The hotel is literally just above the Lavender MRT station, so making the travel to the city centre and Changi airport easy. The hotel staff is nice and helpful. The room is a bit small, but still ok. The facilities were not as clean as I would have expected when I arrived at the room. Overall a nice stay.

Excellent customer service by Ms. Cecilia who made it seamless for me and my family to check in. The rooms were clean and we had a really comfortable stay. Jacqueline the hotel manager was kind enough to tell us about the places to visit in Singapore. Overall experience is very good and would recommend to friends!

The room at the end of the corridor is quiet and no noise. The bed is comfortable but I personally like a firmer pillow. If possible, I would like the hotel to have more than one pillow. The room and bathroom are clean and tidy. The toiletries are of good quality and smell good. However, I found a hair in the new towel so I deducted points from this part.

Good location and convenient transportation, easy to explore the city. The room is clean but the main problem was the air-conditioning. It makes a lot of noise and the switch doesn’t work, can’t change the temperature.

DO NOT stay at this place. It smells like sewerage in the rooms and is nothing like described. I’ve wasted over $1000 by booking with this hotel. We stayed for three hours, couldn’t stand the smell and had to leave.

I chose the executive room, and it exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent. The room was well-equipped, even featuring a large bathtub. The hotel provides complimentary bottled mineral water, and you can always ask the front desk for more if you run out. Breakfast was predominantly Western style. I was a bit pressed for time, so I didn't get a chance to check out the gym and pool.

The Carlton Hotel Singapore is amazing. We have suprised the room upgrade and really enjoyed Singapore trip via the hotel service. The in-room dining was also nice. The room is OK but being very small, the humidity was very high on a permanent basis. Lack of ventilation. Nonetheless, the stay was enjoyable. The morning buffet is worth including with the room. The 3 stars for the room is due to the humidity. Besides that, the room was very clean, modern, and comfortable.

Location is great and near to food court or supermarkets. However the toilet wall was a bit moldy , the window blind looked dirty and requires a proper deep cleaning. The entire building also needs to have a better maintenance because it was built 5 years ago (in 2017). Please maintain its cleanliness standard for 4 stars hotel.

Had a hiccup, but the issue was professionally settled. Appreciate the follow up and service recovery effort done by the hotel. The hotel is well located in the heart of the city, the main issue they MUST invest more in house keeping management and staff because most of complaint is about rooms cleaning, excelsior tower in more modern and clean than Peninsula tower.

I booked an Executive Room, and the staff generously upgraded me to a Premier Room—just in time for the National Day Parade’s National Education Show on Saturday! I was thrilled to enjoy the grand fireworks right from my room, making the experience even more special. The ensuite bathroom was equipped with a bidet, adding both convenience and hygiene to my stay. A fantastic stay overall.

The concierge is excellent. Very helpful team. The room is cleaned daily. Very hardworking cleaner too. BUT! The bathroom has a kind of stench that could not be gotten rid off. Large room at reasonable price and location. The bus stop is directly in front of the hotel but the walk way to metro is rather long and at the end of the day we were done from walking. The breakfast is good but can be better if it is served till 10:30. The swimming pool area is relaxing that you can go for shower after checking out too (please ask for the card at the reception).
