The location is outstanding and almost anything a tourist could want (from day trips to motor bikes to good shopping/outdoor markets to high quality massage treatments to memorable eating) are all within close proximity

I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here, especially if you have a limited time to enjoy your stay in Chiang Mai. I've stayed in a few other hotels in the city, but this one offers (by far) the most convenience

Good location, tasty breakfast with vegetarian options. Well behaved staff. Facilities like indian restaurant, money exchange,7Eleven shop,massage parlor are available just in front of the Hotel.

The rooms are a good size, clean, well-designed, and comfortable. I'd like to add that the laundry service is affordable & fairly quick (no need to carry dirty clothes along on your trip)

The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are above-average (especially for the hotel price)

If you decide to give the place a whirl, I hope enjoy a wonderful stay

Little outside the main city but also away from noise. Beautiful hotel, we even got a free upgrade. Pool is little small but still doable for a quick swim. Shuttle service to night bazaar is a great gesture

The swimming pool is okay, but I have been to better pools at other hotels. They do have a bar at the pool and you can order drinks and some finger foods

Friendly and very helpful lady at IHG check-in, complimentary upgrade, impressive lobby area, huge clean suite with nice view, very comfortable bed, big bathroom with strong water pressure, good breakfast and dinner buffet

A very nice hotel with great staff. Everyone was do friendly and always said good morning or afternoon. The rooms are nice and a nice lounge / bar of the side of the lobby

The hotel is not that far from the airport and a cheap taxi fare to the d part of the city. Would definitely stay at this hotel again if I was back in Chiang Mai

Very few electric points in the room and none around the bed to charge your mobile. Buffet breakfast spread is limited and just about makes the mark. Very courteous staff and always willing to help

A decent hotel for seminar and functions it seems. 15 min from airport without traffic

Near Chiangmai University and the room is rather spacious and decent breakfast if u like Asian cuisine since the hotel is heavy on Chinese tourists. Most importantly the rate is very reasonable !!!

This place is very good and clean. It is not far from town so you can easily go to different places by red bus which going around the town on the daily basis. Recommended this place

Old fashioned but very Thai. A conference hotel with traditional values, furnishings and food. Big rooms and little street noise. Not fancy, not boutique, but solid.

However, Saturday was heaving, staff seemed to struggle with the numbers, we had to wait in a queue and our coffee and drinks order took 20mins to arrive, by that time we had eaten and ready to go

We loved this hotel! From the moment we were picked up at the airport and met Ton we were treated like royalty. Our room was upgraded to a high floor with the Mountain View

We were celebrating our engagement and the staff went above and beyond decorating the room. I’d go back to Chiang Mai just to stay at this hotel and hang with Ton

Great hotel, service, location. Right next to the night bazaar. Very hospitable, from when I entered until I exited. The rooms and amenities were nice. And the breakfast buffet was great too

Would highly recommend and would return. Small comments for management: I tried a few of the cocktails included in the lounge menu, unfortunately none of them were great

We've been here 7x to eat at their different restaurants. service, food, drinks & staff are very personable. A quite cool atmosphere to relax

Old hotel that has seen grand days in the past. The rooms were clean, big and well maintained. Two complimentary bottles of water every day. The food is simple and just okay. Loved the open view from the elevator

Big rooms with excellent showers and a big bath tub. Huge swimming pool and a decent buffet breakfast. Great location if you like bars and restaurants

Quite an old fashioned hotel and looks a bit tired in places. Don't let that put you off though it's full of old fashioned fancy hotel charm. The lobby makes you think of the hotel from The Shining

15 minutes walk to Nimman area, or another direction into the old town, very convenient ! absolutely good value for money. during the covid-19 off season, this huge property is literally empty

It's a star hotel with spacious bedrooms in tourism area in Chiang Mai. Pretty surprised to see the spacious bedroom with a bath tub, a pantry, a washing machine. The swimming pool has a sauna and a whirl pool

Noom and the team gave a really good supportive everything literally everything as you can imagine you can always ask for their support. Food - I’ll leave it as your own preference, all I can say it wasn’t that bad

Firstly, let's talk about the bottom line. This hotel is ideal for families with children who want to stay in a clean and tidy room with a good breakfast and go on day trips during their stay in Chiang Mai

