El Mouradi Palm Marina Hotel

I wouldn't recommend booking this hotel it states it's 5 stars but far from it.
1)The whole building is very old and dated the lifts hardly work, tvs are from the 90s and the hairdryers are ancient.
2)The rooms are very basic don't be fooled by the pictures on the website. The first room we got had a terrible view of a chicken farm and was very old fashioned. When we asked to move to a better room they wouldn't do it without a bribe. And even when we got the new room it was still terrible and ants everywhere.
3) The all inclusive menu is the same every single day with very basic food and the drink portions are tiny basically for kids. Very hard to get ice even though the place extremely hot. The hygiene is very questionable I picked up a few plates that were still dirty from the night before and ants crawling on the walls in the restaurant area.
4) The whole vibe of the hotel is very boring absolutely nothing to do except sit by the pool or beach all day. In the evening time there is only entertainment for kids and it's the same things repeated every single day nothing different.
Please don't bother wasting your money!!!

Desperate hygiene. Dirty dishes, dirty rooms, bed linen, lots of hair. Clogged sinks and bathtubs. Dirty carpets. The plates in the restaurant were not always the cleanest, and the place mats on the table are dirty because they are not changed after each guest. They never change. Beach towels are small, old and mostly torn, worn out. Dirty beach, they didn't want to collect the grass thrown out by the sea, so it was impossible to get to the sea for the last 3 days. The food was good, only the barbecue and the potatoes were not always cooked well. They don't have coke, but if you tip the waiter, then they do. There isn't always beer. The animation team is the only bright spot of the hotel, they were great and without them the vacation would be completely ruined. Many hotel guests complained of stomach problems.
Rooms full of ants. The whole hotel is full of ants. Ants go on tables, deckchairs, beds...
The pool is good and big.
The lifeguards on the beach are mostly friendly, as are the restaurant staff.

I don’t recommend staying here for these reasons :

A- the food is not great and it’s the same menu everyday.

B- the room I was given at first was terrible really old and terrible view,looking over a chicken farm. A TV from the 90s and ants in the room.

C- No entertainment for adults all they do is the same music and play with the kids every night it’s soo boring

D- the drinks are free but super small like kids portions and no ice on drink except on the bar even drinks with food are so small we had to ask for 2 drinks all times and specifically in the beach the drinks are warm and hardly any ice.

E- everything is old in the building don’t be fooled by the pictures on the website like imagine lifts and hairdryers and TV’s and toilets and everything is old and not fancy at all definitely a waste of money.
