The fridge is nicely located at eye level & intentionally left empty. Swimming pool was good & had a nice view of the surrounding area
Love the cleanliness of the rooms and towels. Although our room had a discernible cigarette smoke odour upon checking in, the housekeepers were quick to help freshen up the air
Easy walk to 1st Avenue Mall that is connected to Prangin Mall (2nd storey). The hotel is well maintained & quiet facing as requested for our 4 night stay. It would be nice if hair conditioner & body lotion is provided
I was truly appreciative to have a quiet and peaceful environment to have all my meals in the hotel. Giles has the most comfortable linens that you can find. I slept well and hope to return again in very near future
Very clean but the room a bit small than my expectation for executive room. Breakfast at executive lounge. Request for baby coat and my baby sleep well🤍 Service was good. Thank you all staff good service👍🏻
We were upgraded to premium lounge, which includes breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails. It's a great gesture for me as I am going through chemo therapy, the hygiene issue is top priority for me

While the decor and finishing did feel somewhat dated, it was evident that the hotel has been very well maintained, ensuring a clean and comfortable stay
A four-star hotel should not provide towels with torn edges or bedsheets stained with blood and other unknown marks. Equally disappointing was the breakfast, which offered limited choices and lacked flavor.
Overall, the combination of a great location, roomy accommodations, and excellent upkeep makes the Sunway Hotel a solid choice for travelers
One standout feature was the spaciousness of the room, which far exceeded what you typically find in newly developed hotels
Great location with many eatery and local products shops around. Good stay with parking
Close to all the food centre and easy check-in. Overall, it was a great experience.

This hotel got a goods and convenience location to go through every of foodie and near bus stations for there to other parts of Malaysia and border of southern of Thailand’s so within walk distance that is a good place for you to visit and stay for a couple of days in the centre of Penang near George town
Hotel is quite clean, service is good and as mentioned earlier centrally located, the hotel offers free water bottles so best keep hydrated. They will also hold onto your luggage if you have a late flight (like I do)
Hotel is central and close to everything you would need. The main bus station is nearby catching bus 401E will get you to the hotel and return. 7 ringgit the driver does not offer change so bring 4 x 1 or exact
Everything is good as well as location. But the bed is quite stiff, I recommend the hotel to add a additional layer of mattress topper to improve the sleeping experience!
Closed to Kimberly night market and several attraction points. Good to stay here for travelling around Georgetown. Staff very polite and responsive.
very convenient location in the heart of Geoge Town. near to Prangin Mall and all the local famous eateries. Room & Toilet is very clean

Good place to stay. Just one minus, the pillow so small.
The pool was great for the kids, and the staff were friendly. Hotel could use some renovations, but for the price, it’s a good budget-friendly option in George Town
Hotel is walking distance to komtar and surrounding attractions. Room with bathtub and swimming pool. Parking is limited. First come first serve.
Worth to stay as easy to access to happening area. Soundproofing room need to improve especially near the swimming pool room
At first the ac is not cold enough, but after a quick assist from front desk the ac problem is fix. The location is very convenience for us. But we got a smaller size bedroom than before. Overall is ok
I had a very large comfortable room and there is a free breakfast with omelette bar. Nice pool and friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

We stayed for 3 nights here! Check-in was swift since we arrived at the hotel ~5pm. We loved the spacious room with vintage Peranakan decor. The king-bed was so comfortable
I love the heritage cultural, wooden style, historical vibe and especially the first time I'm seeing a bathtub with jacuzzi. Fully furnished and also outside have a water dispenser without worrying to look for water
We ended up only with coffee and croissants and headed out for local foods, since Penang is a food paradise 😝😜! It is great to stay at George Town, as the area has a lot of Michelin-rated eateries
Best experience was the bathtub with jacuzzi! After a hot day touring around Penang, a long soak in the tub was very refreshing! The air-conditioner tripped on our last night 😭
Thankfully the ceiling fan was strong enough to keep us cool. The room came with daily breakfasts, and the spread was the same
It was easy to Grab to anywhere too!