I received an excellent service from Kantary Hills! I once tried to stay elsewhere but always come back to Kantary Hills. Location is nearby airport and convenience to go to local shopping centers

Superb service given by the entire staff and they were so friendly. The rooms were quite comfortable. If you want to cook yourself, each and every room provides the necessary items for cooking

It's important to provide a proper space for cleaning staff to rest. Seeing them sitting in a cramped cleaning room was disheartening. They have the right to a fair and decent space to rest

This hotel was super convenient and location was great. It was near good bars and restaurants. Also we booked excursions from a nearby shop. The pool and included free breakfast was a plus

Lovely hotel well located close the old town food markets and other tourist hotspots. A little old itself but clean and friendly with a very nice breakfast buffet with all the usual Asian and Western favourites on offer

Good location, located near the Sunday night market . Also located near few place of interest like old that phae gate and wat chedi luang. Room a bit old but friendly and helpful staff.

Great location, staff is very friendly and checked us in early in the morning after we arrived on the overnight bus. Big breakfast buffet with lots of options. Rooms are big and clean. The pool is great!

A top hotel with great dining and entertainment. We were looked after in a very friendly manner by all staff, with surprising entertainment during dinner. I give this place 25 stars out of 5.

Buffet lunch and dinner is served in the restaurant but a room service option is also there. There are number of shops just outside the hotel and one can easily find the basic necessities

Cozy and comfort. Although a little bit old but amenities are well-offered. Gyms, Pools, Bars. Nice staffs and bell services. Right next to Central Kad Suan Kaew and right across 12 Huay Kaew

I came to JM because of the reviews, and I agree with them. Terrific massage, great service, and experienced therapists, especially the masseurs.

Really beautiful but kind of old hotel. I still felt exquisite staying here despite the paint peeling from many surfaces. It kind of gave it a certain charm. The Wi-Fi is spotty but does get the job done in a pinch

I shouldn't be worrying about watching TV on holiday, but at the end of the night sometimes that's what makes it feel a little bit like home. All in all , isn't a bad place to start in Chiang Mai

All works the gym the escalators and swimming Pool is good the staff are friendly and if you have a room on the top floor you get a great balcony and suite 👍👍👍great price I 💭 but it won’t be for everyone that’s for sure

Great hotel. Big rooms, comfy beds, huge gym, sauna, pool, bar and a great location. The age of the hotel just adds to the charm for me.

A very good place to stay if yiu are staying in CM for a bit longer. The room are great, comfortable beds, clean. For 21000 bht per month you get cleaning, swimming pool, gym. There is a resyaurant on the side and a cafe

The staff is very attentive, the room is clean, the security system is very good. Breakfast is considered sufficient. If anyone wants to stay for a long time, I recommend it. The room is spacious and just right

Excellent hotel, its staff managed our Thailand Pass file including the one that the other hotel had to manage by calling them to confirm our request

They are incredibly professional! I highly recommend this hotel (french traveller)

Also, the bed and the pillow was very soft. It's like I'm sleep in the cloud ☁️

The location is amazing and the staff is super nice. I give 4 stars because the shower didn’t work properly, the water was too hot and I think the locks make a lot of noise and for a light sleeper it’s a bit of a problem

Serviceminded staff. Location are perfect. It is clean. Rooms are not top modern but works. Breakfast are good. So over all i recomend the hotel.

The swimming pool is also a little old, but great to have this after a day out exploring all the amazing things Chiang Mai has to offer

Location is in the middle of the night market. Plenty of places to eat. Breakfast is great. Rooms are good and clean. Staff is great.

The rooms are quite big and the hotel is decorated nicely. The breakfast has vast variety of food. The only disadvantage was the view from the room which was car parking

Fine hotel but mostly for people who are willing to pay the price. We had 4 nights and nothing to complain about really (besides sand/ in the water the first night)

I lived off that fried rice and toast (waiting for the toast an adventure) with jam. The pool is dirty and there are no chairs to sit anywhere. The location is good close to everything

What a gem. This hotel has definitely seen better days but still a big hotel with comfy beds, big room, nice views, fantastic huge pool and breakfast included for a very cheap price.

Quiet, great service, great price. Five to ten minutes walking distance to downtown plaza. Free healthy breakfast was also wonderful.

