Phi Phi CoCo Beach Resort - SHA Extra Plus

This hotel features a beautiful structure and is perfectly located—close enough to the island's center while still offering direct access to the sea.
The breakfast is complete and delicious, and the service is impeccable.
Both the room and the restroom are lovely, though a little on the small side. But honestly, who stays in their room when you're in stunning Phi Phi?
It's worth every penny :)

ps: there was very loud music every day until 2:30 am on the beach, but it is not the hotel's responsibility

Great stay the only thing that could improve is bar service, very slow almost none.

Amazing resort, beautiful bungalows, great staff and impeccable grounds. The pool and private beach are amazing. They provide free kayaks and snorkeling gear. The daily breakfast is the best I've ever seen in Thailand. The lunch and dinners at the hotel are wonderful. this is the only hotel on the islands main beach that has direct private beach access. If you're looking for a first class resort with first class food this is probably your best choice. The only warning is the nearby nightclubs play music till 4 AM which is not the hotel's fault it's a problem with the whole island you can hear the music from everywhere. The island should really limit the nightclubs music.

It is such a lovely hotel, it has lovely staff, a beautiful pool, the restaurant had delicious food and drinks, you can have a massage overlooking the ocean. The only problem is that the noise from the clubs/ bars at night is a lot. We struggled to get a good night’s sleep for the 5 days we went there. The walk back from the shopping streets or restaurants is a bit far and quite scary and dark… a gravel road with a lot of trash to get back to the accommodation.

The resort is amazing, unfortunately the sound proofing in the unit is dismal. People staying next to you feel as if they are in the same room as you. Then the music from the bars across the street can be heard very clearly from your room until 3am every night, making it difficult to sleep. The location of the hotel is far from town and is a 20 minute walk. The staff and restaurant is fantastic!

Beautiful little resort but with a few serious flaws that should be considered before choosing this as your place to stay.

As other reviews continue to mention, the noise from the clubs across the bay is loud and goes on until 3am. You will be hearing “Boom Boom Boom” even in your dreams if you manage to fall asleep. If this is not your jam, consider before booking.

Additionally, the bamboo bungalows are not sound proof and you hear everything plain as day in the huts adjacent to yours. EVERYTHING.

The staff were amazing. Although, if you’re in the 607-614 bungalow block then you will hear the staff as their quarters/service areas are directly behind this block. They start servicing the premises early so it’s just another thing that disrupts your sleep.

Breakfast closes at 10am promptly - which is an inconvenience as most of the guests emerge the last 45 minutes it’s open to get breakfast and it becomes packed. The resort should reconsider and push back its hours 30-60 minutes.

The menus and drinks are great and there is a wide variety available to choose from.

The beachfront is beautiful in terms of view, but you’ll want to walk towards the center of the bay to not get the silty water in front of the resort.

Great room, clean and beautiful… only complain is that I would say the food service and drinks you have to get on your own, I wasn’t able to get resort service .

Excellent staff, excellent views. Very nice. Only negative is that it’s very noisy if you are stuck near selfish people who sit outside till late. Music from beach travels up as well.

The hotel is beautiful, in front of the ocean, nice rooms (though small), nice restaurant, friendly staff, pool is great too. But acustics are an issue in the hotel, the beautiful bamboo huts are zero sound proof you can hear your neighborgs breathing, and that wouldn’t be so bad if the extra loud cheap trance music from the bars nearby didn’t come in feeling like it’s in your room and accounting for terrible sleep. this was specially worse for me as I had a room with pool/sea view at row 1 and sound just went in there, I asked to change rooms and they did and at row 5  i had a much better sleep. It’s sad because this is not the hotel’s fault but municipality should really do something about the bars, it really messes the entire Phi Phi paradise experience.
