Great facilities, got infinity pool, however the view from pool not really great. Housekeeping service can be improved. The do not clean room everyday due to alternate day housekeeping

Receptions are super polite and accommodating for all of my needs, housekeeping doing a good job. Breakfast and in-dining are delicious. Loves their omelette and salmon. Pool with city view, relaxing

Love the cleanliness of the rooms and towels. Although our room had a discernible cigarette smoke odour upon checking in, the housekeepers were quick to help freshen up the air

The hotel was extremely busy when we tried to check in around 4pm, so there was a long wait but the staff that handled my check in is quick and professional as long as you are reasonable and prepared

Room is spacious and cleanliness although the cleaning is taken place alternatively. But you can request amenities anytime between 8am to 8pm. You may expect the service is abit slow but steady

Excellent location right in the middle of heritage city center with many good eateries, landmarks and shopping options. Parking is free for guests and valet parking is available for a fee

Nice hotel to stay in city area. Has swimming pool, separate ladies and gentlemen jacuzzi, sauna, kids club,fitness

Attended a wedding dinner at the ballroom. Chinese course dinner is very nice. Service is good and staff are courteous and helpful. Wheelchair friendly. Parking lots available both outside and inside the gotel building.

Ample of parking lots at multi storey parking at the back of hotel. Sauna, jacuzzi (hot and cool) and steam room. (Separate for male and female) and children are not allowed to use these facilities

Two nicely painted tennis courts available. Drink at the freezer is free to consume. TV a bit old and not many channels available. Friendly porter is friendly and helpful

Love the breakfast and where else can you get free apples daily with complimentary mini bar. Location is perfect and gym facilities is great too

Great hotel!! Good location, near Komtar and on the doorstep of street food on some nights. Rooms were clean, all classic amenities are available. There is an equipped gym and a nice swimming pool with a jacuzzi

The breakfast was alright, choice is limited, the staff operating the breakfast were pretty lazy, they let items run out and were slow to refill them. Otherwise other staff were friendly and helpful

The room and corridor carpets are getting old. But no complaint about the cleanliness. There is a breakfast buffet which costs around 50RM plus. The hotel has a free shuttle service to some of the tourist spots

Needs a lot of improvement in terms of variety and flavor. The street food in Lorong Baru was just beside the hotel. If we go back, we would definitely skip eating in the hotel

However, during night time, it would be difficult to drive out as there are food stalls nearby which block one end of the road, also cause the road to be congested

If there is anything that should be improved, i will think that the area near the children pool should be designated clearly as non-smoking

Wonderful stay in this hotel where l can shop till I drop in Prangin Mall, and The First Avenues which are walking distance. Jen Cafe during breakfast was very busy

Concierge service is very attentive to your needs and allows to keep your bags securely if you arrive early or depart late. Did not have the hotel breakfast but there were long lines daily to get to the breakfast area

Not the most newest hotel in Georgetown but it still holds for being situated at a convenient, secure location; just walk behind the hotel to a variety of food markets, restaurants, heritage sites and tourist spots

Location wise the hotel is right next to the 1st Avenue mall and other shops. You have to take one flight of stairs from the parking to check in so might be easier to drop off your bags at the front before parking

The staff are extremely friendly and went above and beyond. They gave us an early check in without any fuss. Always greeting us with a warm smile. The room is clean and spacious. Bed and pillows are super comfy

Rooms a bit old but its clean and spacious, comfy for family. Great counter service, very friendly. Location superb, can walk to tour attractions. Parking so easy and within the compound of the hotel.

I had a very large comfortable room and there is a free breakfast with omelette bar. Nice pool and friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

This old hotel is strategically located the food paradise, accesing nearby food within walking distant. Room is spacious, upgraded 2HP AC, very cold. Toilet and Hot water OK juga

Twin sharing can order extra bedding and it is still averagely good. But, it is economical, especially for outstation duty for 1 or 2 nights that can accommodate to my hi top van to park at outdoor parking

Opposite the hotel u can find MS food court famous for the lam mee, char koay teow and Wakzee Nasi Lemak. If you are a coffee lover, frank laurent coffee roasters and Zus Coffee will be your daily morning places to go

My family and I have been a regular patron of this hotel since the 90's. I absolutely adore the service and everything is beyond satisfactory.

For the price of the room, it is very reasonable. Very convenient location and good to see they have renovated the rooms

The location is great, rather central in Georgetown and many of the food spots we wanted to visit were within walking distance from the hotel. There is also a huge mall nearby. The room was clean and serviced daily

With its location near popular tourist hot spots and 3 of its mall within 5 mins walking distance. If you need to do some necessities shopping, you can always head to 1st Avenue LG village grocer for it

The family room can sleep 4 comfortably with dual hard and soft pillows and king-size bedding. Clean rooms and toilets are important as well. Service from the front desk was good too

And if you’re telling the truth that you were fully booked out for the kind of room I was in, for someone checking in at 3pm, you should explain why you didn’t notify me of the items I had left behind

Our room was extremely big and it was really clean. The only down side is , since it is a boutique hotel, the insulation is not that great and you can hear people walking around up stairs

It's a nice place located at the heart of Georgetown. Very close to many hawkers' spots. We enjoyed the beautifully decorated room very much, especially the jacuzzi

Hotel is located strategically, easy to find parking (off peak hours) and has a peaceful quiet setting. Also made friends with a cute little kitty

The frontdesk staff were very helpful and friendly. They helped upgrade our room to a better one, and my husband and I enjoyed our stay there

The hotel certainly needs a decent refurbishment to bring it back to its heyday. The highlight of the hotel is the swimming pool, though we did not have time to take a plunge into the pool

