This resort is very peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle. Grabs are more expensive on this island, but for THB400, you could go most places from this resort. The resort is not recommended for people with any walking disabilities, as there are numerous stairs and hilly roads. The staff were terrific, and the type of resort is exactly what we needed.

Our family vacation at Garrya Tongsai was excellent. The staff was very helpful and the service was amazing. Breakfast was very delicious and rich. The kids club made our child very happy. The pools were clean and not crowded, though a smoother floor could be better. Notwithstanding the beach and the seaside could be improved with weeds removed and thinner sand laid.

Beautiful property with such a warm welcome stay. Staff in all sections are super nice and thoughtful. The main downsize of this is this hotel is the level tropical bugs. During my 3 nights stay i did not get a deep sleep i woke up since 5am because of the tropical bugs sound veryvery loud. If possible i think the hotel can try to find better ways to keep those noise out of the room.

I was so thankful I found this place during rainy season. I rented hut 108 and it was the best solution. Simple but very comfortable room with AC, a private bathroom and a fridge in front of the beach. They have a Bar serving a good coffee but very mediocre food unfortunately; best is to rent a car and go out to eat. The internet was decent as well, strong enough to make a video call.

Beautiful peaceful location. Hotel is on beach front and provides day beds on the beach for free. Large clean rooms with great A/C. Staff we’re extremely helpful and friendly, allowed us to check in early as we had an early flight and helped us with transportation to port on check out. Nice cozy resort from the older times. Pool is fabulous. Resort is just on the choeng mon beach, position is amazing. Whole place and rooms are quite run down, elevator is not working, terrace doors are not closing, security boxes removed etc etc many things need renovation and fix. Manager is doing her best and is always helpful. Restaurant is probably better to skip, there are much better around...

Property is a little older. Staff is excellent and rooms are big and comfortable. I would stay here again.

Very good hotel. WiFi was free. Breakfast was eggs, vegetables, fruits. There is a stairs to the beach. Great pool.

The place is perfect for cozy gateway. Away from world.specially romantic.

The hotel staff are super nice, the rooms are affordable and comparable to other hotels in the area but much nicer. I had such a wonderful time! There's also a massage place on the beach - the one closest to the hotel - and the lady is really lovely.

Great breakfast. Good service. A hotel needs some renovation... but it doesn’t make any inconveniences... Wonderful panoramic view from the breakfast zone, nice villas with private pool.

We had a good experience at Samui Boat Lagoon. The room was very nice, but with minor reservations, like the water pressure and temperature in the shower wasn’t great, and the bed was exceptionally hard even by Thai standards 😅The staff was incredibly sweet and helpful, and when I asked for an extra mattress for the bed they got one straight away. Very nice place. clean and perfect location. Just 1 minute walk to the beach. No disappointment for chosen this place. I will be back again ^_^

Overall, accommodation is perfectly, cozy and feels like home. The staff are very service-minded. The location might be a bit far from tourist attractions, but it's highly recommended for a relaxing vibe.

The villas are spacious and comfortable. Will fit an average family. There is a separate kitchen area which is nice. The private pool is cool. Breakfast should be ordered in advance. The laundry service is for the next day and is good. The main downside is the location which is not great. Not much within walking distance and the beach here not so great. It is very good if you want your peace and quiet
