The room was extremely huge with ample space to pack, bed was comfy as well! Love the room lounge chair, so comfortable after a day filled with activity. View at the swimming pool was extremely great as well!

It’s a nice hotel and the rooms are very well designed. Staff are friendly and helpful. However the food is really average which is not a good thing for a hotel of this caliber in the city if Penang which is famous for its food. I highly suggest the hotel management to review their food quality and try to enhance.

Had a great time staying at the G Hotel Kelawai. The environment is great and cozy. Thanks to the team, all of them are nice and friendly 👍🏼 The location is great, slot between two malls and near the Gurney drive hawker Center.

Not as good as before COVID. The bedsheet stained, the carpet isn’t clean upon checking in, it is not toddler friendly (not sure they provide bassinet, but I didn’t request.) And there were baby cockroach running around the coffee machines at the restaurant.

Room is spacious and cleanliness although the cleaning is taken place alternatively. But you can request amenities anytime between 8am to 8pm. You may expect the service is abit slow but steady. Comfortable stay and I loved the decor in their bathrooms as well! They had a false ceiling light which gave a very cosy feeling. Staff was friendly and helpful! They have free parking even for rented cars, do note that the car park lift is separate from the hotel lobby lift. Convenient location as well! Stayed for five days. Overall a great experience. Receptions are super polite and accommodating for all of my needs, housekeeping doing a good job. Breakfast and in-dining are delicious. The hotel was very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in Penang and the rooms was well kept and clean and breakfast was excellent. Would recommend to anyone who wants a good place to stay at very reasonable pricing.

This old hotel is strategically located the food paradise, accesing nearby food within walking distant. Room is spacious, upgraded 2HP AC, very cold. Toilet and Hot water OK juga. Bed only o so. Twin sharing can order extra bedding and it is still averagely good. The hotel and the rooms overall looks dated but clean. Staff service was at par with the usual 4/5* rating. Most of them are able to speak in English. Location is great with many local food available with ½ km and malls as well. This is the ideal location. For a holiday. All rooms are unique in their own way and reflect the U.N.E.S.C.O World heritage buffer zone preservation system Penang has become famous for. I stayed there for 3 days in September-19 in the single studio. Best thing about it are the staff that are so helpful giving you everything you bed and giving you good tips on effete to stay. Jealous of good good stalls just a walk away. I did find the hotel itself is a bit aged. The hot water was not very consistent. It's not too bad for its price range. Bed is decent. However, upon entering the room, there is a very pungent smell. No towels and no toilet paper. Had to request and wait quite a while for them. Situated in George Town, Penang, named a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO since 2011. This late 19th-century colonial-style house embodies a modern Victorian concept & elements of Van Gogh’s theme.

The room was very comfortable, super clean and the TV worked perfectly. I really liked that the make the room everyday and restock all the bathroom amenities. The staff is super attentive and nice. Good location easy to get uber. Definitely I would stay again.
