Just completed my stay here. It’s clean (thank you to the excellent room staff) with very small but comfy rooms. Great bed. Good desk to work on my laptop. And everyone is nice.
However, when I got lost downtown and called for assistance, the front desk read me a taxi number which didn’t work instead of directing me to a taxi stand or sending a taxi for me. Lost in a new city can be frightening. I reported this to the front desk when I returned, they took notes and said they’d talk with hotel management, but I received no response during the entirety of my stay.
Other notes: room service took 1 hour for an extra glass right after check-in, and a no-show the second evening for a glass of wine.
Would rather spend twice the money with a responsive team that makes me feel safe and cared for.
That said, Selina who works in the first floor restaurant showed the type of professionalism, hospitality experience, attention to detail and personable friendliness the rest of the staff could learn from. She helped make my first trip to Singapore a good one.

I had an excellent 8 days stay at Mercure on Stevens.
I arrived on an early flight and was checked-in super efficiently by Peter whom made sure I could quickly get a nice room to get some rest.
During the stay, housekeeping did a fantastic job and was always greeting me with a warm smile as I was walking out of my door.
Upon check-out everything went smoothly again and the staff made sure I found my taxi back to the airport.
Overall a great stay with great hospitality professionals and great management! Well done!

Checked in was at 2pm, reached around 1.50pm and there was no queue! Service was good, although I could tell the receptionists were new, they worked hard to assist me.
The room was clean, bed was comfortable and I really enjoyed the shows available on the TV! Although I do wish the water was slightly hotter.
Facilities around the hotel were not bad! Visited the gym which had the necessary equipment and enjoyed my session. The toilet inside the gym is also spacious, clean, has shower areas and hairdryer for the ladies!
The breakfast spread was okay, got there early and the food tasted fine as well.
The room was clean, bed was comfortable and I really enjoyed the shows available on the TV! Although I do wish the water was slightly hotter.

A really very nice, quiet and modern hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Special thanks for this wonderful stay goes to Charissa Chiam and her whole team for their tireless and special commitment. Each of my questions was answered promptly and friendly. Thank you again for that. The gym and the two pools also round off the impression. While one pool invites you to linger, the second can be used for real sports activities. The 7/11 in the house is also practical for smaller errands. The extensive breakfast buffet was served in the restaurant and really left nothing to be desired. The restaurant is also very tastefully and modernly furnished. I will gladly and definitely come back.

From the moment I entered the Lobby to drop off my bags before checking in to the last taxi to take me to the airport, it was an amazing experience all around.
Even though there was a disgruntled customer prior to myself, Michelle on the front of house team even noticed my birthday earlier in the week, something that was missed by another reputable hotel. The attention to detail and the courtesy of staff was great. I was acknowledged by name everytime I departed and returned. Michelle provided amazing recommendations and would even follow up on the experiences the following day. To tailor to next recommendation for my liking. As the whole world bounces back with staff and manpower shortages the fact that all off the staff members managed to keep a smile on their faces was welcoming and lovely to see. Great work and thank you to the whole team. They truly made it a wonderful experience
