We loved this hotel! From the moment we were picked up at the airport and met Ton we were treated like royalty. Our room was upgraded to a high floor with the Mountain View. We were celebrating our engagement and the staff went above and beyond decorating the room. I’d go back to Chiang Mai just to stay at this hotel and hang with Ton.
We've been here 7x to eat at their different restaurants.. All excellent.. service, food, drinks & staff are very personable. A quite cool atmosphere to relax. We live in Chaing Mai so we didn't stay in the hotel but all Marriott's around the world is our Go-To place.
Great hotel, service, location. Right next to the night bazaar. Very hospitable, from when I entered until I exited. The rooms and amenities were nice. And the breakfast buffet was great too. Definitely a 5 star experience.
Recently stayed at the Marriott Hotel in Ching Mai and the overall experience was somewhat disappointing. First, the room was extremely small. Considering the space standards and price in Thailand, the room felt very cramped and there was hardly any space to open our luggage. This might be because the third floor has many conference rooms, which seem to take up most of the space, affecting our accommodation...
This hotel is definitely a 5 star establishment. They newly renovated their lobby and restaurants. The staff is amazing, friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. The rooms are incredible. The pool and fitness facility is top notch. They also have locker rooms and a sauna at the fitness center. The breakfast buffet is worth staying in and relaxing before going out to explore the city. I will always stay...
We had dinner at this Chinese restaurant called Han The at the Marriott. It was an awesome experience! The food was made with care and looked amazing. The flavors were authentic and on point, and the service was top-notch. The staff was super attentive and friendly. We even started the night with some killer cocktails at the bar. Those drinks were not to be missed! I highly recommend getting there...

Overall not recommended. - Saw 2 croaches the first night I stayed at Orchid Hotel. - Lack of cleanliness. Stains on bedsheets and the room smells. - Since it's quite an old hotel, there are unnecessary installments in the room that may hurt the kids. Adults have to keep an eye on the kids constantly. - Dark in the room. Good things about Orchid Hotel: - The outdoor pool is wide and nice. - The location...
A bit old style hotel but clean and functional, The mattress to be improved…
Nice big rooms. Comfortable beds. Kettle but no cups or tea or coffee - it would be nice to add that. Close to the old town and lots of food options close by. Pool was nice. Improve the breakfast - all the food was cold.
One of the older hotels in Chiang Mai but many things still make this a nice hotel to stay in. Location is great. The staff are extremely nice and friendly. Good pool and gym. I stayed in a very clean and comfortable room which was quiet and had a nice view. 10/10 from me :-)
The stay at Chiang Mai Orchid Hotel Huay Kaew was average overall. The cleanliness, location, service, and amenities were all okay but nothing stood out. It’s a decent option for a short stay, but don’t expect anything beyond the basics. Suitable for solo travelers who just need the essentials
This hotel is extremely good value for money. It is full of art, beautiful furniture, and has an ornate feel. Gym and pool are free of charge to use for guests and it has a restaurant and a cafe. Rooms were spacious and well kept and had lots of old/ vintage dark wood furniture. Staff were helpful and friendly and happy to assist with my luggage

The location is great, about five kilometers from the airport, around the ancient city, about one kilometer from Tha Pae Gate, and less than 3 kilometers from Nimman Road. The facilities and equipment are of high quality, the SPA massage technicians are skilled, the breakfast buffet does not have many varieties but the set menus are good, the air conditioning is precise, and in general, I am very satisfied...
We had an amazing 3 night stay at the chiang mai old town. It was beautiful & quiet - which is just what we needed after coming from three days in busy Bangkok. The rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive. We loved the easy ordering via QR code wherever you are located in the hotel. Drinks and food were great - and happy hour daily is a nice...
This was the best hotel of our trip. We booked a deluxe king suite as a bit of a splurge for our wedding anniversary and the staff made it feel extra special. They left cake for us on our room. Beds were so comfortable! Lots of pillow options. The room was spacious and has a lot extra special touches eg good size fridge, plenty of water, plenty of drawers, block out blinds. Gym was good size. Didn...
Chiang Mai Old Town Hotel sits perfectly close to the old town of Chiang Mai. Walking distances to stores or restaurants. I like the peace and quiet, which is great for a good night's rest. The services are wonderful, and the staff are respectful and very welcoming. I love the fact that you can use their drop-off laundry service and come back neatly folded. I highly recommend this hotel. And lastly...
Beautiful hotel in a quieter part of Old Town. The rooms were really well decorated and included all of the amenities you might need. The staff was super friendly and helpful. My experience at this hotel was great. The staff were helpful, and the hotel was very clean. The room was spacious, and the gym was well-equipped and open 24 hours. The only thing I wished for was that an amenity kit was provided. During my last stay, I was having a hard time and ordered food delivery to the hotel. One of the best breakfast buffet in Thailand. Good size gym with well stocked workout equipment, pool, kids pool and play area, rooftop bar and overall great amenities. Location: Melia is situated in the city center, just 2 minutes away from the night market and nearby streets. There are plenty of massage shops surrounding the hotel. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable atmosphere for relaxation. Additionally, the location was perfect for exploring the local attractions, making it easy to enjoy the area. The breakfast is variety of delicious options that catered to all tastes. Exceptional Stay at Ratilanna Resort & Spa – A True Northern Thai Gem! From the moment we arrived at Ratilanna Resort & Spa, we knew we were in for an unforgettable experience. I recently stayed at RatiLanna Riverside Spa Resort in Chiang Mai, and overall, it was a good experience, but there are some areas for improvement, especially for a 5-star hotel. A beautiful hotel which is calming and proud of its Thai culture. Stunning flower and art displays are thoughtfully positioned throughout the hotel. Delicious food and drinks. there is a difference between nationality when we check-in for those who speak in Thai and English which is very frustrating to feel that. Perfect location at Nimmanhemin area, very close to almost everything you need in Chiang Mai. Lovely room with functional facilities. Great air conditioning system. Very nice of gym equipment and also swimming pool. Tasty and various choices of breakfast. Staffs are very friendly.
Love this hotel! Great service, flexible breakfast ordering during the stay, and 24-hour check-in and check-out. The location is excellent, and the hotel offers impressive quality.
Superb location where one nimman just opposite the hotel. Room was spacious, a bit noisy during the night coz of the bar nearby. But overall it was fantastic.
I stayed for a couple of nights and overall had a decent experience. The room was spacious and clean, and the price was great for what you get. The staff were also friendly and helpful. However, I didn’t like the pool or the rooftop — they looked abandoned and had no atmosphere. Also, there was a gap in the window, which let in a lot of noise at night and made it hard to sleep sometimes.
Hotel located at very convenient area. Surround with nice restaurants, markets, spa and coffee shop. But the hotel room can hear airplane passing by and the live band music from outside.

