Reviews
The room wasn’t even set up completely so staffs had to bring the fruit basket and desserts from our original room to our new room, while they enter our room, they had their outdoor shoes on, which meant the floor was dirty again. We got a call from reception checking if very thing is good, so we gave a suggestion that maybe please take shoes off before entering. The staff claimed that housekeeping would take off their shoes whilst cleaning the room, but some occasions like maintenance for electrical appliances they will have their shoes on, we replied that we totally understand, but since this wasn’t the case, this phone call only made us feel that they were just giving excuses instead of admitting they had unclean shoes stepping on our bedroom floor and carpet. We understand that not all guests would request to have staff take their shoes off while enter the guest’s room, but since we’re Asians and it’s pretty common to do so, and even in other hotels they implement taking shoes off before entering guest rooms, so we were very unhappy about it.
The staff ensured us that our room is very clean before we entered. However, the tub was still dirty with hair in it. It was still the same after housekeeping cleaned the room the next day. And the hose was broken so while I had my clothes on trying to fill the tub with water, the water got all over me. Since it was my last night at the hotel and it was late, I decided not to call reception for another change or maintenance. We did inform reception upon check out, but the first thing that the receptionist asked was: did you inform anyone? Instead of sincere apologies, it was more of a feeling that “since you are leaving that has nothing to do with me anymore.”
Other than the mentioned above, other staffs in were very nice, but I will never be staying here again, with the unpleasant stay here and the outdated rooms and the very inconvenient location, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
Service is excellent. Requested for a yoga mat in the room, and it's there when I checked in :)
Room is spacious, but a little dated. The power points in the room are at odd spots, difficult to reach.
Some renovation work was going on one floor above my room. I was not told about it before my arrival.
The rooms are spacious and meticulously clean.
The hotel is a big property and certainly the highlight is the slide at the pool . The pool has a splash zone for kids less than 2 years which can keep them engaged for very long. The hotel also has kid zone with swings and small open playarea.
We enjoyed a game of table tennis near the gym.
Absolutely recommend this hotel for elderly, kids and vegetarians.
Thank you for the hospitality.
We booked the Horizon Premier King room and it was definitely worth it! The view from the room was beautiful! Housekeeping kept the room very clean throughout our stay.
The Horizon Lounge was also amazing! We were helped by employee Pat, she helped us book tours and made sure that we were prepared for everything. She even made sure we had breakfast prepared before the tours as they started early in the morning, amazing!
The lounge also offered food and snacks throughout the day and it was very nicely presented.
I have nothing bad to say about this hotel! Just wish we had stayed there a little longer. Highly recommend this place!
We had scalp / back / shoulder / foot for total 90 mins each and I received a deep cleansing facial 60 mins from Therapist, May.
The reception lady has pleasant smile, cheerful attitude and I feel so welcome at the Spa.
Ms. May, again, with her skilled techniques, soft but right to spot pressure made me so comfortable and relaxed.
In addition, I wasn’t in good conditions and was not feeling so well on treatment day. I mentioned it to Ms. May and she was so considerate and kind to relieve my pain. I was so touched by her kindness.
I will come again.
