The hotel is located at central, extremely convenient for those whom are not driving. 1st avenue just across the street and connecting to few shopping Center. Hotel staffs are helpful with our queries. Returned clients for few times.

Good experience staying here. Despite the sudden water disruption (Penang, state wide disruption), the hotel handled it well and provided drinking water for guest without any inconvenience caused.

Pros: The hotel is centrally located in the heart of georgetown. It's my second time in 6 months. It's nice that they always let you check in early. Plenty of carpark so nothing to worry about. Cons: Toilet is always clogged. They really gotta do something about it. Breakfast needs improvement. Variety is too little.

Parking are very limited, had to park at another place with higher cost. Room are clean, comfortable and really quiet. But the room quit small, there’s no coffee/kettle/refrigerator/tv/iron. Only have the microwave and hair dryer. But everything was just and nice, me and my husband was enjoyed our honeymoon🥰

Hotel crew are extremely helpful and friendly. I rent a car to drive myself and they are very happy to share with me where can I go for good food and nearby car wash. The hotel location are surrounded by all type of good food and attractions basically just need a 10-20 min travelling time. Definitely will visit this hotel again.

The hotel is located 15 - 30 minutes of walking distance away from night market, dimsum restaurants, cafe and shopping mall. Room is clean, quiet and bed is super comfortable with complimentary toiletries. It's a good choice for holiday. Only down side is their bar closes early by 7pm but there are plenty of drink places not far away.

The location is great, rather central in Georgetown and many of the food spots we wanted to visit were within walking distance from the hotel. There is also a huge mall nearby. The room was clean and serviced daily. It is located on a quiet street so there wasn't much traffic noise even though we were on a low floor.

Absolutely love this Hotel with the enclosed courtyard in the Perenakan style. All rooms are unique in their own way and reflect the U.N.E.S.C.O World heritage buffer zone preservation system Penang has become famous for. Multiple weeks spent here in May 2023. Room was a top floor spacious room with a king size bed with lots of pillows. Had a pleasant family stay at Red Rock Hotel! Great location on Jalan Macalister, close to Penang’s famous hawker food. Our room was spacious and clean, though a bit dated. The pool was great for the kids, and the staff were friendly. Hotel could use some renovations, but for the price, it’s a good budget-friendly option in George Town.

I love the heritage cultural, wooden style, historical vibe and especially the first time I'm seeing a bathtub with jacuzzi. Fully furnished and also outside have a water dispenser without worrying to look for water. Very convenient place to stay and also walkable to mamak, street food, restaurants and cafe's nearby. We arrived at this 1926 Heritage Hotel and found our way around the arrival hall to get to the reception located at the side entrance to check in. Athough our room has been renewed but it still shows signs of a poorly restored job. The housekeeping staff should remove the beds to vacuum and mop the floor underneath them. Wonderful stay in this hotel where l can shop till I drop in Prangin Mall, and The First Avenues which are walking distance. Jen Cafe during breakfast was very busy. The only disappointment was that vegetarian options provided are very limited.

Great hotel in central China Town location in George Town. Room was slightly smaller than expected and smelt of damp when we first arrived, but with AC and extractor fan on it went away quickly. Mezzanine bed was comfy, hot shower and lots of spaces for bags under bed! Fairly quiet hotel with not many comings and goings. Free washing machine to use on site. Cafe downstairs also.

A hotel with a great concept with cafe at the ground floor, bar at the first floor and also not many hotels are pet friendly. However the bar doesn’t really open anymore.