The hotel certainly needs a decent refurbishment to bring it back to its heyday. The highlight of the hotel is the swimming pool, though we did not have time to take a plunge into the pool
Environment verry Heritage & Style. Clean in overall. Swimming pool not to small but Ok for kids enjoy the pool. Easy Parking because can park near room.
Cheap but the customer service is so awesome!! The vibe so warm. If the swimming pool can open from 7am -10pm, it will be the best
The Monroe restaurant is small but they serve everything that you can imagine. As the saying goes, nice things come in small packages. The breakfast provided at Hainanese Restaurant was simple but delicious
This one of a kind hotel is unique. The architecture is from the British Colonial. It's old but they are trying to keep it the way it was during it's hay days. They have done a marvelous job
For those who appreciate olden architecture, do try out this great hotel

Not the most newest hotel in Georgetown but it still holds for being situated at a convenient, secure location; just walk behind the hotel to a variety of food markets, restaurants, heritage sites and tourist spots
He was very friendly and had attention to detail with regards to our luggage and taxi. I would highly recommend Jen Penang Georgetown to anyone looking for a blend of luxury, comfort, and outstanding hospitality
There were also adults and children swimming/playing in the pool with their clothes on, but the staff didn't say anything at all
Excellent Stay with a Great Location I had a fantastic experience at Jen Penang Georgetown Hotel. The room was immaculate, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with an armchair and king bed
I particularly appreciated the automated bidet in the toilet. The hotel's location was ideal, close to TOP Komtar and First Avenue Mall, yet it still felt peaceful and private. What truly stood out was the concierge
It is always a pleasure to visit Jen Hotel Penang, particularly the Club floor on the 16th. The entire staff, including Abang Halim and Sham, is exceptionally welcoming

Stayed one night for a work trip and had a great experience. Clean, comfortable room and a smooth check-in process. Convenient location and excellent service.
Everything is good and if I had to comment on something then it’s definitely the toilet, it’s long rectangular concept and it’s quite squeezy.
If u have big luggage, this place not suitable for u. U need to bring ur luggaga using a stair. But uncle at receptionist so friendly
Friendly staff, cozy and location very close to Mall I like stay this hotel and I recommend to you stay here 😉 😊
This is where I usually stay when I visit Penang Island. Sadly they have a new parking system from when I last visited and the parking is exorbitant. I'd recommend staying here only if you came on public transport
Overall is good! Because it is a budget hotel, I don't have too many complaints. but the air conditioner in the room I stayed in was leaking, and the bed was right under the air conditioner

Plenty of delicious food, reasonable prices n nice night lifestyles to go round the clock 👍
But if to compared to other budget hotel around/near to this area, I would reccomend Tune Hotel Georgetown (rate might be few ringgit more than this hotel, but the accomodations is ???)
The room was quite small Shower in bathroom partially malfunction Very limited parking, forced to illegally park at road side
Good value for money. Staff polite and helpful.Clean toilets. Central location.
Nice budget hotel around Georgetown, worth the money

Nice hotel to stay in city area. Has swimming pool, separate ladies and gentlemen jacuzzi, sauna, kids club, fitness
Attended a wedding dinner at the ballroom. Chinese course dinner is very nice. Service is good and staff are courteous and helpful. Wheelchair friendly. Parking lots available both outside and inside the gotel building.
Ample of parking lots at multi storey parking at the back of hotel. Sauna, jacuzzi (hot and cool) and steam room. (Separate for male and female) and children are not allowed to use these facilities
+ Cleanliness is great + Room is huge + Heaps of Complementary drinks + Breakfast is good, worth the price. + Room has good sound proof - hotel is old, my shower had some issue
Two nicely painted tennis courts available. Drink at the freezer is free to consume. TV a bit old and not many channels available. Friendly porter is friendly and helpful
Love the breakfast and where else can you get free apples daily with complimentary mini bar. Location is perfect and gym facilities is great too

The breakfast choices are not much but still able to have full breakfast with nice sea or city view. No swimming pool but my kids were able to enjoy in the bath tub
The hotel location is superb.. it is along the Penang Road that was very easily can find hawkers foods. The hotel provide slipper for those who do not bring to walk around the city. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
Too noisy at night if your room faces the back or Penang bridge view. Cant sleep past past midnight with live band musiccfrom the restaurants
They have everything you need for a hotel room. Big window which you can see city and sea view.
Hotel Malaysia is a well-located hotel in Georgetown, Penang, offering comfortable rooms, modern amenities, and a rooftop restaurant with city views. Ideal for travelers exploring Penang’s heritage sites
Old building look but inside were newly renovated, the same for the room. Overall are not bad, with free parking, 24 hours mart downstair

