minute before the doors opened.
The room is clean and with a great view. The breakfast is very good with friendly chefs making any eggs you want. You have to be early to the pool to get a spot if you’re a friend group or a family. The air conditioning is central system, that means you don’t get it under 20°c inside your room. The gym is small, but if you are creative, you can get an ok workout. Overall a good experience.
Didnt really know how to score this stay. First the positives. Hotel in a great location. Room a decent size, very clean. Pool area nice and plenty of sunbeds even though hotel was full. Hotel was good, but not a 4*. Big room, comfortable bed, but paper thin towels!! The outdoor pool was small, no service was evident , had to look for towels. Complementary water should be left in the room daily. No info for buses and excursions, apart from a boat trip with food. Breakfast was somewhat limited. Coffee not good at all! Change to a better coffee brand.
I'm staying now in this hotel. My daughter is studying English and we are on vacation. What I mostly like about this hotel is the beautiful view on the seaside, a balcony and the pool on the roof open till 10 p.m. The sea is clean here, not like on public beaches. You can see many kinds of fish. The staff is friendly, the food is good.
The hotel is closely located in the party area of Malta, and so a lot of restaurants and bars are around. The room was very big, comfortable, and clean. The hotel has many amenities. The gym has some machines not working but overall it is fine. The indoor swimming pool is good. Breakfast was not satisfactory, the quality of food is low and the cooking is bad.
the hotel is located in a quiet, nice to small park and sea the room was so nice, the view of the sea was amazing, the terrace was very good, the room was comfortab it was very clean the manager was very nice, she was so polite and nice and fullfilled all requests, everyone was friendly

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the entire staff for the exceptional care and hospitality during our recent stay. The attention to detail and the extra effort and pampering made our experience truly memorable and comfortable. We greatly appreciate their kindness and professionalism, and we will certainly recommend the Hotel to others.
We had a wonderful time at your establishment. The pools were lovely, the beach bars were well-stocked, and the staff was courteous and professional. We appreciated the fact that there were no babies present, as it allowed us to relax and enjoy our vacation in peace. Thank you for your hospitality.
Great location. Food was OK if you are here for a day. They haven't changed the breakfast menu not once in the week I was here. It is ridiculous to say they have "spa and sauna". Personally I really dislike the wooden chairs, tables and beds' base. it gives out "ancient" feel. otherwise the bed mattress was comfortable. Great terrace view. Plenty of outdoor pools.
This hotel is perfect for a holiday in Malta(St Julian's).. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with many good restaurants on site. The shining light of this hotel is the staff...from managers to supervisors to waiting and cleaning staff..they are all friendly, efficient and polite and make you feel special. Congratulations to the manager for excellent recruitment and training. You can walk to the...
The room is not tiny, and the balcony and sea view are gorgeous. The provided breakfast is rich. But the clearness and efficiency are still needed to improve. We found the last customer’s belongings in the closet and some breadcrumbs on the table. More than that, there was yoghurt garbage in the trash can, and it didn't smell good...

It was my first time on Malta and this was the best experience ever! Hotel is so nice, clean, tidy, quiet. Beds so comfortable, all facilities available. Staff is so lovely, helpful, I felt like home and so much welcomed! Gorgeous roof swimming pool, excellent breakfast in hotel. In St Julian’s felt like summer in january with 20 degrees, full of life 🥰 Valletta very near. Definitely will back again
Me and my daughter stayed at this hotel on our 3 nights trip to Malta. It was pleasant stay, rooms were good size and cleaned everyday. I didn’t got the nice view but i guess i got what i paid for so it wasn’t bad at all. Location is ideal and convenient to go anywhere in Malta , bus station was few minutes walk away. Restaurants and beautiful scenic views of St Julian's was amazing.
Very well located within walking distance of many restaurants and places to visit, 2 minutes walk to the nearest Mall / Supermarket. Breakfast is amazing - I do recommend this option to everyone. Rooms cleaned daily, tea + instant coffee provided free of charge and also replenished on a daily bases. Room very comfy and quite spacious. Hotel staff very friendly and eager to help no matter the time...
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, and there were many positive aspects worth highlighting. The location is excellent, close to the bay and conveniently near bus stops, making it easy to explore the area. One of the highlights was the stunning view from the rooftop, offering a breathtaking panorama of the city and the bay – truly unforgettable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready...
I stayed at the hotel for two nights with breakfast, and everything was perfect. The service was amazing, the breakfast was rich and varied, and the entire hotel was impeccably clean. My room had everything I needed, and the staff were friendly and always smiling. However, a big downside was the unheated rooftop pool, which is unacceptable during the winter season.
The hotel is well-located and with a great infrastructure. The location is just walking distance from St. Julian's bay and is surrounded by fine dining restaurants and cafes. The hotel offers a free on-site car park with a self-registering system that allows you to safely park the car under a surveillance system. Access to the car park is through a lift that goes directly to the reception or desired...

