Bay Beach Resort in Choengmon

The staffs were very nice and rooms were clean. And can’t forget about the location, right on the beach not even 1 min walk 🥰

We had such a fantastic stay at Bay Beach Resort in Koh Samui! The staff were absolutely amazing — so kind and attentive. They even went out of their way to sew my broken bag, which really showed how much they care about their guests.

The beach right in front of the resort is breathtaking — soft sand, clear water, and a really relaxed, friendly vibe. It’s the perfect place to unwind, swim, and enjoy the beautiful views, as well take part in water sports.

The whole atmosphere of the resort is calm and welcoming, and it’s clear the team takes great pride in making every stay special. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Koh Samui — we’ll definitely be back!

Perfectly situated at the beach there are different room types. We had the pool view and enjoyed it.
The rooms are a bit outdated, but still ok - worth the price.

We originally planned to stay two nights but ended up staying SIX days because we loved it. Rooms are spacious and the owner + all the staff is super lovely! Especially on the hot days you just don’t wanna leave the large pool

The location is great if you are only interested in a beach holiday. BUT, I didn't like the beach: because of the silt at the bottom, the water is muddy, low tides in the morning (were in mid-June), very shallow, the water is hot. If someone wants to snorkel, then this beach is not for you. Sun loungers on the beach are free for guests of this hotel. The beach is sandy.
You need to take a taxi to the shopping center (300 baht one way). There are cafes and grocery stores nearby. But it's boring one evening.
The room really did smell of mold upon check-in. But after opening the window and turning on the air conditioner, the smell disappeared. But there was a slight smell of sewage either from the sink or from the toilet. The pressure in the shower is good, the water is hot. But in general, the room is clean, the bed linen and towels are clean. There is a refrigerator, kettle, safe. I took a hair dryer at the reception.
The balcony is large, chairs, table, dryer.
The territory is beautiful, well-groomed. In general, for this price, the hotel is ok! But we left after the first day only because of the beach!

Good place

This resort is well positioned for beach and amenities on the main street. We stayed in one of the bungalows which are basic but clean and spacious with a massive bathroom and a nice terrace at the front. The swimming pool is huge and mostly empty. The gardens are well tended. The only disappointment was the bar/restaurant - not only was it very expensive for the location it really needed a fresh coat of paint and general spruce up. There were plenty of sun loungers, but again, a re-fresh is necessary. Overall good value for money, pleasant staff, would recommend.
