U-Sa Family Hotel
Chiang Mai, 99/1-8 Mahidol Rd., Padad, Muang Chiang Mai 🧭 Map
Look old building but near Chiangmai international airport, you can park your car here and then go to the airport with one night paid.
Cheap and clean room. And this hotel has morning bufe that a lot of Asian foods! We can choose no spicy someones or spicy other ones. But it's better you can speak Thai little.

Royal Lanna Hotel
Chiang Mai, 119 Loikroh Road, T.Changklan, A.Muang, Night Bazaar Road 🧭 Map
The rooms are quite big and the hotel is decorated nicely. The breakfast has vast variety of food. The only disadvantage was the view from the room which was car parking... It is right where the market is which is great! Just go outside and you are in the heart if the market and restauranta
Serviceminded staff. Location are perfect. It is clean. Rooms are not top modern but works. Breakfast are good. So over all i recomend the hotel.
Fine hotel but mostly for people who are willing to pay the price. We had 4 nights and nothing to complain about really (besides sand/ in the water the first night). Got upgraded to a suite and the staff was kind, helpful and always smiling. We however find the price too high so we will not necessarily return
Great location in the heart of the Night Bazaar, with easy access to everything in Chiang Mai. This is a rather tired hotel but still of a good standard. Communal spaces are well kept, but the rooms really need renovating. Staff are professional and polite, breakfast is very good with Asian and Western food available. The swimming pool is also a little old, but great to have this after a day out exploring...
Very clean hotel and nice central location. However very loud if your room is near the road. Staff are great. Rooms fairly decent but bathroom is a bit dated. If using as a base to go exploring like we did then it's great as night market is right out side.
Great place. Close to the night markets. Clean rooms with all the amenities you would expect. Polite and helpful staff. Good choice at breakfast.

Chiang Mai, 33/11 Charoenprated Road, T. Changklan, A. Muang 🧭 Map
The hotel is very, very old and has never been maintained or upgraded in any way. Check-in personnel are not the most charming. Our room had a strong humidity/unpleasant odour, a good thing the windows open and we could ventilate. The room was spacious and had a large fridge with 2 free glass water bottles that are replaced by housekeeping every day. Breakfast was included but It's not very good, every...
What a gem. This hotel has definitely seen better days but still a big hotel with comfy beds, big room, nice views, fantastic huge pool and breakfast included for a very cheap price.
Quiet, great service, great price. Five to ten minutes walking distance to downtown plaza. Free healthy breakfast was also wonderful.
Lower your expectations from Western standards. Is is an economy hotel with minimal amenities. The good news it is ideally located in the downtown, tourist area of Chiang Mai. It is walking distance to many restaurants and coffee houses. Expect clean beds and warm water but nothing in the way of hair dryers or mints on your pillow. The staff are friendly and helpful but English is limited.

This hotel, like so many in this city, is a few years past its prime. It looks like they are trying to keep it up, with colorful paint and designs, but its old and fading fast. The price is cheap for a standard room, but you will get what you pay for. Not dirty, but not super clean. The room was large, but basically empty. There were two padded chairs and a low table, but no desk for working. No safe...
Comfortable, surprisingly big, room. The furniture a bit 'well worn' but served its purpose. Friendly, helpful staff. A good position for getting to both the old town and Nimman - and for exploring Santitham.
We recently stayed here for a month. The staff are brilliant, so so helpful and kind. Accommodation is very good value. The only 2 downsides were we found the WiFi to not be that great, fine if you've got a hotspot to use. And the beds are very firm, so we bought a mattress topper for ours. If you're looking for quiet accommodation just outside of the old town, this could be a great option for you
Old but gold. Could be improved a bit...unless that it's a good hotel, clean, good attention and roomservice. If you want more tranquility make sure to take a room to the other side of the main road, from there you have a nice view.
+ Reasonable price for location and room size + Parking lots are very convenient + Quiet and privacy + Balcony - Room quite bit old - Rest room has no air evacuationer - Air Conditioner seem to be placed wrong position of the room
Rooms are a bit old fashioned and price is a bit high for what you get in my opinion. A bit too far out of town. Staff were very friendly though!

Beautiful spaces. I appreciated their attempts to be environmental (no plastic bottles). They don't have laundry by the kilo, only individual shirts being pressed. So that was really annoying for us, our dirty laundry piled up and we had to go through a lot of inconvenience to get cleaned.
They have this lunch buffet that is worth checking out. 150b and popular with the Chinese prc tourists. Each time I visit the whole place is filled with them. And the Chinese know their food so it must be some kind of special. This hotel is also popular with Singapore and and Malaysians probably because it's a short walk to Maya Mall and slightly off the main road. Hotel staff seems friendly and the...
Room is small but environment is good covering by the beautiful garden. Food option at breakfast line is not much but sufficient for a meal. Parking lot is a plus for those who drive, it is quite big.
We stayed here for six nights and had a very pleasant stay. The gardens and fish ponds are so beautiful. There is a swimming pool but the pool is not suitable for small children. The pool is too deep in the shallow end for children. Also the ladder giving entry into the pool is into very deep water. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff very efficient. The rooms were clean. Our room 13...
We were happy that we stayed here for our recent trip to Chiang Mai. We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and enjoyed everything they have to offer from breakfast buffet to free WiFi and beautiful garden. We stayed on the third floor of the garden wing building which has no elevator, so walking up after a long day was no fun. But for less than 1000 Baht a night breakfast included, this was an excellent...