I stayed for 3 nights and it was a lovely experience. The room was very spacious and clean. I had breakfast each morning and was impressed with the amount of food on offer. The fresh fruit and fresh bread were excellent. I appreciated they had soya and almond milk, so I could have a nice coffee each morning too. Only one small thing that didn't work well was the kettle in my room, the lid must have...
We recently had the pleasure of staying at AX The Victoria Hotel, and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The property itself was beautiful, with clean, well-maintained facilities that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. However, what truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment we arrived, the employees were incredibly...
We can not praise this hotel enough. Very friendly staff, the receptions, the breakfast crew, the cleaners and the dynamic duo behind the bar. Fantastic room, spotlessly clean, great location for all public transport to get around the island. The only problem is we're leaving tomorrow! Thank you and see you next year.
I was there with my 2 daughters in winter (which was a comfortable 16 degrees and sun in Malta). We enjoyed the indoor pool (although it was a tad small). The staff were all super friendly. We had half board and dinner at tabloid was great. The waiter from Nepal (sorry I don't remember his name) was exceptional and so friendly and polite and great with the kids. The lovely man working the bar at Penny...
Fantastic hotel, stayed at the Victoria in July this year for a short summer break away from the UK. Good hotel, located a few mins walk from the beach. Rooms were spacious and well decorated. Staff were all friendly and very helpful. Really well equipped gym, indoor pool and sauna. Steam room functioning but there’s an damp/mouldy smell in there. Rooftop pool area also lovely with a nice sea view. Wasn’t a big fan of the breakfast though so docked a point. Absolutely recommend. The beach club was 2 minutes walk from the hotel and can be used for free if you’re staying at the hotel. We always had available sunbeds, though I would recommend to arrive early. It has access to the sea as well, the pool is reasonable size with sea water. The hotel also has a rooftop pool with fewer sunbeds, free of charge. We stayed in the family room, the bed was very large...
The room was a lot smaller than we thought but it’s okay since we’re not in our room all the time anyway. The service however? Outstanding! Cannot thank the staff enough for the warm welcomes, excellent service and kindness especially to Kristian, Njambe and Marie who we met in the pool and then became our group tour host. All of them greeted us like old friends and gave us tips how to enjoy Malta...
The rooms are amazing. Especially for Europe. The pool is a beach club. It’s loud and crowded not chill and relaxing like it looks in the photo, which was a big downer for me. They also took my water bottle and I felt like I should be able to bring my water to what I thought was the hotel pool. The spa was a little weird in terms of service. Also, having the website for your code and stuff was a little...
We really enjoyed our stay here. We were kindly upgraded at check in from a superior room to a suite which offered more space. Spa was lovely and empty in the mornings. We were always able to get a spot at the beach club and enjoyed the facilities there immensely. It is only a short walk away, though closes at 6.30pm. The trips are a lovely addition but book up quickly - we managed to go on a sunset...
The bar is lovely. The Hotel Front service staff are super helpful and friendly. Reasonably priced, nice, relaxing atmosphere. The bartender was incredibly clean and hygienic while making the drinks! Would come back next time we are in sliema.
Really lovely hotel and beach club. Staff were lovely, food really good, great value happy hour. Sadly building works next door were very noisy some mornings but obviously not the hotel’s fault! Only downside is Sliema is a bit out of the way - not easy access to Valletta (which we had hoped for) but overall really enjoyed and recommend!

