The location is outstanding and almost anything a tourist could want (from day trips to motor bikes to good shopping/outdoor markets to high quality massage treatments to memorable eating) are all within close proximity

I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here, especially if you have a limited time to enjoy your stay in Chiang Mai. I've stayed in a few other hotels in the city, but this one offers (by far) the most convenience

Good location, tasty breakfast with vegetarian options. Well behaved staff. Facilities like indian restaurant, money exchange,7Eleven shop,massage parlor are available just in front of the Hotel.

The rooms are a good size, clean, well-designed, and comfortable. I'd like to add that the laundry service is affordable & fairly quick (no need to carry dirty clothes along on your trip)

The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are above-average (especially for the hotel price)

If you decide to give the place a whirl, I hope enjoy a wonderful stay

Great suite, huge bath with fantastic views. Loved the welcome treats and tiny toy elephant. Close to all the markets and temples, we pretty much walked everywhere. Staff are very welcoming and friendly

We loved this hotel! From the moment we were picked up at the airport and met Ton we were treated like royalty. Our room was upgraded to a high floor with the Mountain View

We were celebrating our engagement and the staff went above and beyond decorating the room. I’d go back to Chiang Mai just to stay at this hotel and hang with Ton

Great hotel, service, location. Right next to the night bazaar. Very hospitable, from when I entered until I exited. The rooms and amenities were nice. And the breakfast buffet was great too

However, Saturday was heaving, staff seemed to struggle with the numbers, we had to wait in a queue and our coffee and drinks order took 20mins to arrive, by that time we had eaten and ready to go

We've been here 7x to eat at their different restaurants. service, food, drinks & staff are very personable. A quite cool atmosphere to relax

Old hotel that has seen grand days in the past. The rooms were clean, big and well maintained. Two complimentary bottles of water every day. The food is simple and just okay. Loved the open view from the elevator

Quite an old fashioned hotel and looks a bit tired in places. Don't let that put you off though it's full of old fashioned fancy hotel charm. The lobby makes you think of the hotel from The Shining

Big rooms with excellent showers and a big bath tub. Huge swimming pool and a decent buffet breakfast. Great location if you like bars and restaurants

15 minutes walk to Nimman area, or another direction into the old town, very convenient ! absolutely good value for money. during the covid-19 off season, this huge property is literally empty

Cozy and comfort. Although a little bit old but amenities are well-offered. Gyms, Pools, Bars. Nice staffs and bell services. Right next to Central Kad Suan Kaew and right across 12 Huay Kaew

I came to JM because of the reviews, and I agree with them. Terrific massage, great service, and experienced therapists, especially the masseurs.

Really beautiful but kind of old hotel. I still felt exquisite staying here despite the paint peeling from many surfaces. It kind of gave it a certain charm. The Wi-Fi is spotty but does get the job done in a pinch

All works the gym the escalators and swimming Pool is good the staff are friendly and if you have a room on the top floor you get a great balcony and suite 👍👍👍great price I 💭 but it won’t be for everyone that’s for sure

I love this place I could imagine when it was built in the 80s. It was a fine five star hotel. Nothing has been done to the rooms of the hotel could say it needs renovation the beds and room are always clean

Everyone was very friendly and the cost of accommodation was very reasonable. It just really needs a revamp or a fresh lick of paint (or 8). Would recommend their signature cocktail, "Thai Sabai"

Great place to stay, the daily breakfast is great. Starting to notice west and tear around the place that makes it look a bit aged. Staff are very helpful and friendly and have good English.

This hotel was super convenient and location was great. It was near good bars and restaurants. Also we booked excursions from a nearby shop. The pool and included free breakfast was a plus

The staff was friendly and accommodating. We got a free upgrade for the room

Lovely hotel well located close the old town food markets and other tourist hotspots. A little old itself but clean and friendly with a very nice breakfast buffet with all the usual Asian and Western favourites on offer

Good location, located near the Sunday night market . Also located near few place of interest like old that phae gate and wat chedi luang. Room a bit old but friendly and helpful staff.

Very clean hotel and nice central location. However very loud if your room is near the road. Rooms fairly decent but bathroom is a bit dated

Serviceminded staff. Location are perfect. It is clean. Rooms are not top modern but works. Breakfast are good. So over all i recomend the hotel.