Rooms are quite spacious Services very good Very near to night safari and good restaurant near by Worth for every penny
All was excellent, the staff, cleanliness, decors, pool, comfort. Reception desk staff was very professional and helping. A red sofa in lobby was a piece of heaven..
The room was decent, but for the price in CM, it should have blown me away. No real personality to speak of, and breakfast was average. If I had paid half the price,I’d have thought it a decent deal.
A nice hotel centrally located within easy reach of shopping centres and a plethora of eateries or drinking places. Service was courteous and effective. We had three rooms during this visit for our party. No complaints whatsoever on the facilities or cleanliness. Buffet breakfast is a substantial all you can eat affair. The hotel does get crowded with large parties of coach travellers, which can...
Great place to stay but found the room door doesn't lock when going out if you hold the handle in the open position for more that 5 seconds. I feel this is a serious security issue and there needs to be a notice in the room to check the room is locked when leaving it. . Other gripe is its impossible to get warm or hot fried eggs at breakfast time.
The rooms are quite spacious and nicely designed. The hotel has a good view at the lift lobby of the first building. Shower in the room was quite unpleasant with water temperature varying from warm to cold all the time.

Beautiful clean rooms. Staff super friendly and welcoming. Only thing missing is a small on site restuarant, although there are plenty eating places within walking distance.
We stayed at the Inspire House Hotel for one month, it was quite cheap we only paid 190 euro's for a month excluded electricity and water. We changed room because the first one was attacked by ants that came from the ceiling, in the second room the bathroom smelled like a sewer most of the time. Overall our stay was nice because the location was convenient to us and we were on a budget. It could...
It was clean and quite but hope for a more modern room, the one they provide is basic, clean, and stayable

Staff went above and beyond. They were fabulous. Comfy bed. The bathroom was a bit dingy. But i loved my stay.
Was given 5star before renovating, which is return to old building and rooms, but still come back4th times
stayed here a couple times; the guesthouse is ok; tiny pool, good parking; good breakfast, staff ok; rooms fine, not much around this area tho to walk to
Good place when hou have your own transport. Nice rooms, good price not fancy but clean and comfortable. Big parking and nice breakfast. English is spoken at the lobby.
Friendly staff. Very nice and clean rooms. Good price and quality. Nice and quite surroundings. Simple breakfast. Far from city center.
Really helpful staff, one younger girl helped us with so much. Rooms could have been a little bit cleaner with the carpets but we didn't spend much on this hotel so it didn't bother us Wouldnt recommend staying here if you want to be close to the centre of chiang mai as it's a little out of the way. Really good service overall

For the price it was comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and the shower was more than adequate. The deluxe room includes a sitting room with a TV and fridge. An extra nice feature was the special folding of the towels on the bed.

1st time to Somwang but a favourite of my relatives. Situated at a quiet lane but it is only 5mins walk to Tha Pae gate! Rooms are very clean. There is a pool but it was super cold when I swam in it in Dec. Haha! Bfast is a good spread. A few convenience stores, pharmacies, massage parlors, eateries, all within short walking distance. A good place to stay when in Chiang Mai old city!
I had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The pool was lovely, the room was clean and breakfast was delicious! They even held my bags for me all day after I checked out
Friendly staff. Super quiet hotel. Great location. The family room is quite large, and 'king size' beds are American -size 'king.' There are two free/community clothes washers on the third floor, which is an incredible amenity to have Breakfast in the morning is quite diverse with a decent selection even if you are vegetarian or vwgan. Each pot of coffee is made from freshly ground beans, and...
I had a truly wonderful stay at the Somwang Boutique Hotel. The courtyard was peaceful and charming. The staff was exceptional in providing good service. The location was perfect for adventuring out each morning. Laundry facilities were on site. We had a fabulous stay here. The place was charming, clean and the staff were extremely accommodating. Would recommend. As vegans, they do offer a hot breakfast - usually consisting of hot noodles - but do make a point of requesting it each day before as they will only make it on specific request. Once informed, the lovely staff went out of their way to accommodate. Rooms were clean, if small and...
A Great Hotel! A Very friendly and professional staff. Clean rooms and a fabulous pool. VERY quiet and close to everything important. Breakfast was Great too. Absolutely the best value for money. Stayed there for six nights and I will stay there in the future. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Fantastic place for cyclists with own bicycle.Hotel allow bikes to be kept in your room👍🏼😃.Easy excess to town and there’s a 7-11 outlet just outside the hotel at the main road.
This place is excellent value and the staff are very good. Sure the rooms are dated but that didn't bother me and they're certainly large. They don't have the system that turns off the power when you leave the room so you can leave things charging when you go out. I accidentally left a couple of items behind and they were great about posting them on to me. Great Thai hospitality and highly recommended...
Ideal location near old town, friendly and efficient staff, and excellent value for a reasonable price There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby of all price range.
Old hotel, big room, just ok on cleanliness and most things in the room are old - bathroom, TV etc. Great price, good location, can find plenty of eat outs 10 mins walk towards right, through the fountains!
Like this hotel, very quiet, clean, good size room, bed is comfortable and bathroom is big. Location is ok, walk few minutes to eating areas and bars. Overall it’s a good place to stay. Price is reasonable. Will stay again.
A very good price for the quality. Staff need to be more concern by the customers. The big problem is that if you arrive the morning even they have room available they ask you to wait until 2 pm. This is not respectful and stupid. Make reservation true the internet by google it, you will get a better price.

Very affordable price, Good location, and nice reception However inside my room is pretty aged. The mattress is way too hard and I do not like the floor which cover with mat. The curtain also thin, the light still come. Facilities are standard.
Conveniently locate, plenty of parking space and friendly staffs. The mattress is super firm. Superior room is a little smaller than expected.
A decent place to stay in Chiang Mai that is centrally located, and in the Nimman district. Within walking distance to a lot of unique cafés, coffee shops and malls. Reasonably priced too. If your breakfast isn't included in your package, purchasing it separately is quite expensive and you can find better value at nearby cafés.
