May House Beach

Recommend to stay in May House.
Got a free upgrade from queen bed room to a king. The room is clean, hot water shower, free WiFi, free drinking bottle water, daily housekeeping, and easy to flag down local bus to city, as simple as cross over the road and wait. The food can order from below and they will send up to your room.

Great location and super friendly staff. Ten minutes walk away from the beach and main strip of bars and restaurants, but plenty of eateries nearby to. Rooms were spacious, clean and restocked with water and consumables each day. The only slight negative was the noise if you have a room facing the main road. The traffic can be quite noisy so earplugs are a must.
We opted to eat at the restaurant located at the hotel one evening and got free cocktails from the owner, an unexpected bonus!

Budget friendly place to stay. Location good. Staff is very friendly. Clean rooms with everything you need in this hotel category. Recommended! :)

I enjoyed staying at May House Karon. The location was ideal for me. Next door to other restaurants, coffee shop literally 10 steps away from the hotel entrance, 7 eleven was nearby, and a 15 mins walk to Karon beach. Staff is friendly and even though I didn’t need to have my room cleaned every day, they still provided water bottles and toilet paper. Room looks just like the pictures and I had a great view from the balcony. Thank you for a great stay May House!

We stayed at May House last December and the experience was amazing. We couldn't get over how friendly and lovely the staff was.
They served such a tasty food that we ate there almost every night.
Rooms are cosy, big enough with everything you need and you get a balcony which is a big plus.
Hotel is 10 mins walk from the beach so you don't get all the noice from the beach clubs and people. One thing not many of tourists consider is that the hotel is beyond tsunami evacuation point which helped my girlfriend stay calm at night :⁠-⁠)
There are two motorcycle rental places and a few great breakfast places within 2 minute walk.
10/10 would recommend and we would definitely go back.

I found this place accidentally. I'd like to thank May and all her family for such a warm meeting and care! I booked a room pretty late, so I expected to wait more before checking in. Surprisingly they picked us up 5 min after the booking was done. Very efficient and organized. They helped us with bags as well. All of them, driver, receptionist, waiters (they also own a small restaurant downstairs) were very nice and helpful.

And about the room. It was clean and tidy. There was everything you need (basic staff). Nothing fancy but really nice. My parents were happy with a stay here.

Really good Hotel. It has very spacious rooms with a balcony. Rooms are very clean and they are clean daily and also towels are change every day. It has also a restaurant downstairs that serves very good food and for a very a very reasonable price. The place its really good also taking into consideration the cost of the rooms. The only 'bad thing' might be that doesn't has lift and you have to take your luggage by stairs. My enjoy here was really confortable, I highly recommend!

May House is run by a small family together with the restaurant (also really good) on ground floor. Our stay was very comfortable with good service esp with our requests for hair dryer and cutleries to the room. The only downside was that we have to climb stairs to go to our room, but wasn’t a huge problem at all.