Close to the airport, but still quite quiet. There is also a swimming pool. There is a buffet for breakfast at 100 baht per person. There is also an elevator so you don't have to carry your bags upstairs.
Just ok. Wifi was not working in the room. Localisation not great
The room is average, okay. The bathroom is not very good, not well maintained. The pool schedule opens late and closes early, so we can't use it in the morning. Often, there are classes, so we can't use the pool. Let's just say it's not for hotel customers and we don't need to include the pool issue when booking. But because the room is not expensive and it's okay to stay.
10-15 minutes walk to airport plaza 40-45 minutes walk to the airport. You need to walk beside a busy road so not for the faint hearted. Grab car 146 to airport. Hotel was clean and comfortable, I would stay again.
It's good, it's peaceful, but it's a bit difficult if you're a smoker. Everything else is okay.
The accommodation is comfortable, close to the city, very suitable for relaxation. There are 2 pillows in the room. There is also a pool and sauna.

The room is nice and has personality
The hotel is in a very good location. The service is 8/10. In the evening, there are not many staff at the counter. Some days you have to wait. The hotel is a bit old-fashioned. Hair salon, 7-11, coffee shop, massage shop, restaurant. You can walk...
Great location Easily walkable to old city, night markets, shopping, nightlife, aand temples
The location is 500 meters from the ancient city. The hotel room is OK. The swimming pool has not been cleaned for a long time and there is no special maintenance.
I made a reservation for a business trip just after the floods in Chiang Mai. The breakfast menu is the same every day, but they are open from 6:30am, which was nice. The shower turned cold quickly even though the hot water came out. It was bearable since it was still hot, but I think a cold shower would be impossible in the dry season. It would have been nice if there were slippers in the room.
Very close to the Night Bazar.. It took us aroud 10 minutes walking to get to the Bazar. Along the way thers is a halal restaurant for this who are looking for halal food.

Dirty swimming pool, we got a room with access to pool right outside the room but the water is so dirty you don’t want to attempt trying to go in. Lots of construction, start from 9am in the morning so u can’t really enjoy the villa at all. Very noisy shower head too, hot water not hot. I would not recommend this hotel.

The rooms are really nice, and breakfast is good. It's a 7-minute walk to the market. The walk to the market is not convenient—it's dark, and the sidewalks are in poor condition. A tuk-tuk is preferable. Not sure how good the location is. The beds are hard. The hotel service and staff are very friendly.

Fantastic hotel with comfortable rooms, large beds, and a small pool at a great location. Loved the silent elevators, the artistic (copied) paintings on the walls, and the rich breakfast.
A good quality hotel, clean, spacious rooms and good breakfast. The pool is a bit small. Stayed there for 4 nights in July 24.
Nice hotel right in the center and everything within easy reach. Swimming pool on the second floor is small but beautiful! Beds are wonderful to sleep on. The gym is small. I would definitely come here again.
We're on a girl's trip with 4 women, and we booked a suite, not realizing that one bedroom has the living room in it. If known, we would have picked a different suite or hotel. The hotel is self is nice. The pool is small but cute. The breakfast is good. Overall it's nice and we like the location.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel especially because of the location. It’s on a side street which is quiet, but within walking distance of the centre and night market. The shower room tile feels cheap and drain is uncomfortably loud. Staff are great and try their best to accommodate. Convenient location to explore the city. Breakfast tastes bland and choices are lacking.