The Monroe restaurant is small but they serve everything that you can imagine. As the saying goes, nice things come in small packages. The breakfast provided at Hainanese Restaurant was simple but delicious

This one of a kind hotel is unique. The architecture is from the British Colonial. It's old but they are trying to keep it the way it was during it's hay days. They have done a marvelous job

Access to Penang Jetty is very easy and near from this hotel. Very friendly staff ? If you got plans to stay in Butterworth for a day or two; do check it out

Surrounded by Indian restaurants and mini marts selling Indian spices. A few mamak stalls selling tasty chicken/lamb soup and of course famous for their nasi kandar with the locals

Booked it randomly on the road and it turned out to be a good steal and great place to stay overnight. They got very comfortable, clean and cozy bed and bathroom in their room

The price is cheap. Very close raja uda where you can get a lot of food by car. Recommend to book an non windows facing room as there is a hindu temple next to it and it will rings the bell in early morning.

Room was clean but had a smoke smell that filled the air, even though we got a non-smoking room. There were some cigarette ashes found in the toilet bowl. Basically stayed there for the price.

Although I typically stay at five-star hotels, I have to say this place matches, if not surpasses, any five-star hotel I’ve been to. It was spotlessly clean—I couldn’t find a single speck of dust

Anna, who welcomed us, was impressively efficient and kind. The two other staff members, both Indian, one male and one female, were equally friendly and accommodating. Lastly, the location couldn’t be better

East Indies Mansion is a beautifully converted hotel from a house with over two hundred years of history, and the building itself carries an incredible sense of heritage

Decent for an overnight stay. Great if you want someplace in between Bayan Lepas and Georgetown. This place is rather old but still well maintained.

Free hot and cold water dispenser machine available at the lobby. Have well function water heater for shower, but unable to control the water temperature in the face wash, and toilet. Sound proof quite unsignificant

Quite hard to find parking nearby the hotel, and the nearest opened car park is extremely high risk bird poop area. Some of the floor tile seems empty underneath and will crack anytime

As its budget hotel, dont expect so much. I book a room and the bed’s sheet are stained and not cleaned properly. I requested to change another room, but seem better the previous one

But if to compared to other budget hotel around/near to this area, I would reccomend Tune Hotel Georgetown (rate might be few ringgit more than this hotel, but the accomodations is ???)

The best budget hotel in Georgetown for anyone whose want save money to get some cool stuff for taking home to your country.

This is where I usually stay when I visit Penang Island. Sadly they have a new parking system from when I last visited and the parking is exorbitant. I'd recommend staying here only if you came on public transport

Would give the hotel 5 stars but the parking cost really ruined things

Very small room. Rate can by sky rocketing especially during year end where penang bridge marathon will be held every November. Walking distance to Queensbay Mall.

Honestly, I was really impressed of the excellent service they had provided to me. It is definitely an unforgettable experience to meet such nice people even though I just dropped in the hotel for a short while

The hotel knows that nowadays people have more than 1 gadget to charge at night so provides a multi-purpose plug for its guests. Staff are very helpful, give tips on where to eat, take public transport, change money etc

close to the bus station and right next to a food court with various cuisines. and very kind and helpful staff (the owner), who let us stay a few hours after check-out. The capsule room is nice and comfortable

The place and capsules are really clean and comfy. I enjoyed staying for one night. It's affordable and ideal for a short visit to the island, suitable for two or three nights of budget-friendly sleep.

It is located less than 4 min walk from Sungai Nibong Bus Terminal where many express and local buses stop. So even with heavy luggage, one should have no problem walking there from the bus terminal

There is free water and a hot water server. possible to eat your food in the lounge space. The firm orange bag with their logo is also given at check-out, which was useful at travel

This guesthouse is probably the best we have ever stayed in - and we've stayed in a lot. I absolutely love it, it is well set up, the rooms are beautiful, airy, high ceilings, spacious with air-conditioning and a fan

Stayed here for five nights and was totally blown away. The place is decorated beautifully and is situated in the heart of George town. There's so many amazing bars and restaurants on your doorstep

Our bed was really comfortable and the room really beautiful decorated. The windows were the best we had in Malaysia so far and not paper thin. We also liked having an air conditioning and a fan

Just to add, this guesthouse is in perfect location for exploring everywhere in Georgetown, so many delicious food places within a couple of minutes walking distance, also museums etc

The Coffee Atelier is perfectly located, so you can start exploring the town and enjoy the street food stands in the evening, which are just around the corner

Awesome little hotel with very personal service. Ruby and her sister give it the attention it deserves and take care of all your needs

We enjoyed the best sleeps here. The breakfast at Coffee Atelier is really great and included with the room. Of course fresh squeezed orange juice, barista coffee, fruit, cereal or eggs, toast, yogurt

The king size bed here was great, the pillows were excellent and the air conditioning, as well as ceiling fan were more than enough to keep Canadians cool, even under the most comfortable cozy duvet

The lady’s that run this hotel are the best you’ll ever find. The location in George Town is perfect. Lots of great street food, Indian food and great variety within 5 minutes

1 queen bed at lower floor and 1 more bed at lofting. Convenient for backpackers and youngsters but if your family have elder people or someone that using wheelchair then it might probably not suitable

From the moment you walk in you are greeted with friendly happy attentive staff, welcomed with a welcome drink & checked in quickly. Staff go out of their way to accomodate to any needs

Room was clean and nice, and mostly, the staff were super friendly and helpful!!!! They recommended us a lot of places from the famous touristy places to the local-loved places

It was really really good stay and it was much much better than what we expected, especially if you consider how cheap it is to stay at this hotel
