Bauman Ville Hotel

When we arrived at the hotel late at night, after 10pm, there was confusion as to the room type we had booked. We reserved 2 superior doubles, but were initially taken to 2 family rooms on the ground floor. They were dark, had small windows and featured 3 single beds. We were then shown 2 similar rooms on the same floor, one of which had clearly not been cleaned. We were obviously not impressed and were offered to switch the next day to the room types we had booked. After insisting and inquiring about rooms on higher floors, we were then taken to 2 rooms that matched our reservation on the 3rd floor. We also requested one extra pillow but our request was met with "we are fully booked". We just had been taken to 6 different empty rooms at past 10pm... Don't lie, just say "all pillows are accounted for" or "we don't have spare pillows".

It's also another hotel that does not match the photos used to promote it in terms of aesthetics. Just lower your expectations, and don't expect to find what you see like a sitting area in the lobby or any kind of embelishment. Bare skin. To be completely fair, the size of the rooms is surprisingly big and rooms are clean. It is also decently located, about 20-25 minutes walking downhill to the beach. We heard noise from one room next to us one night and on our last night there was no water for a little over an hour. The Bauman Ville is on a busy street, don't expect to keep your windows opened. It is however surrounded by a number of services such as a 24h laundromat, 7-11, a coffee cart and many restaurants. No kettles in the rooms, but there was a mini fridge and a safe. There is a small pool attached to a ground floor outdoor lounge that appeared to be operated independently. For the backpackers and budget conscious travelers, this hotel offers adequate accommodation. Staff service is minimum. Overall our experience matched the price.

Look like nice, I just pass by but I didn't stay in .

Friendly staff- however English is poor. Hotel location not that great from Patong Beach and main tourist spots( about 15-20 minutes walk ) but hotel is surrounded by local restaurants and massage places. Pool is small. No breakfast provided. Cleaning can be improved. Basic necessities adequate. Room is large but a bit out dated and dark. Noisy at night due to the traffic downstairs.