I stayed in the park hotel winter 2017 and at the time there was no issues with hygiene. It's quite central in Sliema with some cheap restaurants nearby. I think at the time the hotel was classed as a four star but it was two at best. Did have a indoor pool and jacuzzi in 2017 which were good. Even a small gym inside which was decent to train in. Overall a lot has changed since but our stay was good
Stayed for 3 nights June 2019 Read a lot of negative reviews about this hotel, not sure why! Yes the place his a bit dated and probably could do with a touch of paint but my room was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities I needed. Didn't use the rooftop terrace or pool so can't comment on that, but for £50 a night with breakfast included I can't have any complaints! You get what you pay for...
We sat in this hotel for 4 nights over the Easter break. Overall, the room was average with clear signs of wear and tear. Our room was a three star room as opposed to four stars, as it was advertised. The breakfast was good with a wide selection of omlettes, cheese, salami and coffee. The staff was polite and always ready to help. The location is very good as well.
Great Hotel, Great staff, Great location. The staff were very friendly and made me feel very welcome. Breakfast was very good with a good variety .I had my evening meal one night in there and it was the best pizza I have had. The indoor pool and Jacuzzi was a lovely way to relax after and day of walking around. It was a just a few meters to the main sea road where buses run and as it was in a side...
Good location. Close to public transport and restaurants. Breakfast was Fab, quite impressed actually. Composed of hot and cold dishes buffet style, with constant refills. Nothing was too great for the smiling waitresses. Swimming pool was a bit small but there was another on the roof top which I didn't use due to weather. The gym room was staffed and equipment OK. There was a tourist desk for tickets...
Love this place. It is in a great location Marisa and all of her staff are so friendly and welcoming. The food is very good and the Restaurant Manager , a really nice Turkish Man called Berdan has done an amazing job in ensuring quality food and drinks are available at all times. Nice basic hotel, great location. Rooms thoroughly cleaned every day. Had a lovely stay whilst visiting family.
Really nice place, the View is great. Rooms are clean, bathroom new! Cleaning every day, and the possibility to book free sauna session with jacuzzi. The stuff is nice, funny and really relaxed ☺️, it’s close to everything 🧜🏼‍♀️🩵 I recommend 🎉
we really enjoyed our stay at the diplomat hotel! the room was very comfortable, clean and well equipped (smart tv, toiletteries, towels, snacks & drinks), the only downside were the thin walls. breakfasts were okay, nothing special, but there was a lot to choose from, we never left hungry. nice sea view from the balcony too! it's a bit hard to find a parking space close to the hotel though.
I stayed in the Diplomat Hotel for 3 nights and it was basically "fine," but lots of things were just a little bit inexplicably broken. For example, the AC in my room definitely just blew hot air, the fridge in the room *kind of* worked, but didn't keep things very cold and had a puddle of water (or something else) inside of it, and the wifi was constantly cutting out. None of these were critical...
Well appointed hotel. On the quieter side of Sliema Bay. Close to restaurants and bars. Excellent breakfast, wide choice of food which is regularly replaced with fresh dishes during the breakfast time. Would recommend when visiting Valletta and surrounding area. We stayed for two weeks over Christmas and New Year, and felt at home. All the facilities we wanted, a generous size room with a great view and no direct sunshine. We usually ate out, but the hotel meals we had were adequate and inexpensive.
We had the most amazing time at The Waterfront. To say that the staff are accommodating, friendly and welcoming is an understatement. The service staff for breakfast, lunch and dinner are all such wonderful and helpful people who go out of their way to help and they really deserve recognition and respect from everyone. The front desk is also wonderful, helping us with questions and booking our taxis...
Friendly professional people. Nice rooms and room service, quiet too. Breakfast is good, prices are good. Nothing to complain!
I came only half a day because I needed a very quiet place for teleworking as I had an important online meeting. I was very happy with the room. It was clean and I had coffee and water. I enjoyed the quietness of the room and it offered me good conditions to pass a very good online meeting. The internet signal was very good. It was a good option to come here for teleworking.

The rooms advertised on Booking.com and that we actually booked do not exist. I spoke to the manager and she said she would get owner to look into it. Every one of the staff were excellent and will certainly be back again.

My stay here was amazing! It's pretty central to many areas. 10-15min taxi ride to Valletta, 40min to MDina, and the restaurants and bars are a walk down the street. My room and parlor were beautiful. There was a soaking tub behind the bed, while a separate shower and toilet room. Initially, I was a little lost because the hotel is at the end of a long drive way.

Brilliant location, clean, helpful staff. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss, but that didn't bother me too much. Rooms were clean but could do with a bit of an update. I understand the financial pressures of the Covid lock downs so, again was not a problem for me. I don't understand some of the reviews on here as my stay was just what I wanted, and for the price a bargain.
While underwhelming at first sight, give it a few days and its strategic location and kind staff will surely grow on you. Also the wi-fi is excellent.
Only stayed for 3 days, but for the price this hotel is great value, the location was good, room was spotless and cleaned to a very high standard every day, the staff are extremely hard working and the reception staff could not have been more helpful, the breakfast was of a very high standard plenty of it and piping hot.
