Yes, the hotel is a little tired, but it's incredibly well priced for what it is. Rooms are cleaned well and stocked with all the necessities that u would need.
Staff are lovely and promptly assist with any issues.
Well located to walk into town but also hood access to some more tranquil beaches, such as long beach, love and viking.
Rooms can be up a steep hill, so consider requesting one lower down if u have mobility challenges.
The pool is lovely but could do with a spruce up...we've come in low season, so that may be why? Do watch the bloody monkeys around the pool though....they can swim very well!
Overall, it was an amazing stay ✨️
The rooms are very dated to the point of being very shabby with an inch gap all around the external door.
Sunbeds on the beach were also all torn and old.
Be aware you could be walking up very steep hills to your bungalow but help with carrying bags.
We walked from the pier, seemed easier than getting on a boat and climbing off into the sea.
Grounds unkempt.
On the upside it's right on a lovely beach and great for swimming. Lots of bean bags to sit on and serving food and drinks at the hotel bar.
Breakfast was ok.
Staff lovely.
Beds were clean and comfortable.
Air con worked well. A hanger for wet swimming gear on balcony would be an improvement.
Overpriced for the state of the accommodation wouldn't stay again.
I had a very underwhelming stay at this resort. The service was poor and the staff were not at all friendly or welcoming. One major inconvenience was that the rooms were located quite far from the reception, making it a task to reach them—especially after a long day.
Another frustrating aspect was being asked for upfront payment for everything, which gave the impression of distrust and made the experience feel more transactional than hospitable. Overall, I expected a relaxing getaway but ended up with a lot of hassle and discomfort. Definitely not worth the money or the hype.
Although be prepared to walk up a very steep hill to your room. This didn't bother us as we were prepared for this. It is the far end of Phi Phi but out the way of the very trashy tourist area. Breakfast was also really tasty with freshly made eggs.
The only thing that let's the hotel is the rooms are a little tired and the towels were very worn and the one pillow you get each are so uncomfortable. After asking if I could have another pillow as struggled to sleep with the hard pillow I had I was told I would have to pay, which I think is pretty unexceptable as most hotels you'd be given at least 2 pillows and if a complaint was made would be given a replacement.
But overall would recommend anyone to stay here as location was the highlight of our trip.
