Reviews
Very expensive to upgrade. Sometimes late checkout not available.
On arrival there hotel room was bot ready which is understandable . They were able to use the facilities.,so in there hand luggage they went and put on there bikinis to go to the pool, only to be told by the staff to cover up 24 year old women I ask you. As long as there not naked does it really matter.
Upon arrival, we were met with loud, disruptive noises coming from the room above—like heavy furniture being dragged around. This went on late into the evening and started again in the early morning, making it impossible to sleep.
We requested a room change, but it didn’t make much of a difference. Honestly, I think all rooms are like that. Sound from every direction—music from the bar, noise in the corridor, and street sounds—flooded the room. Despite complaining to the reception, the staff showed no compassion or willingness to address the issue, instead informing us that noise is permitted in Malta from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. This made it clear that the hotel prioritizes the noise policy over the comfort of its guests.
The windows in the room offered no insulation, making it feel as though we were sleeping outside. The balcony doors wouldn’t close properly, so escaping the noise was impossible, even during the supposed "quiet hours." We asked for earplugs, but the manager said they don't provide them. Complaining again about the noise was useless.
We were told that the noise is to be expected in a residential area, which felt like a weak excuse for a 4-star hotel failing to soundproof its rooms. Instead of acknowledging their shortcomings, the staff implied we were wrong for complaining.
The issues didn’t stop there. The balcony chair was broken, and the bathroom door barely worked. When we pointed it out to the housekeepers they said that they haven’t seen that, which is hard to believe given the obvious state of disrepair.
The only positive part of our stay was the food and the kind restaurant staff, but this was not enough to salvage an otherwise uncomfortable and unwelcome experience.
If you're seeking rest or relaxation, this hotel is not the place for you. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.
First, the basics: towels, blankets, and pillows were **never** changed throughout our stay. We had to deal with dirty, smelly linens every single day. And if that wasn’t bad enough, the rooms were infested with **ants and cockroaches**—we found a cockroach the moment we stepped into our room!
The room itself was a disaster. They crammed four of us into a space that barely fits two. The lack of space was so bad that I kept falling out of bed and now have bruises all over my legs. To make matters worse, the keycard for our room stopped working, and instead of helping us, the staff blamed us for it—even though we hadn’t done anything wrong!
Speaking of the staff, they were incredibly rude and unprofessional. They treated us like we were the problem, rather than paying guests. Their attitude made an already bad situation even worse.
To top it all off, due to a mistake on their part, we were forced to change rooms at **1:30 AM** after we had already unpacked and settled in. We had to make multiple trips back and forth to move all of our belongings, and the staff offered no help whatsoever. It was a chaotic and exhausting experience that no guest should ever have to go through.
The food wasn’t much better. While taste is subjective, and everyone has their own preferences, I found the food to have a strange texture and poor quality. I wasn’t the only one—many others in our group felt the same way.
This hotel was a complete disaster from start to finish. I strongly advise anyone considering a stay here to think twice—especially if you expect a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. This place doesn’t even come close to what you’d expect from a four-star hotel. It’s honestly the worst place I’ve ever stayed in
Friendly helpful staff.
Great facilities, under staffed though (no lifeguards)
Decent food
Location is decent
Negatives
Armies of teenagers from schools ruin the whole experience. With no lifeguards at any of the pools they cause havok, are annoying and rude even in the spa which should be a calm relaxing environment.
Air con does nothing for the rooms stuffy and humid worse than the central line in London.
Cleaning is done daily which is nice.
Rooms do need some tlc .
Beds were comfy ,bit we had a balcony facing inside the courtyard so was very noisy ,there was groups of like 40 to 50 teenagers .
Roof top pool was lovely but bar wasn't open ,and be aware our coach dropped us on the main road and we had to walk up a really steep hill to get to hotel .