Location is in the middle of the night market. Plenty of places to eat. Breakfast is great. Rooms are good and clean. Staff is great.

The rooms are quite big and the hotel is decorated nicely. The breakfast has vast variety of food. The only disadvantage was the view from the room which was car parking

Fine hotel but mostly for people who are willing to pay the price. We had 4 nights and nothing to complain about really (besides sand/ in the water the first night)

Great location in the heart of the Night Bazaar, with easy access to everything in Chiang Mai. This is a rather tired hotel but still of a good standard

Dusit Princess Chiang Mai

Then, the other guests return to their rooms and insist on standing in the corridors to have lengthy and loud conversations - honestly, I have never experienced this at any other hotel we have stayed at

The room was very shabby, although very clean, and the 'view' was of the next door building's rooftop! Only 2 sachets of coffee and 2 sachets of coffee mate were provided

The best thing about Dusit Princess is the location and the main reason I stay here again. The hotel itself is a bit old but the staff is friendly and helpful

No explanation about where breakfast is served or at what time - we had to go hunting for the restaurant which turned out to be on the 1st floor

The rooms are average, nothing special and the bathroom quite small. Buffet breakfast is good though. Overall I would say a good 3 stars hotel

There's a good choice of breakfast and all the staff are lovely and incredibly helpful and these are the reasons I went as high as 3 stars

The Chiang Mai Old Town

Drinks and food were great - and happy hour daily is a nice bonus for cocktails! We will definitely come back. We left wishing we had booked our whole stay here

I am from the hotel industry myself and I can vouch this place is wonderful :)! (If I can have the TINIEST remark: I'd switch the lights in the dining room from bright cold white to a warm yellow)

We had an amazing 3 night stay at the chiang mai old town. It was beautiful & quiet - which is just what we needed after coming from three days in busy Bangkok

What a beautiful hotel and amazing stay here! As a family of three, we loved our little break here at the Old Town hotel. The staff really went out of their way to look after us and attend to all our needs

The rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive. We loved the easy ordering via QR code wherever you are located in the hotel

Due to flood in city, only stayed 1 night. Was told by front desk manager, they would issue refund through Expedia, so I could move to non flooded hotel. I’ve now been given partial refund, month and half

As soon as you enter, the hotel is spotless and gives a warm and refreshing sensation. These rooms are not only comfortable but well planned in a way that combines modern facilities with a homely feel

One person who deserves special mention is Khun View, the cleaner who does much more than what one would expect in ensuring all the small things are handled

Attention to cleanliness and detail on her part helps to improve general visitors’ experience thereby making their stay very enjoyable indeed

The hotel is in the heart of things with the Night Bizarre at your doorstep and many, many food places meters away

Quiet little village in a small alley, the center of the old town. The village has very beautiful Lanna architecture, lots of corners to relax and take photos. The swimming pool is small enough for the children to play

The in-room coffee machine was a nice touch. All amenities were good and nicely provided. What I especially like about this hotel is their complimentary mini massage offered at the lobby - such a nice touch

To note further, the staff here were incredibly accommodating. The team went out of the way to prepare us each a box of fruits and sandwiches when we had an appointment for a trip very early in the morning

The staff were very attentive and helpful. The free daily afternoon tea was delicious, and the free neck/shoulder massages were amazing too. This was perfect for the few days break that we needed

Selected this lovely hotel based on my feelings from their advertised images and descriptions - and the experience did not disappoint. My room was spacious and nicely appointed

This is a true kudos! Location is as nice as it can be, peacefully nestled within the old town - close walk to the infamous Wat Phra Singh (which the hotel is named after)

All Staff are friendly and helpful. Room is clean n bright. Service is good. Food is reasonable and nice. The singing band in the restaurant is very entertaining. Overall, it is very pleasant staying in the hotel.

Wow, what a hotel. Had a lovely stay. The staff could not do enough for you. The room was nice and big and clean and stylish. Excellent location for the town. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is perfect for culture buffs and adventure seekers, with easy access to hundreds of temples and spectacular zip lines in the surrounding forest. Chiang Mai events can be hosted in the ballroom

Situated in the heart of Chiang Mai, a few steps from the famous Night Bazaar and close to the Ping River, the hotel's contemporary interior complements its traditional Thai Lanna architecture

I was in old building. The table has ants and room's smell not good. Carpet is dirty. Bathroom not have shelves to put soap and shampoo. But bed and pillow are good. Location is superb.

