Jawi Peranakan Mansion

Beautiful property, small pool fabulous for a dip after hot day of sightseeing.
Location not too far from the main restaurant areas of Georgetown. Easy enough to get a grab to places further than walking distance.
Room and common areas are beautifully decorated.
We really enjoyed our stay here.

Decor was beautifully appointed - stunning refurbished Peranakan houses. Perfect set up in the two storey villa for us and our 4 year old. Loved the pool.

This hotel is so quaint and chic. After staying in SPG hotels the rest of our trip, it was nice a change of pace to stay in a historical Malay home during our stay! Highly recommend the villas :)

Value for money is just okay. For about MYR400 per night, you get a large, charming room in a small charming property. There's a great pool too.

I'd expect more than instant coffee here. Sure, there's a food market 200m away, but good coffee and tea service in the morning is important. The milk at the tea station was lumpy one morning.

The immediate surrounding area consists of a construction site, a junkyard, and more modest housing than this mansion. Mornings were noisy with calls to prayer at 6:30am and digger construction at 7:30am. You get used to it but don't expect peace and quiet.