It is walking distance to many restaurants and coffee houses. Expect clean beds and warm water but nothing in the way of hair dryers or mints on your pillow. The staff are friendly and helpful but English is limited

Breakfast was included but It's not very good, every day you have wonton soup, fried rice, noodles and vegetables, also watery scrambled or boiled eggs, sausages, toast, watermelon, tea or coffee

Lower your expectations from Western standards. Is is an economy hotel with minimal amenities. The good news it is ideally located in the downtown, tourist area of Chiang Mai

We stayed here for a week during our stay in Chiang Mia. Walking distance into the old town. Great location. Pool area was lovely and we never had a problem getting a sun lounger. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Anantara Chiang Mai This place is so impressive, it feels so welcoming at the very first step we walk in. All staffs are very professional also they look so happy with their job. Always helpful and polite and very kind

Hope there are more options for desserts and Thai food. Also you should make a call for room service. Staffs and their services are on top! More than I expected based on experiences from other 5 stars hotels

Stayed in Kasara Garden Suite for 3 nights during high season. Felt a little lack of privacy because of the characteristics of garden view rooms which surround the one same garden in the center

They willingly help even sometime it is a bit off their way, so impressed by that! The food, restaurant and complimentary afternoon tea are absolutely one of top quality places

Quite surprised when people were just hanging around at the garden. Needless to say room and other facilities' condition was very good. Restaurants and breakfast were fabulous

Good for business trip, but not the place for luxury getaway or relax. The pool is small and no sauna or steam facilities. Rooms are new and clean as of 2020

The location is decent, but unfortunately, my room fell short of expectations. The thin walls allowed me to hear sounds from the neighboring room, including some bathroom noise that persisted throughout the night

Just because they put a pity pool on roof top doesn't make it a novotel unfortunately

clean room with very comfortable bed, rain shower was warm and relaxing. 10 min walk to Maya Mall & Niman area but best to hire a car or rent a bike to make moving around more accessible.

The staff at the reception deserves high praise for their warm welcome and politeness, especially considering the chaos caused by a large Korean group tour checking in

Despite this, I would consider recommending this place to friends due to its affordability in town

Dusit Princess Chiang Mai

Then, the other guests return to their rooms and insist on standing in the corridors to have lengthy and loud conversations - honestly, I have never experienced this at any other hotel we have stayed at

The room was very shabby, although very clean, and the 'view' was of the next door building's rooftop! Only 2 sachets of coffee and 2 sachets of coffee mate were provided

The best thing about Dusit Princess is the location and the main reason I stay here again. The hotel itself is a bit old but the staff is friendly and helpful

No explanation about where breakfast is served or at what time - we had to go hunting for the restaurant which turned out to be on the 1st floor

The rooms are average, nothing special and the bathroom quite small. Buffet breakfast is good though. Overall I would say a good 3 stars hotel

There's a good choice of breakfast and all the staff are lovely and incredibly helpful and these are the reasons I went as high as 3 stars

Drinks and food were great - and happy hour daily is a nice bonus for cocktails! We will definitely come back. We left wishing we had booked our whole stay here

I am from the hotel industry myself and I can vouch this place is wonderful :)! (If I can have the TINIEST remark: I'd switch the lights in the dining room from bright cold white to a warm yellow)

We had an amazing 3 night stay at the chiang mai old town. It was beautiful & quiet - which is just what we needed after coming from three days in busy Bangkok

Didn't get to use the pool but looked great. Very attentive, good pleasure and staff very good at what they do. Breakfast was delicious and pretty extensive. This is a god location in old town

Chiang Mai Old Town Hotel sits perfectly close to the old town of Chiang Mai. Walking distances to stores or restaurants. I like the peace and quiet, which is great for a good night's rest

The services are wonderful, and the staff are respectful and very welcoming. I love the fact that you can use their drop-off laundry service and come back neatly folded. I highly recommend this hotel

The breakfast is various, delicious and almost change the items everyday. The location is really convenience. But surprisingly, you hardly hear the noise from the outside street and aircraft noise

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice, and I’m impressed both times! The service is outstanding—staff members are always friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained

The location is also very convenient, making it easy to travel around. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free stay. Will definitely come back again!

Room for improvement Their activities to be able to accept card payments. We wanted to try their event but only cash payment. We have 7 pax and we didn't expect to pay cash for activities