Good shopping centre across the road, Maya, with 2 good food courts. Hotel is close to the city centre and there are some interesting walks with good bars and restaurants close by

you could see that the hotel is not in its best era but the overall hotel atmosphere is great. spacey room, comfy large beds. clean surroundings and located near the city center

Hotel is ageing a bit but has a lot of character. Rooftop bar has got tremendous views. Clean and quiet, but with some renovations happening there is a little noise from time to time but not enough to bother

the breakfast was not so good but compared to the price, this is a lot more than i paid for

Your Front Desk has upgraded us to Deluxe, and guided us accordingly to our inquiries, the restaurant has good services and food, the rooms are well prepared and cleansed with good air-conditioning

Room was huge in comparison to other hotels and very nice. Bed was comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful especially when arranging transport for sightseeing. Booked online and got a very good rate

The staff is service, very good breakfast, variety, good quality, comfortable bed, not too soft and not hard, nice bathroom, strong water, affordable price, very good value for money. All the staff have good service

Breakfast is delicious — definitely a highlight at this place. The pool area is very nice and well maintained by staff. The only drawback is that WiFi barely works in rooms; it’s good I in common areas though

Very nice place, nice atmosphere, tasty food, lots to choose from.. nice room, clean, cozy. Will come back to stay here again if we go to Chiang Mai..

The Pacific Cool Chic

Comfortable, surprisingly big, room. The furniture a bit 'well worn' but served its purpose. Friendly, helpful staff. A good position for getting to both the old town and Nimman - and for exploring Santitham.

The only 2 downsides were we found the WiFi to not be that great, fine if you've got a hotspot to use. And the beds are very firm, so we bought a mattress topper for ours

Good spot if you want to discover more than just the old city of Chiang Mai. Good facilities for what you pay. We payed roughly 22 AUD a night for 3 nights.

We recently stayed here for a month. The staff are brilliant, so so helpful and kind. Accommodation is very good value

If you're looking for quiet accommodation just outside of the old town, this could be a great option for you

+ Reasonable price for location and room size + Parking lots are very convenient + Quiet and privacy + Balcony - Room quite bit old - Rest room has no air evacuationer - Air Conditioner seem to be placed wrong position of the room

The corridors are full of stuff like towels and bed sheets, and it’s constantly there. Don’t get me wrong—I can accept these conditions, but the price should reflect them. Lowering it from 1000 to 500–600 would be fair

Great location, on edge of old town. Pool always clean, not busy. Staff lovely, lots of food and bar options nearby. Somd renovations to common areas ongoing, rooms clean buf smallish and dated. Would stay here again.

It’s an okay hotel, but not worth the price they charge. There are plenty of hotels offering better quality for the same price. The towels were torn and stained, and the bed sheets had stains too

(Recommend to go there cause its really chill and cute) Coffee and tea are also provided in the common area. Staff is ok and nice ! There is also a jazz bar next door for chill evening

The pool area is nice, though Keep in mind it can be noisy We’ve got the room on the other side from jazz cafe and we were fine. But being on that side would change the story

Very pleasant and beautiful hotel in the middle of the old city. Rooms are comfortable and quiet, and tastefully decorated in traditional Thai style. Beds and pillows are very comfortable too

We were here for five nights and loved it here! Staff are very friendly! The front desk young boy is very kind and super-helpful. Excellent location for food, shops, night markets, massages

Also helped us with clothing we forgot in room at check-out and sent us a grab to the airport! Beautiful refreshing pool good to soak after a hot walk through the city

Coffee is a bit weak but award winning Ahka Ama coffee is directly across the street. Incredible value, will stay again if return to Chiang Mai

There's also a resident singer who sings a wide repertoire of songs every night (I think). Breakfast is very reasonable considering the price

Definitely will stay here again

I loved this hotel, it has such a relaxing atmosphere, beautiful rooms, and friendly staff. It is very small but has a gym and a pool, and free snacks and water. The cleaning was excellent too