Thank you AG Hotel, as traveller from non-malaysian, i have fulfilled the expectation with any facilities. Just one suggestion for the owner is adding more television channel 💕 Salam hangat, 🇮🇩
the price is just awesome, I have nothing to complain with this price.
Will definitely recommend this to tourists especially those who are budget-conscious but still want to experience great service
The location is excellent since it’s a short ride away from RECSAM, or Georgetown, or Queensbay, or even from the airport
You get the most from what you paid for with this budget hotel. Memee, were so accommodating and helpful
Free hot and cold water dispenser machine available at the lobby. Have well function water heater for shower, but unable to control the water temperature in the face wash, and toilet. Sound proof quite unsignificant

Booked it randomly on the road and it turned out to be a good steal and great place to stay overnight. They got very comfortable, clean and cozy bed and bathroom in their room
Access to Penang Jetty is very easy and near from this hotel. Very friendly staff ? If you got plans to stay in Butterworth for a day or two; do check it out
Surrounded by Indian restaurants and mini marts selling Indian spices. A few mamak stalls selling tasty chicken/lamb soup and of course famous for their nasi kandar with the locals
The hotels need to be spruced up a bit and cleaned
Had a pleasant stay.....for a night....
The price is cheap. Very close raja uda where you can get a lot of food by car. Recommend to book an non windows facing room as there is a hindu temple next to it and it will rings the bell in early morning.

This was the best stay I've ever had in penang. Joy my first time in this beautiful house, full of history and charm. Our stay was wonderful, the room is spacious, clean and calm
The old house is very beautiful and clean. You can basically walk to the attractions you want to go. The service is warm and the breakfast is also good
Would definitely stay here again. Beautiful building, excellent clean and atmospheric rooms, wonderful amenities
There is a door in the bathroom, and I don’t know where it leads to. What’s more terrible is that the door is unlocked on the other side. It means that the other side can break into the bathroom at any time
We didn’t encounter it during the days we stayed, but I always felt weird 3. We were a group of three and booked a triple room. Check-in was normal, but we were asked to pay an extra fee for 2 people when we checked out
Location is terrific, it’s peaceful and there’s lots of other nice spots to sit and relax outside your room. Staff are friendly, helpful, very accommodating and charming

We loved our stay at the a Vintage house. Cheah runs this guesthouse and she gave us so many recommendations for Penang. She also did our laundry and printed our ferry tickets which was so kind of her
Cheah runs this guesthouse, she is so welcoming and friendly, she will not only make you feel very welcome but she has guided us round this whole area with places to go, things to see, food to try, free buses to catch - ideas and suggestions sent via WhatsApp links
This guesthouse is probably the best we have ever stayed in - and we've stayed in a lot. I absolutely love it, it is well set up, the rooms are beautiful, airy, high ceilings, spacious with air-conditioning and a fan
Stayed here for five nights and was totally blown away. The place is decorated beautifully and is situated in the heart of George town. There's so many amazing bars and restaurants on your doorstep
Our bed was really comfortable and the room really beautiful decorated. The windows were the best we had in Malaysia so far and not paper thin. We also liked having an air conditioning and a fan
Just to add, this guesthouse is in perfect location for exploring everywhere in Georgetown, so many delicious food places within a couple of minutes walking distance, also museums etc

The Coffee Atelier is perfectly located, so you can start exploring the town and enjoy the street food stands in the evening, which are just around the corner
Awesome little hotel with very personal service. Ruby and her sister give it the attention it deserves and take care of all your needs
We enjoyed the best sleeps here. The breakfast at Coffee Atelier is really great and included with the room. Of course fresh squeezed orange juice, barista coffee, fruit, cereal or eggs, toast, yogurt
The king size bed here was great, the pillows were excellent and the air conditioning, as well as ceiling fan were more than enough to keep Canadians cool, even under the most comfortable cozy duvet
The lady’s that run this hotel are the best you’ll ever find. The location in George Town is perfect. Lots of great street food, Indian food and great variety within 5 minutes
The rooms are funky and if you get a ground level room then you get a bonus back courtyard with garden and outdoor facilities. Visit the art gallery which is in the checkin
