Ankara Royal Hotel

Greetings and good wishes from sunny South Africa. My family and I had the most pleasant stay at Royal Ankara Hotel on May 9, 2025. The exceptional service, and the friendly staff made it a wonderful experience.

The attached photo was taken on the morning of May 10, 2025 prior to our tour group's departure for Cappadocia. She is an employee of Royal Ankara and willingly consented to having her photo taken with me on our exit.

She is of an extremely friendly personality; her warm smile, friendly disposition, and helpful nature make her an invaluable asset to the Royal Ankara Hotel team. It is my wish that she continues to serve her employer with dedication and that her sincerity to her vocation does not go unrewarded. May greater heights beckon.

I had a pleasant stay at Ankara Royal Hotel. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Ankara, making it easy to explore nearby attractions, shops, and small restaurants. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, providing a relaxing stay.

Breakfast was a highlight, with a wide variety of delicious options to start the day. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests. Their warm hospitality made the experience even better.

The lobby was well-maintained, offering a cozy space to relax or meet with others. Additionally, the hotel is surrounded by great small restaurants, making it easy to find good food within walking distance.

Overall, I would rate my stay 4 out of 5 stars. It’s a great choice for travelers looking for a centrally located hotel with comfortable accommodations, excellent service, and easy access to local dining and attractions.

For the price that you pay, it's got nice rooms, good breakfast and helpful and polite personnel.

  Although the staff didn’t know much English, as I wrote a note in English and hopefully put it at reception desk, the kind, caring manager called me and with his every day helpful commands such as translating, getting me the information I need, telling where to visit and how to etc  I could handle all the things and feel like home.  

The location is the best, five minutes walking to US embassy, about twenty minutes or less to Kougulu park, around the hotel you find everything you need; shops, exchanges, taxi station, a few minutes walking to bus station, and also 2minutes walking to Tunali street where you can find many restaurants and do your shopping. Even the location is  in the middle of a the city, the room is quiet for a good sleep and also clean. Breakfast was fine.

If there is something unpleasant, they would warmly change or fix it.

I didn’t use spa, but it would be relaxing using spa after long walks in hilly streets of Ankara.

Morning staff are helpful and cheerful. The hotel is clean, hand sanitisers are everywhere. I would recommend this hotel under the condition that they fix the air conditioning units as they are noisy and no cold air - just during the summer.
